15/11/2025: A truly unforgettable experience. We had been looking forward to visiting Da Vittorio for a long time, wondering if a three-star restaurant could live up to such high expectations. Not only were they met with ease — they were far, far exceeded. From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly welcomed by a large, attentive team. The setting is stunning: an elegant restaurant with beautiful décor, complemented during our visit by subtle and tasteful Christmas touches. Even the staff uniforms are impeccable — every detail is perfectly thought out. We were seated in a gorgeous dining room with beautifully set tables, and from that point on the experience only got better. We chose the 16-course menu and every single dish was, in one word, wow. The aperitif prepared at the table was a great start, followed by outstanding and sometimes surprising small bites. Portions are anything but small, and the menu is wonderfully varied, featuring house classics and specialties that truly shine. The level of service is exceptional. My dinner companion didn’t enjoy one of the courses (purely personal preference), and the hostess noticed immediately — without us even saying a word. She proactively offered an alternative dish on the spot. That kind of attention is rare and remarkable. The finale was just as impressive: during coffee, several dessert trolleys arrived at the table — filled with sweets, cookies, cakes, and teas. It was an overwhelming and delightful end to the evening. Yes, there is a price tag, but the experience is genuinely unforgettable. For the welcome, the team, the food, the drinks, and the overall atmosphere, it is absolutely worth it. A night to frame and remember. Thank you.

14/11/2025: This classic three-star hotel restaurant is representative of northern Italy. It's family-run and offers fine dining, but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is surprisingly bold, incorporating Japanese elements, but the flavors are well-balanced and delicious. The desserts are especially impressive, with a truly entertaining flow. It's just a little over an hour's drive from Milan, and I highly recommend it. While you're there, you'll want to stay at the hotel, which only has 10 rooms!

01/10/2025: Located on a hill with a large terrace offering beautiful views of the hills and plains, the well-maintained establishment sells traditional homemade products. The (worker's) menu offers a variety of choices and also includes a good selection of desserts and espresso corretto (I found the pasta dishes a bit too al dente, especially the casoncelli). I recommend it! Reservations are helpful to secure a spot on the terrace.

20/08/2025: We stumbled upon it somewhat by chance and were pleasantly surprised by the selection of dishes (unprecedented and delicious) and the professionalism and courtesy of the wait staff. The place is well-kept and clean. It's a perfect choice, and we'd recommend it to anyone passing through.

18/08/2025: We had received a gift card for our birthday and found a surprising place. Isacco Bistrot is refined without being overbearing; the staff is extremely kind and welcoming. And the food is truly special, especially the risottos. A must-try if you're in Clusone. We'll definitely be back.

25/10/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Villa Canton about a month ago. Since it also serves as a town hall, we chose to hold the civil ceremony there, organized with the help of the wedding planner recommended by the property. The villa is splendid, meticulously maintained, and has a truly magical atmosphere. The property was professional and available throughout the planning process. However, a few aspects left us a little perplexed, which is why our rating isn't fully 5 stars: 1- Seating during the ceremony: Out of approximately 100 guests, we were guaranteed 70 seats, but the photos show there were just over 40. Several guests—including elderly ones—were left standing, which created some discomfort and a sense of a "loss of style" during such an important moment. 2- Fans during the aperitif: During the aperitif, some guests felt hot, and the management independently turned on fans with water mist, informing us only after the event. In the end, we were charged an extra €300 for a service activated for one hour that we had neither requested nor approved. In this context, we would have expected the decision to be up to the couple. 3- Second course: some guests reported that the meat was tough and sinewy. We were unpleasantly shocked to learn that the management attributed this to our choice not to include sauces, which was not true: we had simply requested a gluten-free sauce to include all guests, given the bride's celiac disease. From a venue of this caliber, one would expect greater attention and an appropriate solution for specific dietary needs. Aside from these critical issues, we recognize that the overall organization and management of the day were excellent, and we would like to especially thank Andrea, the restaurant manager, who proved to be discreet, courteous, and always attentive. His professionalism is one of Villa Canton's true strengths. In short, a lovely place and an overall positive experience, with a few aspects that could be improved to make everything truly perfect.

13/11/2025: Simple and rustic, the dishes are delicious, based on local Bergamo cuisine, including the polenta and casoncelli (a type of pasta) that are truly delicious. Generous portions, and the staff are attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is a bit noisy, but we had a good time in the smaller dining room. I highly recommend it.

06/11/2025: I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday and had a very pleasant experience. The menu offers a selection of typical Bergamo dishes. The polenta with porcini mushrooms was truly excellent. The service was generally very quick and courteous; all the dishes arrived promptly, except for dessert, which took a bit too long. The restaurant's ambiance is truly charming, with a welcoming atmosphere. The tableware is very unique and refined. As for the price, I found it to be absolutely fair considering the quality and quantity of the food. Overall, I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy typical Bergamo dishes without spending a fortune.

13/10/2025: Very nice place...unfortunately, I don't know if it was very busy that day, but the service wasn't the best. They forgot we weren't even getting dessert, and the food wasn't there either. The rabbit had escaped from the plate, and the dessert was replaced with strawberry ice cream, which wasn't particularly special, without clearly letting us know. We hope it was just one unpleasant incident...we'll be back and hope to share a better, different experience.

19/09/2025: A truly SPECTACULAR experience. We had the appetizer platter and tartare, which were truly exceptional! Not to mention the first courses, the tagliatelle and paccheri, which were truly worth it. Then the desserts... a top-notch finish. The service was meticulous and attentive to detail, and above all, the staff was always attentive to the customer's needs and truly friendly. A truly unique experience, in a wonderful location. We highly recommend it and can't wait to return! P.S. An unforgettable anniversary!

28/09/2025: Da Jaga is a restaurant that surprises from the very first glance: the location is truly splendid, a tastefully curated environment adorned with works of art by Gaspare "Da Jaga" that give the place a unique, refined yet welcoming charm. Well-organized spaces, elegantly appointed rooms (also available for events and ceremonies), and an internal garden that becomes a peaceful haven under the stars in the summer. The cuisine—specializing in seafood—is excellent. Dishes are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, and the chef's expertise and passion are evident; the references to tradition are well-balanced by meticulous presentation and clean flavors. It's sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates. Hospitality is a strong point: the staff is attentive and friendly without being intrusive; you can sense that the welcome is designed to make guests feel at home, yet in an elegant way. Finally, the quality-price ratio is good. It's not a cheap place in the "low cost" sense, but for what it offers—the quality of the fish, the beauty of the location, the attentive service—the experience is worth the money.

02/12/2025: This is an absolutely charming traditional Bergamasque restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Po Valley. The food is home-style, authentic, and delicious (special mention for the casoncelli) at a very reasonable price. The service is efficient. However, towards the end of my meal, the young waiter, who was otherwise undoubtedly very hardworking and helpful, started asking me overly personal questions and engaging me in conversation about sensitive topics. His persistence was a bit inappropriate, in my opinion. I'm there for Italian cuisine and to enjoy a pleasant, relaxing time, not to debate with someone I don't know. Apart from that, it's a very good restaurant that I generally enjoyed.
