11/02/2026: Cassa Garba is a place where you can immerse yourself in pleasant relaxation. Excellent food, beautifully presented, generous portions, and a good selection of dishes. It's also excellent for lunch. The panoramic view complements it all. Perfect staff. The cured meats and cheese appetizer is wonderful, and for those who enjoy it, the raw fish platter.

A place where you can truly breathe in the atmosphere of times gone by, a corner of Liguria that has remained intact and of extraordinary beauty. The owner, courteous and friendly, welcomed us with a delicious table d'hôte. The dishes are carefully prepared, and the atmosphere is intimate and private. The wine list is extensive, but the house wine is excellent. Finally, the bill is surprisingly reasonable.

The food creations by Massimo are exceptional, always paired with great Italian wines. He keeps guests entertained throughout the evening with his charm and passion. If you’re lucky, he may play the piano for you, making the experience even more memorable. The service is flawless, with a real eye for detail, and the beautiful décor filled with art adds to the special ambiance. This has become our favourite restaurant — and even though we live in France, we happily travel back just to visit Massimo, who after all these years feels like family to us♥️

01/06/2026: In Bordighera Alta, where the setting itself invites you to slow down, La Gritta Bordigotta offers simple, measured seafood cuisine, without unnecessary complications. The menu isn't overwhelming: just a few dishes, well-focused. And for me, that's already a plus. I prefer a short, thoughtful menu to endless ones that often lose the cuisine's identity. I started with the raw fillet of the catch of the day: clean, fresh ingredients, showcased without overshadowing them. A seemingly simple dish, because when working with raw fish, the quality of the fish must speak for itself. And here it does. For my second course, I chose the mupa fillet, prepared with the same logic: linear cuisine, respect for the product, and clear flavors. There's no pursuit of special effect, but rather an attention to the ingredients that is visible and, above all, tasted in the quality of the dish. As a gourmet, I also treated myself to dessert: dark chocolate fondant with pistachio ice cream. A delicious, intense, yet balanced finish. A pleasant, yet not overpowering finish. For the pairing, I chose a Greco di Tufo DOCG – Cantine di Marzo dal 1647. A well-structured white wine from Campania, fresh and savory, with a pleasant mineral and citrus note. Cantine di Marzo recommends that this Greco be aged on its lees for at least seven months, which contributes to its complexity and body. With the raw fish and mupa, it proved to be a perfect pairing: upright enough to cleanse the palate, yet with enough substance to accompany the main course as well. Overall, a very pleasant experience: a few dishes, good ingredients, simple yet thoughtful cuisine. One of those tables where you don't feel like the fish is over-interpreted, but rather respected. And for me, when it comes to seafood, that's an important quality.

01/03/2026: The red pear is bold and juicy, thanks to its special and very tasty pinsas. The pear didn't stay on the tree but fell onto the plates, bringing color and flavor. I'd say this restaurant is perfectly ripe; its melting flesh is evident in the seafood gnocchi, and the stuffed and fried anchovies are delicious. The sweetness of the Nutella tart releases its fragrance when cut. The only thing to note are the bathrooms, which lack paper towels and no hand dryer. Thank you for the friendly and professional service. The red pear (not Williams) is a no-brainer after the first bite.

21/04/2026: For 32 years, whenever we're in San Bartolomeo or Cervo, we've been going to this bakery, first with our young children, now with us, the elderly ones. The quality is always excellent. In addition to the bread, pizza, and pastries, we've always had tons of focaccia (which no one else has like them) and bomboloni (my 33-year-old son still comes to San Bartolomeo a few days a year, mainly to try Rolfi focaccia and bomboloni again). The lady and the girls are always very kind. It's a shame that in recent years, it's been closed during my week in May.

02/04/2026: If you're looking for the aroma of old-fashioned bread and focaccia, this bakery is a must-visit. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in an irresistible aroma reminiscent of home and tradition.

14/06/2026: Pizza was nothing special and unfortunately quite burned. We had three different ones and all of them had black parts. The service was rather inattentive, we never got a replacement for a broken glass and had to ask for a baby high chair ourselves. The boss is not friendly at all, if you are noch the “right” guests she will just ignore you all night long. All in all no recommendation for that place

11/05/2026: Eating at Franco's is a truly sensory experience, combined with the richness of the place and his friendliness (as well as his artistic talent!). The menu is chosen by the chef based on your preferences (meat or fish), and the dishes are delicious and carefully prepared. A one-of-a-kind location, like stepping back in time... Not to be missed!

12/05/2026: Chinese restaurant serving only traditional cuisine, located in the center of Sanremo. The restaurant is small, with basic, bland decor and a friendly but completely unsympathetic waitress. The food is comparable to other restaurants in the same category, with generous portions. Prices are comparable to other similar establishments. Advance reservations are recommended if you're hosting a large group, as seating is limited. Parking is particularly difficult.

07/04/2026: A sure thing to come back to, but remember to book! A small restaurant nestled in the greenery of a small park in the center of Ospedaletti where you can eat excellent rostelle and ravioli, with an honorable mention for the borage ones!
