The food creations by Massimo are exceptional, always paired with great Italian wines. He keeps guests entertained throughout the evening with his charm and passion. If you’re lucky, he may play the piano for you, making the experience even more memorable. The service is flawless, with a real eye for detail, and the beautiful décor filled with art adds to the special ambiance. This has become our favourite restaurant — and even though we live in France, we happily travel back just to visit Massimo, who after all these years feels like family to us♥️

10/08/2026: We had dinner tonight and it was a wonderful evening!! We arrived early and had an aperitif with their tapas upstairs while enjoying a wonderful sunset. Besides the phenomenal view and the extreme tranquility, the food was also out of this world. Afterwards, we went down to the pine forest for dinner, and there too, it was a wonderful experience. We ate deliciously and were served excellently! Thank you to the owners and staff for this wonderful evening! Congratulations, you are truly amazing!

16/07/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. The location, with its beautiful courtyard/outdoor area, lovingly designed with attention to detail and offering a lovely view, is simply fantastic. The service was top-notch: our server was attentive, present, and very helpful. The food was delicious and prepared with care. We dined here several times during our stay and will definitely return next time. Our last-minute reservation request via WhatsApp was always promptly and positively answered.

09/07/2026: An impromptu evening with a last-minute reservation. We arrived at Cipressa with a beautiful view of the sea. L'Oliva Pazza has limited seating but is very nice. Excellent service and food, thanks in part to Ester's professionalism and kindness. Overall, it's worth an evening. Highly recommended.

I propose... the Rifugio Colle Melosa... the authentic flavor of the Ligurian Alps, looking out over the woods... tradition and true mountain cuisine. We are in Pigna, in an authentic refuge where gastronomy blends with old peasant memories... and where true family hospitality is still found... and once at the table, you can enjoy delicious herb ravioli... goat meat with white beans... and many other traditional peasant dishes. Drinking... some excellent wines from these areas. And as you look around you will realize that you are immersed in the total tranquility of the Ligurian Alps Park... this refuge restaurant is much more than a simple mountain inn... in fact it is a place where you will find a sincere welcome, here after having taken a nice walk along the Alpine path... you finally arrive at this beautiful refuge... which is also accessible by road. And where you will find a warm and familiar atmosphere. Where the true aromas of this local cuisine will make you want to take a long break... among stuffed vegetables... the sardenaira... cabbage rolls, cheeses... cereal focaccias... and the "gran Pistau"... which is the ancient recipe of Buggio. Homemade gnocchi... also green or with gorgonzola or semolina... with walnut sauce... and there is also Ligurian-style rabbit... and game dishes... and finally homemade desserts and you can choose between... tarts... strudel... and apple pies... what else can I tell you?
