03/06/2026: Excellent! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was unbeatable—clean and well-air-conditioned—and the service was attentive and professional. They even brought us meringues as a complimentary touch, without us even asking. Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: The waiter was unprofessional; he bumped into our chair and didn't apologize. He didn't seem at all helpful when taking orders. We spent a whopping €58 (€40 + €18 on the bill) for a seafood appetizer platter for three people, which was actually just a taste. The 1-liter house wine was €14, but it tasted like a soft drink. The first courses were very salty, leaving me thirsty all night. I wouldn't go back.

28/03/2026: A lovely discovery! Welcoming, high quality, and courteous. We'll definitely return. The only problem is parking in the center, but that's a fixable issue. Great! We're back...absolutely the same opinion! I don't remember what we ate last time, but this time, too, with the Gourmantico menu, everything was truly delicious. The portions were just the right size, and the attention to preparation and presentation was top-notch. The service staff displayed the usual courtesy and kindness.

22/03/2026: Gourmand experience at Frosio, asking for an alternative to the meat dishes. No problem! The atmosphere is classic, welcoming, with a lovely outdoor garden in the main square of Almè. Service is attentive to detail (they even replaced a wet knife for us by pouring water), and the food is delicious, especially the appetizers and first courses. A truly enjoyable lunch, unhurried and very relaxing.

08/11/2025: We went for dinner this evening while walking by the lake with our puppy, and from the moment we walked in, they were super sweet with our dog and with us, very polite and super kind, attentive to everything. The food is good, the prices are very fair, but it has to be said, when a place makes you feel good, you deserve to be rewarded. It's absolutely worth it, a family-run restaurant with a lot of choices. They sell craft beer, homemade pasta, and many other things. I absolutely recommend it ❤️

05/07/2026: The best Neapolitan pizzeria! When they're closed for vacation, we can never find a good alternative. Plus, since I have an early dinner with the girls, they open at 6:30 pm, which makes a difference for us, as we dine so early. Top pizza, and their amaretti dessert is also excellent.

19/05/2026: We went to La Polisena to celebrate my birthday, and everything was truly beautiful. The location is stunning, meticulously maintained, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The spa is also wonderful, perfect for unwinding and enjoying a few hours of tranquility. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the day. The cuisine was truly impressive: I've been eating vegan practically forever, and rarely find such a wide selection and such carefully crafted and refined dishes. You can truly see the quality and attention to detail. An experience that will remain in our hearts, we'll definitely be back ❤️

16/05/2026: Restaurant Review Ambience: Classic farmhouse with a worthy view of the Bergamo hills. Beautiful, steep roads to get there. Food: After the tasting, I have to say I'm quite satisfied. The presentation was meticulous and the dishes were good, some more so than others. The farinata was very good and delicate. The onion broth was excellent, while the canederlo was forgettable, saved by the citrus notes of lemon. The carrot risotto was a surprise; the raspberry reduction was superfluous. The soy goulash was very good, and incredibly, they managed to make the texture seem like a real stew. The polenta was a bit salty. The azuki cake was delicious. Service: Initially, we were greeted and served by a lady who seemed cold and aloof; subsequently, the other waiters were kind and knowledgeable. Price: Not cheap, and perhaps I would revise some portions, especially for the appetizers, but overall, it was fair.

05/05/2026: I often stop here for lunch. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. The sandwiches are top-notch, and for me, who am lactose intolerant, being able to eat with peace of mind is truly a plus that not everyone has. Highly recommended ☺️

The quality of the food is truly excellent: each dish stands out for the freshness of the ingredients and the exquisite craftsmanship. Special praise goes to the lady behind the counter (I assume the owner), whose exquisite kindness and tangible passion for her work deserve solemn praise. It's rare to encounter such genuine and thoughtful professionalism. Congratulations!

27/06/2026: There are many excellent restaurants, but if I could give an extra ⭐, I'd give it to this one. The tables are set under old trees, everything is clean, well-kept, and tastefully decorated. After a warm welcome, we were presented with the menu and explained why many of the dishes are made with a special touch. We especially appreciated the children's specials. We arrived very hungry and recommend all visitors do the same. This way, you can fully enjoy the experience: the appetizers, first courses, and second courses left nothing to be desired. And there was even room for dessert. Everything was freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients and tasted delicious. Add to that a well-priced house wine: what more could you ask for? The prices are also reasonable, and we were only disappointed that the restaurant was closed for the rest of our stay. Thank you for a wonderfully unique evening.

09/06/2026: As a gelato student, I can honestly say that such a delicious hazelnut and such an intensely flavorful cream are truly unique. As for the fruit sorbets, what can I say? I felt like I was walking through raspberry and strawberry bushes, filling my mouth with fruit. Truly, congratulations.

07/06/2026: We came from Turin for a trip to Bergamo, and Gelato contadino is definitely a must-see. It was our second time, and I must say that some flavors were just as good as I remembered (the caramel is poetry, the cream a work of art), but others were even more exquisite than I could have imagined (I was moved by the exceptional quality of the ricotta!). This time we also tried the fruit flavors, which are always different because they're seasonal: mulberry and mara de bois... Needless to say, you'll be speechless. To those who say the service is slow, Vittorio's service is meticulous, attentive, and passionate: you can tell he loves his product and knows it inside out. Of course, if you're looking for a quick gelato while strolling, this isn't the experience for you. But if you're looking for a unique and unrepeatable gastronomic experience (precisely because gelato is unique and unrepeatable given its unique production methods), then you absolutely must come!

20/01/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance. I found the place to be really well done, rustic yet modern and bright. The menu is different from the usual Bergamo fare: you'll find fish or meat tartare, but also pasta and beans, pumpkin, and meat with Brussels sprouts—in short, not exactly everyday food. For those who know and appreciate wine, this is the place for you. Pleasant and professional service. Conclusion: Nice place Good food Fair price.

10/06/2026: While riding my motorcycle with my partner in the Taleggio Valley, I stopped at this restaurant, which I knew from previous visits. The restaurant is located next to the Sottochiesa provost church. It's a quaint establishment adorned with farm tools on the walls. It has two rooms: one on the ground floor, which also serves as a bar, and one upstairs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owner serves typical Berganasca dishes, well-cooked and generously portioned. Even pairing your meal with the house wine won't disappoint! Customers are always attentive, without being intrusive. Excellent value, highly recommended!
