21/10/2025: We tried some traditional dishes, which we found to be good. The atmosphere was quiet, and the prices were moderate and appropriate for the amount consumed.
17/10/2025: Very average. Empty place with too loud jazz music. Lots of plastic. It wants to give the impression of an upscale restaurant, but it's only average. Good pasta. Secondi not well prepared. Dried fish and tagliata are better in any trattoria. Zucchini burnt on the plate. Service nice, but sometimes disappeared for half an hour. Room for improvement.

I tried their brunch and it was truly exceptional. Specifically, I had the salmon and avocado bagel: the freshest ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors, accompanied by an excellent American coffee.
Beyond the deliciousness of the dishes, what's striking is the fabulous plating: an aesthetic attention to detail worthy of the best international bistros, demonstrating an extraordinary passion and attention to customer service.
The service is fast, dynamic, and very friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a cozy place with a touch of class for your lunch or brunch, this is the place.

07/07/2025: A birthday aperitif with a lot of food.
The appetizer served was really excellent. Pizzas of various flavors, fried croquettes, arancini and chips in abundance that we couldn't eat anymore and the birthday girl didn't even miss the cake. The proposed sparkling wine was also excellent. Attentive service. Ample parking nearby.

06/12/2025: I don't like to judge a business negatively based on a single experience, but as a consumer, I felt cheated. I discovered this lovely café and popped in for a quick takeout lunch. I ordered a classic jumbo toastie at 12:30. After a 15-minute wait, I received it for €8 (the receipt, which I read later, indicated it was a jumbo toastie with extra ingredients that weren't there). Cold slices of cooked ham and a measly slice of cheese. A pricey experience in terms of the unjustified wait (the café was nearly empty) and the quality/price ratio. I'll return to try breakfast or another meal and will update my review, but I really can't give it more than 2/5 stars.

20/08/2025: On August 15th, we stayed in four separate rooms. I noticed that the mini fridge didn't work, the air conditioning didn't work, and the children's pool wasn't working and was dirty. Terrible service; there was nothing at breakfast at 8:30. We left the property because they were doing some renovations.
10/07/2025: I was there for a wedding; the outdoor setting is beautiful, and the grounds are large and well-shaded. The lovely ceremony and the musical aperitif took place in the grounds. Despite the heat, I and everyone enjoyed the selection, with a wide selection of appetizers. For dinner, again outdoors, we moved toward the villa's entrance, while the music and post-dinner open bar were located in the air-conditioned indoor dining room. The dishes were delicious, especially the roast beef with baked potatoes. The selection of desserts and fruit was excellent. It was a beautiful day, despite the heat.

On the tree-lined avenue in front of the Grand Hotel.
Excellent aperitifs at prices you won't find anymore.
The appetizers are also good and plentiful.
We'll definitely be back.

18/02/2026: The Tonnarelli cacio e pepe was good, the cheesecake a little less so, excellent portions and very kind staff.
02/01/2026: After a busy day and a quick visit to Esselunga before heading back to Valtellina, we stopped at this restaurant on the top floor. There were a few people waiting, but the staff was busy trying to keep up with all the requests.
I ate well and was served in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this stop!
