30/05/2026: If you're looking for authentic Italian pizza right next to Bergamo's Orio al Serio airport, La Rustica is the absolute best. Personally, I think it's one of the best pizzas I've ever had! The menu is impressive – they have over 100 pizza varieties, so everyone will find something they like, although choosing isn't easy. I opted for the seafood version (frutti di mare) and it was an absolute masterpiece. The ingredients were super fresh, perfectly prepared, and the dough was perfect. Interestingly, before visiting, I checked other reviews online and I have to confirm what people are saying: it's a charming, family-run place where pizza arrives quickly (often literally within minutes of ordering), and the prices are incredibly fair considering the quality and proximity to the airport. A true, authentic Italian atmosphere without being pompous. If you're in the Bergamo area, you simply must visit. I highly recommend it, and I'll definitely be back next time! 🍕🦑

29/04/2026: An excellent location, ideal for ceremonies, but also for a lunch/dinner with friends. We chose it to celebrate a Confirmation and were delighted to find that all the dishes were homemade, locally sourced. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Dario, a friendly older man, who accompanied us on a visit to the various animals (goats, deer, donkeys, horses, chickens, and rabbits), telling us a little about their lives and sharing a few anecdotes. After a panoramic view of the sunset and a stop in the play area, we entered the restaurant, ready to enjoy a mix of appetizers (the salami and prosciutto were truly excellent, as were the rest), a second course of first courses (tagliatelle with nursery school sauce and homemade ravioli), polenta with rabbit, wild boar stew, and baked potatoes. To finish, a delicious fruit tart with a jam base, all truly homemade. For each course, we were offered several times a second or third serving. For the little ones, a smaller menu was available, featuring appetizers, ravioli, cutlet, and potatoes. Stella, the chef, truly pampered and spoiled us with expertly prepared dishes. You could taste all the love and passion the chef put into them. Jars of jams, pickles, and other homemade products are available for purchase. Open on weekends and by reservation. Highly recommended!

06/06/2026: What a wonderful discovery! After having known it many years ago as a pub, we discovered this place in a new guise, with extremely refined cuisine and professional yet friendly service. We chose the tasting menu to celebrate an anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by the care with which each dish was put together. Our very personal "best of" 1_ the polenta gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, mustard-flavored strawberry jam, and pickled strawberries... a combination we described as "crazy" because we loved it so much, even though it seemed daring (the touch of pickled strawberry pieces really boosted the flavor); 2_ the dessert... another mind-blowing dish: butter and sugar toast with raspberry sorbet and bread panna cotta with raspberry sauce. 09/06/2026: We had high expectations, and they weren't disappointed. The taragna blew me away, every bite an explosion of flavor. The gnocchi with chestnuts and apples were also delicious. The location is a little difficult to find, but it's a relatively easy ten-minute walk from the upper town. The bill was truly excellent for what was offered. The service was quick and friendly, with the waiters ready to help you with your choices.
