09/03/2026: I stayed in Selvino with my family over a weekend at the end of February. We arrived at lunchtime and found this lovely restaurant where we ate authentic, simple, and tasty food. The owner, Gabriella, made us feel right at home. My daughter tried meringue for the first time and fell in love! The quality/price ratio is also excellent. If we were to return to Selvino, we would definitely have no hesitation in choosing where to eat.

18/01/2026: I recently went for an aperitivo and it seemed absurd to pay €7 for a spritz. I asked for appetizers and saw on the receipt that the surcharge was €3. It would have been appreciated if they had told me beforehand. €20 for two spritzes with €3 in appetizers per person seems a bit excessive. I won't be returning.

10/01/2026: Top-notch pastry shop. We ordered a cake for my son's birthday. It was beautiful and delicious. We made a great impression on all our guests.

09/06/2025: Purtroppo questa volta non sono stata molto soddisfatta. Il cibo è ottimo e il servizio pure. È successo anche altre volte che l' ambiente fosse eccessivamente freddo ma stavolta forse un po' troppo. Una persona è stata male per colpa dell' aria condizionata. Ho fatto notare più volte quanto sia sgradevole mangiare col freddo, mi è stato detto che il titolare vuole questo...dovrebbe ascoltare i clienti. 26° è una temperatura ideale e non fa star male né quando si entra men che meno quando si esce e fuori ce ne sono 34 e oltre...

07/03/2026: I don't usually write negative reviews. If I don't like a place, I simply don't return. But the experience we had today was so bad that I want to warn anyone who might choose this place. We went for lunch today and ordered four entrees. The entrees were brought after a 50-55 minute wait. Two tables who arrived after us also ate and finished their food. Something obviously went wrong in the kitchen (I presume). Of course, that can happen. That's not the problem! The problem is how we were treated. No one came to warn us, apologize, or offer anything during that entire wait. Only after we asked if it was still a long time did a waiter come to apologize and tell us that our dishes would be arriving soon. Unfortunately, overall, we felt an almost annoyed atmosphere because after an hour of waiting, we even dared to ask. Only one girl (I think she'd just arrived) was nice to us. I ordered risotto, and it tasted good. Too bad the rice was AWESOME!! I've never eaten risotto like that. It melted in my mouth, like baby food, and it was obvious just by looking at it because the grains were all flaky and cracked. I really wonder how a COOK can make something like that?????!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, I had to eat it because I was starving, and imagine waiting another hour for another dish. Obviously, I couldn't tell anyone since we were NEVER asked how our dishes were, not even once when they picked them up or when we paid the bill! Regarding the bill... total €60.50... paid €60.50! Shameful in my opinion. Mistakes happen to everyone; we're all human. The difference lies in how you treat the customer when these things happen. It's a shame because the place is truly beautiful, but the management is a big NO!

23/02/2026: We were a table of 10, and we all ordered different dishes, and everything seemed good. It's a shame that after just leaving the restaurant, half of us had to stop in the middle of the street several times because we were feeling very, very sick. The owner, who is rude on the premises, confirmed this over the phone after we reported this mix-up. Not even an apology or a "sorry." Totally negative. Additionally, the service was very slow and inaccurate. They don't have drinks (which is understandable), but when we asked for them, they treated us very rudely once again. Not recommended

23/10/2025: Embarrassing, I think that's the most fitting adjective for what we received!!! Well, two Spritzes and two iced teas, cost €28, but no problem, of course. The problem arose when the two Spritzes tasted like anything but Spritz. An absurd flavor I've never tried before, Campari that tasted like something completely different and Aperol I'm assuming from discount stores, truly horrible, all accompanied by half a kilo of peanuts and nothing else (like we were a bunch of monkeys), decidedly old, stale, and also with a horrible flavor. Absolutely failed!!!!!!
