16/08/2025: I went there this afternoon after 1 pm and ordered a burger alla boscaiola. I have to admit that I was really pleased with the choice of making the bread with pizza dough (I deeply hate fast-food-style sweet sandwiches). The portions are very generous and they were very quick. The staff is very helpful and friendly (the owner in particular). Next time I'll try the pizzas and then the kebab (but for that I'll go on an empty stomach, because it's really very filling). The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Regarding parking, it's not the best, but if you arrive at off-peak hours, you can find it.

02/09/2025: The campsite is in a magnificent location, the facilities are adequate, the bathroom a bit outdated. I give it this rating because the restrooms weren't all as clean as they should have been. While it's true that the campsite was full, in my opinion, cleaning needs to be improved.

25/08/2025: Well-maintained, well-equipped, and clean campsite with a pool, pizzeria, and market. Access to the lake and the promenade. One of the few campsites offering a camper stop option. Worth it!

31/08/2025: I've rarely eaten such bad carbonara. A greasy, packaged sauce that tasted bitter. The pasta was lukewarm. It arrived at the table a minute after ordering. Everything was ready, pre-made! The cappuccino, on the other hand, took 15 minutes. Service was a bit lackluster and inattentive. And despite the restaurant being completely empty, they initially refused to let us sit at a table for four. Instead of a coperto, they immediately demanded a 10% service charge. The bread bag already contained a half-eaten loaf. The only plus point is the location right by the water. Oh yeah, and apparently the soap in the restrooms is only refilled once a month.

Poca empatia e "etichette innaturali" nel personale di sala ad eccezione di Lorenzo che ci ha da subito coinvolto con la sua spontaneità , serenità ed allegria! Il suo spirito "anticonformista" ha lasciato trasparire senza esitazione la sua vera passione verso il prodotto della sua famiglia: il vino della tenuta Ambrosini! Rispetto agli altri ci è apparso lontano dalle convenienze di puro profitto ed è riuscito a conquistarci e a farci apprezzare i loro Franciacorta anche se non avremmo mai pensato di utilizzare queste tipologie di vino a tutto pasto. A lui i nostri rinnovati complimenti. Pranzo! Antipasto: saporiti e genuini l'assaggio di polenta e i tre affettati, ridotto al minimo l'unico spicchietto di formaggio, anonime le frittate. Gustoso il ripieno dei "casoncelli", ben cotto l'arrosto. Basico il dolce. Lasciato la tenuta per mancanza di tempo prima del caffè: a nostro avviso tre ore per tre portate sono "tante"! Solo previo supplemento di 5 euro (da pagare solo sul posto) e anticipando di un'ora l'arrivo avremmo potuto visitare le cantine: riteniamo che questa attività ha fini puramente commerciali e abbinata a un pranzo dal costo sicuramente non economico potrebbe forse essere compresa?!? Nel complesso ringraziamo per l'esperienza.

Going a second time as it wasn't a pizza day and oriented towards first and second courses I found very high prices compared to the dishes and a very poor and expensive cold cuts platter not to be repeated so the advice is just to focus on the pizza.

22/07/2025: Sono stato ospite di questo ristorante su suggerimento di amici. La struttura gode di una posizione privilegiata, situata nel centro storico di Sirmione e affacciata sul suggestivo scenario del lago di Garda, offrendo così un contesto ambientale di grande fascino. Il servizio si è rivelato nel complesso cortese e sufficientemente attento, seppur privo di elementi distintivi. Per quanto concerne l’offerta gastronomica, essa appare orientata prevalentemente a un target turistico. La mia compagna ha gustato un piatto di chitarrine con gamberi e pistacchio, risultato equilibrato e piacevole. Personalmente ho optato per il primo del giorno a base di cozze e pesto: una proposta non sgradevole, ma priva di particolare carattere, probabilmente penalizzata dall’utilizzo di pasta precotta, elemento comprensibile in contesti ad alto flusso ma comunque poco valorizzante. La nota più negativa della serata è stata il dessert. Invogliato dall’aspetto dei dolci esposti nel frigorifero, ho ordinato una panna cotta ai frutti di bosco. Purtroppo, quella servita al tavolo non corrispondeva affatto all’aspetto del dolce esposto: era evidentemente non fresca e presentava persino tracce di muffa su uno dei frutti. Ciò che più mi ha deluso, tuttavia, è stata la mancanza di attenzione nella gestione della segnalazione: né un gesto di cortesia né una semplice scusa da parte del personale. Il dolce è stato semplicemente sostituito con uno più fresco.Un comportamento più premuroso avrebbe senz’altro contribuito a ridimensionare l’accaduto. A titolo costruttivo, invito la direzione a prestare maggiore cura alla qualità dell’offerta e alla gestione del cliente, affinché l’eccellenza della location sia rispecchiata da un’esperienza all’altezza delle aspettative.

15/08/2025: I confess that we went there by chance, it was starting to get late and we weren't expecting much because the location was a bit out of the way, instead we had a very good dinner: ordinary but good dishes, exceptional casoncelli, very hospitable owner and waitress, more than reasonable price.
