19/05/2025: A trattoria that is still as it was! Amazing food, very high quality, cooked and run still by a family. Tindaro is a lovely host and you could stay there all night to hear his jokes and stories. Give a try to their pizza if you have a small space in your belly. Fabulous experience surrounded by beautiful locals and beautiful hills.

06/06/2025: Il locale è datato e un po' buio. Alcuni tavoli sono divisi da pannelli per questo offre una buona privacy. Ho apprezzato la qualità e la quantità dei piatti proposti e c'è ampia scelta nel menù. Piatti tipici (sciatt e pizzoccheri) disponibili su prenotazione con una richiesta di almeno due unità. Personale gentile. Parcheggio a disposizione.

09/06/2025: When booking I asked if it was possible to have the lactose-free brunch option, which was confirmed to me, upon my arrival, specifying my intolerance again they gave me a wholemeal brioche and plain yogurt. I think the waiters/owners did not quite understand the meaning of lactose-free food!! I prefer places where they are honest and tell you that they do not have lactose-free options to here that just to sell you they will give you anything!

10/06/2025: Ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail, 90% of the glass was full of ice, all for the "modest" sum of €7.00. After our complaints, the barman thought it best to remake it with less ice, another €7.00. I paid for both because I consider myself an honest person, but honestly I felt robbed. Congratulations for the most expensive ice in Italy.

07/06/2025: We were there during the week and were seated without any waiting time. The service was very attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the food (one pizza and one pasta) very much, and the drinks (beer and wine) were also excellent. The only minor annoyance was the TVs being on (a minor quibble).

15/05/2025: Trattoria pizzeria in the center that offers a fixed menu for midday. The food is good and the portions are generous. The strength of this place is the lady at the service who was very nice and kind. Definitely a good place to stop. Next time I will try the pizza that looked good!

Great value for money. The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive! We'll definitely be back if we're in the area.

27/06/2025: On the occasion of our first wedding anniversary, we happened to have lunch at this restaurant, immersed in a spectacular landscape. It was an incredible discovery! For lunch we ate fish, all very fresh and cooked with great care. After lunch, we spent the afternoon in Sirmione, an enchanting city that is truly worth a visit. We had such a good time that, the evening before returning to Milan, we decided to return to taste the pizza we had eyed for lunch... and it lived up to expectations: truly delicious! The staff is exceptional, all kind, friendly and welcoming. A very sweet lady (perhaps the owner?) made us feel at home, with a smile and rare kindness. A place that has remained in our hearts: for the food, for the view and above all for the familiar and authentic atmosphere. We definitely recommend it! Best regards

14/06/2025: After two years I returned for the 4th time and I must say that more or less the situation has remained the same as two years ago: high prices, long waiting times, friendly staff and a nice and welcoming environment. The only reason that pushed me to return is that, having signed up for the loyalty program, on your birthday Checchi offers dessert and a hot drink. I took some pancakes with Nutella, which I didn't particularly like (they are not pancakes, it is sponge cake, which by the way are cooked in the oven, which lengthened the waiting time by 30 minutes). And a TRUFFLE TAMAGO SANDO, which I found pleasant. _______ Previous review 2023: I would like to point out that this is the third time I have been to Checchi and I have always had a good time. For this reason I chose it to return. The waiters were kind and friendly as always. The place is always very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, compared to the previous times, the prices have risen significantly (in addition, the drink was previously included in the brunch menu). I therefore expected that the quality of the products would also have increased, which unfortunately did not seem to be the case. The savoury dish was very good, but the same cannot be said for the dessert. I took the pancakes, which were more reminiscent of a sponge cake than a pancake, and I paid for the addition of Nutella thinking that it would be served hot on top of the pancakes (as it has always been and as is normally done) but this time it was served separately, making it more inconvenient to consume.
