19/07/2024: We were here on the way home a few years ago and again today. The location in our own vineyard is very nice, and the proximity to Lake Iseo is also great. The own sparkling wine “bollicine” is very good in different versions. There is a large parking lot in front of the house. The “hotel” is called an agriturismo - that's ok, but there are some things that could be improved. You have to look for the entrance - there is no reception anywhere and if you have dragged your luggage up the stairs to the dining room on the 2nd floor from the parking lot you will also find the reception. The young man Lorenzo tried very hard to help us speak English well and was also our waiter in the evening. The rooms are up a flight of stairs and are nice at first glance. There is also a pool in the garden with a great view. But about the room - we paid €170 with breakfast, so I expect a certain level of cleanliness. It wasn't really dirty but the wooden beams probably hadn't been dusted for a long time. After the air conditioning wasn't cooling properly (not good when the outside temperature was 40 degrees) I took a look and no one was surprised that it wasn't working - the layer of dust on the inside of the slats was centimeters thick. Since you couldn't open the windows/patio doors because of the heat, it was stuffy. The view from our balcony is of a not very pretty backyard. The bed is very comfortable but the leather edges are a bit frayed. The bathroom was clean and ok. Dinner and breakfast were served on the terrace, which is a nice size but sparsely furnished with wobbly tables and the chairs have seen better days - it's a shame you could do more with it here. A little decoration and no dried-out flower boxes would help a lot here. The food was very tasty, but there was no printed menu with prices and a drinks menu with a description of the winery's individual varieties - then you would have an overview and anticipation. The minibar in the room could also contain a bottle from the winery with 2 champagne glasses so that you don't sit dry until dinner at 7:30 p.m. (for a fee, of course). What we also noticed negatively was the daughter of the house (via Instagram Posts known) just walks past you without even saying hello. This happened to us twice in this short time - very surprising since Italians are already known for their hospitality. Our conclusion for 1 night was ok - we wouldn't stay here longer. There are more inviting alternatives in the area

08/08/2024: First night out for dinner in Salo. High expectations going by the que to the restaurant. Bitten alive by all sorts of insects. Staff was fairly rude. Food I would have been better off making myself at home fairly poor. Worst restaurant I’ve eaten in my entire life. Would not recommend at all avoid at all costs.

16/05/2024: The restaurant opened on time, we stopped on the way from Brescia nad Iseo around 12:05, 2-course dinner, appetizer, water and coffee for €18, very nice atmosphere, great service. The food was also delicious and beautifully presented, a top-class restaurant! We managed to communicate in English without any problems - I highly recommend it!

15/05/2024: unfortunately not a good experience at my son's confirmation! the waiter, agitated as ever, almost threw the food on your plate. the rice was overcooked. they made a mistake and made the cake too small, they forgot to bring the sparkling wine for the desserts! when I mentioned this to the owner the answer was... yes the cake was wrong but we brought an extra scoop of ice cream!!!! I didn't answer out of politeness but honestly if I order a cake and you bring me a scoop of ice cream you'll make a better impression by not saying anything! Was it enough to bring the dessert trolley? morality gave me 20 euros discount on a 600 bill! I would say an experience that I will NEVER repeat!

10/07/2024: I had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Il Veliero and was extremely satisfied. The “Golfo” pizza I tasted was a real delight: the Neapolitan-style dough, thick and soft, was perfectly cooked and created the ideal base for a wonderful seafood salad. The octopus, prawn tails and clams were of the highest quality, very fresh and cooked to perfection. Every bite was an experience of balanced and rich flavours. The service was excellent: the staff were friendly, attentive and very professional. The welcoming atmosphere of the venue made the evening even more pleasant. I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone who wants to enjoy a unique and high quality pizza. I will definitely come back! The Narrator of Taste

19/08/2024: We have just come from the restaurant and can only recommend everyone to eat there. Beautifully located in a small alley, great service and nice and attentive staff! We particularly recommend the tagliatelle made from a Parmesan wheel with truffles - a real highlight. We will come back.

24/07/2024: Everything is excellent except the pizza which is terrible in appearance and taste, I don't know if everyone in Brescia makes it the same way but it's everything except pizza... With all due respect but it's more focaccia than pizza

29/07/2024: Very courteous staff and very nice environment, with outside view of the lake. This too is usually a fixed stop in Iseo. It's always nice to find friendly people! Also in this little square there is one of the installations that can be found all over Iseo.
