17/02/2026: Beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view of the lake. The dining room isn't very large, so reservations are recommended. Excellent cuisine, varied and light. The staff is very courteous, kind, and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Worth a return visit.

Luckily, there's bread... even the first course isn't overdone, and we probably won't be back.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the restaurant's owners, delightful, kind, and welcoming. The food and service were excellent, from appetizers to dessert. A pleasant place, rich in details and thoughtful touches, not to mention the view from the main window, which is definitely worth a mention. We will definitely find the opportunity to return to the area and visit them again. Recommended.

21/09/2025: It's difficult to write this posthumous review; I should start way back in 2002, when I first discovered the bar. In 2017, it was the first place I celebrated my graduation with friends, and well, what can I say... we'll miss you, Perry! Even before the spritzes, how about the Grog?!? I also remember the delicious "spicy" sandwich, not to mention the love with which you and your wife served cappuccinos accompanied by biscuits. A gesture as simple as it was unique, demonstrating your love and passion for your customers and your work. Best of luck for the rest of your lives, and thank you for everything!!! Not a regular customer, but a grateful one.

25/02/2026: We returned to this restaurant after a few years with high expectations, remembering excellent lunches featuring traditional dishes, and we were sorely disappointed. You found my friend's review too vague and lacking in detail. Comments were made on the spot by all the diners about each dish to the waiter, and my friend avoided going into too much detail in his review to avoid being rude to the chef, who, perhaps due to a lack of experience or willingness to experiment, served up dishes that were unpleasant to the palate. Therefore, I will comment on each course below. The welcome entrées tasted stale. Only one person ate the appetizer of radicchio, zabaglione, and balsamic vinegar, as the other diners deemed it inedible because it was too acidic. Nothing to say about the casoncelli, certainly the best dish of the meal, even if the shape wasn't as traditional as one would expect. The risotto with roe deer and berries was inedible due to the currants, which made the dish truly too acidic. It was sent back and we were served the leftover rice without the redcurrant sauce, which we were charged for. For our second course, we had the "olive oil beef with taragna polenta." First of all, it was braised, which should have been stated on the menu. Secondly, the sauce was very acidic this time too, completely covering the taragna flavor. I suspect the chef has a palate that isn't sensitive to acidity. Furthermore, we noticed that the potatoes were sent back to the kitchen from other tables. And it takes a lot to get potatoes wrong. Not to mention the inadequate portions. We pointed out the specific problem for each dish; my mother ate practically nothing, and no one apologized, claiming they were "strong flavors." No, strong flavors are one thing, acidic and inappropriate ones are another. At this point, we decided to skip dessert. With coffee, they brought us a shortbread cookie that wasn't sweet; it was bland and floury. Given this, we weren't even offered coffee or a liqueur. 189 euros for a lunch like this is truly unaffordable.

11/02/2026: After returning four times, it continues to be an excellent place to eat quality seafood without breaking the bank. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. It's still a must-try.

03/01/2026: A small, welcoming bar-restaurant with exceptional service and reliable staff: my mother fainted there (thankfully without serious consequences or cause), and the waiters and waitresses reacted instantly, calling emergency services, offering help and blankets, all while remaining reassuring, warm, and speaking excellent English. A huge thank you!!! Add to that generous, inexpensive, and delicious dishes, and you have the recipe for an excellent restaurant ;-)

03/03/2026: We got married at the Locanda on 12/9/25 and everything was fabulous... the location, the food and all the staff who made us feel at home from day one... our guests were all impressed and all complimented us.. we lived that day like a fairy tale.. a unique and unforgettable experience ❤️ we truly recommend it.. if we went back we would definitely make the same choice ❤️

25/01/2026: January 19, 2025, we went to see the Locanda for the first time. In the evening, fairy lights everywhere, the illuminated dome... it was an immediate "yes, definitely worth considering." And then we met Claudia, the soul of the Locanda. She made an immediate impression on us, chatting until 2 a.m. about how we imagined our wedding. We looked at other venues, but the warmth, sweetness, and hospitality we found here were nowhere else. We knew from the first glance on the main road leading to the Locanda that it would be our dream location, the place we cherished to say our big "I do." Claudia is wonderful, she accommodates all your wishes, helps you organize everything, is always available, and has an energy that is indescribable. The entire team is wonderful: Viviana and Chiara go out of their way to ensure the evening is a success, and Mario and Gigi create wonders in the kitchen! Thanks to them, we have created memories that will remain in our hearts forever. Almost a month later, I still get chills thinking about the whole evening. They made our day UNFORGETTABLE❤️ I would choose the Locanda a thousand times over, with my eyes closed. We can't wait to return and relive the emotions we felt. Absolutely recommended!
