Italian cuisine just as we've always dreamed of it!
Home-style cooking with quality ingredients.
Special mention for the lasagna (absolutely divine!), the homemade mozzarella, and the charcuterie.
The tiramisu is exceptional, as is the lemon cake!
A must-visit, and a huge thank you again to the owner and his wife for their hospitality.
26/04/2026: Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the atmosphere, and of course, the food. The dishes were delicious, prepared with top-quality ingredients, and the service was truly attentive from beginning to end.
A big plus for the wines 🥰
The place is unique, warm, with an atmosphere where you immediately feel at ease. A wonderful discovery that I highly recommend.

17/05/2026: I cannot say enough about how amazing this place is. The proprietors are so kind. The hotel is quaint and centrally located. We were visiting with family in the area and they took good care of us and our family. The food is superb. My father is a chef in his own right and said the pork was the best he had ever tasted. The pasta is excellent. The wine is delicious. They have homemade wines and aperitif. You really don’t want to miss this place. I travel a lot and this place is on the top of my list to visit again. Very affordable. Great atmosphere. Lively and fun. Very clean.
17/05/2026: I went to Santo Spirito restaurant for a romantic dinner with my wife. It's a welcoming place, with knowledgeable, smiling staff who made us feel like we were among friends. The owners shared some stories about the restaurant's history with us. The food is excellent, with a blend of tradition and innovation. Highly recommended, as the price is in line with the quality of the food and service.

20/05/2026: We discovered this place while wandering around the village of Triora, and it really made a great impression. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, everything is very clean and well-kept, with friendly and helpful staff who immediately make you feel at ease.
The menu isn't very extensive, but precisely because of this, every dish seems prepared with care and quality. We particularly enjoyed the excellent first courses and the desserts, which rounded off the meal perfectly.
The prices are absolutely in line with the quality offered. A genuine place we'd gladly return to.

15/05/2026: While strolling through downtown San Remo, we decided to have dinner at a restaurant near the casino and were very pleased. From the very beginning, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and attentive service of the staff—the atmosphere is truly welcoming and cozy.
I'd also like to mention the food: the meat was excellently prepared, and we especially enjoyed the Argentine grill. The portions are quite large, and the prices are quite reasonable for the location and level of service. We were left with a very pleasant impression.
15/05/2026: One of the best steakhouses in Sanremo! Conveniently located near the casino, a welcoming atmosphere, and impeccable service. Exceptional Argentinean steak and generous portions.

26/05/2026: We were visiting Imperia and while looking for the cathedral, we were drawn by the aromas wafting from the kitchen at U Papa.
After the visit, we had lunch at this restaurant.
Tasty, light local cuisine.
Esmeralda, the owner, immediately makes you feel at ease and gives you the best recommendations.
The combination of Esmeralda and the cuisine is highly recommended.
If we were to return to Imperia, we would dine there again.

29/04/2026: We stopped at this restaurant almost by chance, on our way back from Provence. Then I remembered an episode of Borghese's *4 Ristoranti* and made the connection: it was indeed one of the winners along our route. And I must say, the win is more than deserved.
The restaurant is truly refined and welcoming, but what makes the difference are the owners: Chiara is an extraordinary hostess, attentive, kind, and always ready to make guests feel at ease. Even when faced with a small setback, she handled everything with great professionalism and ease.
The menu was simply fantastic. We chose the six-course tasting menu and it was a true journey of flavors from start to finish: carefully prepared, balanced, and never boring dishes. You can sense passion, research, and sheer quality in every offering.
A truly successful experience, one that stays in your memory and is definitely worth repeating.
P.S.: I highly recommend it, but keep in mind that it's also an experience in terms of time... it's not the right place if you're in a hurry.

01/06/2026: Since pancakes were advertised outside, I ordered one with Nutella. The pancakes were pre-made and really not recommended. On the plus side, they also included banana, strawberry, etc. (even though they weren't advertised). I also ordered a juice mix, which was also a pre-made mix... I was expecting more of a non-alcoholic cocktail. It didn't taste bad, though. The waitress didn't speak a word of English, even though she was very young... so meaningful communication was impossible.

Choose a table outside if the weather permits, because while the tables are on the street, traffic is very limited and you have a sea view.

When a warm welcome makes a dinner truly special.
Italo and Anna's cuisine is tasty and attentive. In a homey trattoria, rooted in traditional flavors, they always pay attention to those who make unique choices.
As a customer who doesn't eat animal products, I found a pleasant and well-cooked selection, topped off with a delicious homemade "stroscia" (typical dessert).
The kindness and friendliness of Italo's make it a must-visit.
Reserve, because the trattoria isn't huge and often crowded, and the two hosts take care of everything!
07/06/2026: A restaurant run with great passion, offering fantastic food and a sensational dessert, Dolce Mista – still amazing in 2026 :-) Simply superbly decorated and serving delicious local dishes. A delight even after many years. Reservations are recommended.

13/06/2026: A superb evening! The service was impeccable, the only slight drawback being the wait for the hot dishes. It's true that the wait was well worth it, as the dishes were very refined and expertly prepared. A special mention to the lady who spoke to us in French; it's always a pleasure.
12/06/2026: Amazing food, the trio starter was so good and the fried anchovies were perfect, not oily, so crisp and full of flavour. The owner Katie is a gem, vivacious and super friendly. And the deserts were sublime, perfectly crisp pate brise of the lemon tart, not too sweet, just the right amount of partners of the lemon and creaminess of the meringue. Will definitely go there again. Thank you Katie and Chef husband for a great meal.

07/06/2026: I've rarely received such an enthusiastic welcome from the entire team. Located in a village further up the valley after Ventimiglia.
Flawless from start to finish. Impeccable service. The signature dish: emulsified beetroot.
The €125 garden and sea menu is more than justified. I'll definitely be back.
