30/03/2026: Nice bar with a spectacular view of the lake. It's a shame it's almost always full—you absolutely need a reservation. The prices are quite high, but the presentation is exquisite and spectacular. Great place for a drink or a quick snack. For the location and view alone, it deserves five stars.

12/02/2026: Lovely terrace, friendly service, but 22 euros for 2 cappuccinos and 2 slices of apple pie is exorbitant. You wouldn't even pay that at the foot of the Duomo in Florence. I'd drive a bit further.

01/05/2026: Biblical times for food that was completely below expectations. We waited over an hour for grilled vegetables that arrived completely burned, and cheeses declared to be mountain pasture cheeses were clearly found at Esselunga. No.

I want to believe that these were people who, like me, care deeply about "La Moltrasina" for what it was and what it will be. Even though it is a profane place, crossing the threshold was like entering a magical place, peculiar to a reality far more attractive than a renowned "resort." The five stars are a testament to trust in the Cooperative and the many associations that support it, who will work for the best. Unity in diversity and Forward to Rebirth.

22/01/2026: I ate at Trattoria La Moltrasina and had a truly excellent experience. The restaurant is located on the lakeside, in a stunning location that makes the meal even more enjoyable. Everything is delicious, from the typical cuisine to the traditional dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. The portions are generous, as you'd expect from a true trattoria, and the price is more than fair for the quality and location. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, perfect for enjoying authentic cuisine without frills. In short, a highly recommended place for a good meal on the lake and a truly satisfying meal. It's a shame it's now closed.

24/05/2026: I ordered three pizzas at 7:00 PM (order no. 2). There was only one order in front of me for one pizza. After about 15 minutes, order no. 3, which arrived after me and consisted of four pizzas, was delivered. At that moment, the pizza chef told the cashier that he could deliver my order too, even though there was still one pizza missing. Shortly after, he began preparing the third and final pizza from my order. At 7:22 PM, the three pizzas were finally delivered. I pointed out that if the first two had been cold when I got home, I would have turned back, because it's unacceptable to leave pizzas waiting for more than 10 minutes. The cashier assured me that they were warm because they were kept "warm." Too bad that, having arrived home after just 5 minutes, the first two pizzas were already cold. Mistakes happen, but in this case, on-site service hadn't even started, and there was only one pizza in front of my order. For someone paying for a service charge, this is unfair and unprofessional.

05/05/2026: This was our second visit – unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Our first visit was positive, but this time we were disappointed. Charging an additional €50 per person for spa access on top of an overnight price of over €200 felt exorbitant. We expected more from a resort of this caliber. Dinner also failed to impress. The Angus burger sounded promising but was a letdown: the meat was coarsely chopped, lumpy, and anything but tender. It simply wasn't worth the price. We were particularly disappointed with how our feedback was handled. We politely informed the staff that the food didn't meet our expectations, but received no real response. No explanation, no alternative, no replacement, no apology. In the end, we were left with a hefty bill and a disappointing experience. In our opinion, the pictures speak for themselves. We'll leave it to the community to decide whether the price and quality are in line. As guests of the resort, we would have appreciated at least a little more attention, goodwill, and appreciation.

02/05/2026: I spent one night at this beautiful property, staying in a Deluxe room. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with truly high-quality products. We also had dinner at the property's restaurant, and what can I say? Everything was truly top-notch, including the service and friendliness of all the staff. The spa experience was very relaxing and enjoyable, and the outdoor pool on the upper solarium was an added bonus. I highly recommend this experience, and I'll definitely repeat it.

12/02/2026: Absolutely stunning views from arrival to departure, I had a corner suite which had views from the front and the side of the room. Since the view was important to me this hotel did not disappoint in any way. The downside is how very small the rooms are and the structure allows noise to carry. People walking outside the door and the noise from the room above could not be overlooked. The bathroom was very dark although a very good use of space especially since it was so small. The food was disappointing from everything I had read so I had an expectation. The breakfast service was very good and again, great views of the lake. If the room size and food are not important then this hotel is perfect.

14/05/2026: The hotel boasts a fantastic location on the shores of Lake Mezzola, the northern extension of Lake Como. The room offers a beautiful view of the lake, and its location in a quiet cul-de-sac with virtually no traffic makes it very peaceful. The room on the second floor was small but very modern and fully equipped, with a small balcony. A fuse box in the room hummed audibly throughout the night. Unfortunately, there were signs that the cleaning after the previous guests hadn't been very thorough: a torn sachet of shower gel in the shower tray, a ripped plastic wrapper from a candy on the floor... We were greeted by an older woman with all the charm of a prison guard. Instead of a greeting, she simply muttered, "Documenta!" Otherwise, this woman was only ever seen watching television. Luckily, the two younger members of the team were both friendly and multilingual. Annoyingly, although the hotel clearly states that there is no extra charge for pets, our two dogs were billed at €10 each. This isn't an unusually high price, but I don't like being lied to. They should have mentioned it beforehand. The breakfast—as mentioned in other reviews—is exceptionally generous by Italian standards, including a large quantity of top-quality prosciutto and good cheese. I would give the hotel four stars. Why only three? Because of the restaurant. Dinner at the restaurant left a mixed impression: Officially open from 7:00 p.m., we had a reservation for 7:30 p.m. and arrived at 7:35 p.m. We were the only guests shown to our table—and then left to our own devices. A woman was dining at another table, and we only learned afterward that she was the waitress/junior manager. So we had to wait until she finished her dinner at 8:00 p.m. before we could even order drinks. The primi piatti, tortelloni with fish and spaghetti with fish ragu, were very good, but the main course was a complete disaster: The "Mixed Seafood Platter" cost €21 per person without sides, and grilled vegetables as a side dish cost an additional €4.50 per person. What arrived at the table is something I would never dare serve my guests: two small whole fish, deep-fried, per person; a pile of sprat-like small fish, also deep-fried; and two small "fish nuggets"—deep-fried. Everything was completely unseasoned, without any salt or herbs. Just a piece of lemon. The grilled vegetables consisted of two tiny slices of eggplant, three tiny slices of zucchini, and two small slices of bell pepper, thrown on the grill without any oil, herbs, or spices. The total came to €25.50 per person. This main course is nowhere near worth that. The restaurant gets two points for the good appetizer, resulting in an overall rating of three stars in conjunction with the hotel.

26/05/2026: The place looks nice, but upon closer inspection, you realize it's anything but: two out of two bathrooms have broken doors, making it impossible to lock them, and there's mold on the ceiling. The air in the ground floor "outdoor garden" is in a state of total disrepair. The food is below average. We were asked if we wanted grated cheese for our pasta, which we accepted, but were served a small bowl of moldy cheese. I'm pregnant. I find this absolutely unacceptable. The waiters are very friendly. The prices are high.

21/10/2025: A day at the Villa Aprica clinic. The location is at the foot of the hill leading up to the clinic. Due to limited parking, I parked near the bar, staying in my car for fear of fines. The bar staff were super friendly, courteous, and helpful. Excellent coffee. Excellent piadina. Again, they were super friendly, which is not a given. Highly recommended!
