05/12/2025: A lovely place, warm and welcoming, with very friendly staff. We had two appetizers and two first courses. Water and Coke were included. The local appetizer was good, perhaps a little cheap for the price. The vegetables were really good, especially the buttered spinach, which is highly recommended. For our first course, we had fusilli with sausage and yellow cherry tomatoes. These are highly recommended.

26/11/2025: Very nice place, very good and plentiful food. The staff was very friendly.

02/08/2025: The view is magnificent but the food isn't. They profile themselves as the better restaurant from the area. The prices are higher but the food is off poorer quality. My fish was overcooked, the pasta was very basic and the chef didn't put very much energy in the sauces or antipasta.

26/06/2025: Less than it promises: The service is friendly but a bit uncertain. In the area, waiters in even the smallest bars speak several languages; here, even English is a problem. Communication was abysmal. The food was very reasonably priced and nicely presented, but the zander was frozen salmon and the chanterelles were canned. The menu was mistranslated, so to our surprise, we found crayfish tails on our pasta instead of rabbit. The ambiance was the best: a seat on the balcony with tablecloths, a great table setting, and a wonderful view of the lake.

30/04/2025: I'm reposting my review as it has been removed (my compliments!). We've already filed a complaint with the Italian Competition Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza del Mercato) because the prices displayed are inaccurate and you'll end up paying more. Here's the text of the complaint: On March 9, 2025, I went to "SKI Bar La Baracca" for breakfast. I chose a slice of cake listed on the menu above the register at the price of €4.50. However, when I paid, I was asked for a different price, €5.00. I immediately informed the staff of the discrepancy between the displayed price and the actual price, but they told me the price list wasn't up to date. My comment was met with a very pedantic reply, "It's normal; we don't update it every time." Having established that this constitutes a violation of the Consumer Code, the staff neither provided an explanation nor corrected the price. I believe this behavior constitutes an unfair commercial practice, pursuant to Article 18 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005, and I wonder if other customers have been subject to the same irregularity.

12/12/2025: Even though I've been a customer for years, I was really disappointed. After enjoying an aperitif at a table with someone else, I went to pay the bill at the register, intending to also buy some sweets and a pandoro. The place was half empty, and there was no one waiting at the register. Suddenly, a girl came in and approached the cashier without even asking my permission, asking about a certain package that had arrived for a friend of hers. The owner, completely ignoring me and without even apologizing, started an argument about the package and where the girl was supposed to pick it up. After the necessary explanations were given, and just when I thought I was fortunately allowed to pay, the girl also asked for cigarettes, and the owner, hearing that I was asking for the bill, told me to wait because he had to give the girl the cigarettes... I was shocked! The girl noticed the situation and finally apologized, but the owner didn't. Instead, he gave her the cigarettes and made her pay without batting an eyelid. I believe that this place, on the surface, abounds in exquisiteness and courtesy, but certainly not in correctness and good manners.

03/10/2025: Tourist trap?? If you enjoy delicious food and friendly service, this is the place for you. If you're looking for great food at a reasonable price, you're probably better off looking elsewhere. We'll be back anytime!

17/09/2025: A wonderful restaurant! Great view! Special dishes 🥰 and friendly staff! A fantastic evening for us. We ate there last year...we were looking forward to it again this year 🥰...and of course, an evening at Ai Pines is on the cards for next year on Lake Garda 🥰. I don't understand some of the reviews here...yes, tastes differ, but there's something for everyone in this restaurant! Keep up the good work! Thank you and see you next year 🥰

05/06/2025: Visitamos este restaurante, después de pedir en nuestro hotel una sugerencia para una comida... bien valió la pena, tuvimos un poco de hipo al principio, cuando pedimos un entrante de pescado, lo que vino no fue lo que pensamos, pero decidimos mantenerlo y probarlo, estaba delicioso... Volvimos una segunda vez, esta vez pedimos la Pasta de Mariscos para 2 , absolutamente deliciosa y más que suficiente para dos personas. El personal era encantador y amable, dispuesto a ayudarle con sus elecciones. . . . pero lo mejor de todo era la vista desde el restaurante, con vistas al lago de Garda

02/06/2025: Restauracja godna polecenia, Jedzenie 5/5 Obsługa 5/5 (angielski/niemiecki nie jest problemem - wyrozumiała i dobra obsługa) Miejsce 5/5- na tarasie widok na jezioro. Cisza spokój (muzyka w tle cicho sobie gra, można w spokoju rozmawiać) Czas oczekiwania myślę ze standardowo. Ceny przystępne. Polecam sprobować wino Lugana Sirmione oraz lane piwo.

25/09/2025: One star because we weren't served. We sat at the table for 10 minutes, three tables were occupied, and the staff stood at the counter, chatting nonstop. The ambiance wasn't great anyway. A few meters further on, Bar Don Carlos, had excellent service and a fantastic view of the lake.

13/09/2025: Beautiful view over the lake. We had two pizzas and two pasta dishes. The pizzas were excellent. In the pasta dish, 3 out of 10 mussels were closed, and the tagiatelle were not just al dente but al dentista...almost undercooked. A shame.

08/06/2025: Friendly and helpful staff, fast service. Unique, top-quality pizzas. Delicious desserts, plated with a touch of class. The place is spacious, bright, and extremely clean. The chef's pizza is highly recommended.
