14/12/2024: The best casoncelli in the whole Seriana valley. Excellent prices, more than fair portions, out of scale casoncelli and delicious typical polenta from Rovetta. Super recommended!

11/02/2025: What can I say? We have become regulars here for the "dancing" evenings. Particular location (restaurant, yes because there is also a riding stable and it is the ideal place for children too..) there is also a summer swimming pool for dinners by the water with a built-in dive. We usually go on Fridays for the evenings with entertainment (Alex Pinna, great and histrionic entertainer and great friend!) because you can enjoy an excellent fixed price menu and listen to (and dance to) songs for us "old" people from the 60s/70s/80s/90s. What else to say? Try it to believe it!!

31/03/2025: Arrivati con molte aspettative…Delusione, ambiente bello e cameriere gentili e disponibili…cibo non all’altezza dei prezzi…. Casoncelli buoni ma… Coniglio con polenta che dovrebbe essere un plus visto che siamo nelle valli Bergamasche da sconsigliare, bollente e secco sinonimo di prodotto riscaldato, assurdo dato che era di domenica mezzogiorno e non in un giorno feriale. PECCATO!!!!

18/01/2025: Piatti tipici molto buoni! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Personale accogliente. Per chi vuole godersi un buon pasto nel borgo, è una tappa consigliatissima!

Soy un amante de la comida muy experimentado y podría haber comido - el mejor - pizza de mi vida aquí esta noche. Te veo mañana y todas las noches hasta que me vaya.

22/03/2025: Locale semplice informale, personale gentile, ci sono due turni per mangiare la loro pizza che è buona leggera , di buona qualità e molto digeribile. Prezzi onesti, l’unica cosa i dolci non di mio gradimento. Tornerò per assaggiare la pizza con impasto integrale. 🟢🟢🟢🟢 prezzo / qualità

11/01/2025: Good morning, I feel obliged to respond here to my negative review on thefork as I can't on the platform just mentioned. 1 I am not Masterchef but it would be enough to reread to understand (I find it difficult given that you only know how to mention Masterchef as soon as a note is made to you) that the criticisms were not about the food but about the service/treatment. I never refer to the quality of the food. 2 blaming the employee doesn't do you credit and.... clean dishes? The plates were not clean and empty. 3 "...just check it's clearly written.....", let's talk about the fact that you updated the menu on thefork after my negative review writing breaded and fried on perch; I checked again the same evening and it wasn't written there (it says that it was just updated on thefork). Furthermore, I had asked for the paper menu to check and it wasn't listed there. Then just scroll on the fork to read about other people talking about the non-fried perch listed on the menu. Dishonesty

25/02/2025: Mi son fermato a prendere una pizza ai 4 formaggi...beh scadente è anche fin troppo ottimista. Impasto insipido, la salsa altrettanto e invece di 4 formaggi vi erano solo 3 formaggi. Avendo esperienza nella ristorazione so cosa vedo e cosa non voglio più mangiare.

18/03/2025: Felt Like a Scam – Unjustifiably High Prices and Unclear Menu I recently visited "La Caffetteria Di Porta Nuova" and left feeling completely ripped off. I regret not checking the reviews beforehand, as many others have shared similar experiences about the outrageous pricing and lack of transparency. The menu was inconsistent—some items had prices listed, but many did not. When I went to pay the bill, I was shocked to see how much I was being charged for items that had no pricing displayed. This lack of clarity feels intentional and borderline scam-like, the whole experience left me feeling taken advantage of. While the staff were generally polite, the overall experience was overshadowed by the feeling of being scammed. What’s even more concerning is that I feel this bar targets non-locals, as they seem to charge excessively high prices to people who aren’t from the city. I strongly advise everyone—locals and tourists alike—to be cautious when visiting this bar. The prices are unjustifiable, and the lack of transparency is unacceptable. I won’t be returning and would recommend looking elsewhere for a better and more honest experience. To clarity i took: 2 glasses of water: 0.50€ (each glass) 1 orange juice: 6,00€ 1 latte macchiato: 3,00€ 1 krapfen alla crema: 3,00€ Total: 13,00€
