08/06/2025: Fuimos más lejos de los caminos trillados en Camogli, sin reserva, pero sentados con facilidad fuera en su pequeña cubierta. El menú es muy grande, algo para todos. No es fácil saber lo que es adecuado para los vegetarianos. Los platos eran increíbles, porción de buen tamaño y se sirve muy caliente. Un montón de mariscos en el risotto. La pasta se cocina al - dente. Muchas mesas tanto por dentro como por fuera. 3 comidas / 1 postre / 1 botella de vino / 1 botella de agua = Total € 85

15/11/2025: We had delicious pinsa at this charming establishment! This was the only place in town where we could find food even at 6:30 pm, even with a big appetite, and we weren't disappointed! The menu was extensive, the pinsa arrived relatively quickly, and the prices were reasonable. Pinsa is much easier to digest than pizza and much lighter on the stomach, making it a very pleasant evening meal because it's still filling. The service was friendly. I would eat here again!

31/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful place! We’d like to thank the team for their warm hospitality and the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The seafood was incredibly fresh, every dish was delicious, and the service was both friendly and fast. The restaurant is just a minute away from the apartment we were staying in — our only regret is finding this gem on the very last evening of our holiday! Highly recommended!
22/10/2025: Excellent dishes. Whether seafood, pizza, or the incredible spaghetti carbonara...simply fantastic! I'd love the recipe for the thick spaghetti. Very friendly service. We still managed to get a table despite the extremely busy crowd. Viva Liguria, viva Lavagna!!

26/09/2025: A simple, typically Italian trattoria where the local craftsmen take a long lunch break at lunchtime. It's simple, it's loud, and you're right in the middle of it all! The food is excellent (spaghetti aglio & olio and spaghetti vongole), prepared promptly by two people, which is also a good thing. The house wine is excellent; this is a place for simple, delicious food and drink.
21/09/2025: A panoramic restaurant in Sant'Andrea di Rovereto, between Chiavari and Rapallo. It boasts a panoramic view of the Tigullio Bay. Excellent fresh grilled fish, plentiful and promptly served. The meat was also tasty and tender. We dined in the front garden, and the owner was very kind and helpful!

The coffee is excellent, the staff exceptional and fast... then we want to talk about the freshly baked focaccia, and the sandwiches, at least before I leave, I'll go at least a couple of times.... congratulations to all of you.

14/07/2025: Situato in una stradina parallela al budello principale di Cogoleto questo ristorante, dall’esterno, non vi colpirà particolarmente con insegne luminescenti o cartelli pubblicitari ma, appena entrati, vi sentirete un po’ come a casa vostra. Non posso non partire dalla signora Ada, la vera storia di questo locale. Ci accoglie come fossimo degli abituè, amici di famiglia, vicini di casa. Ed è proprio così che ci si sente dopo qualche minuto passato insieme. La spiegazione dettagliata del menù non è la solita tiritera di piatti, ingredienti o elenco di materie prime … ogni piatto ci viene descritto insieme alla sua storia, i suoi aneddoti, la ricetta, il modo di come la signora Ada (o semplicemente Ada come lei vuole essere chiamata) lo cucina a casa sua. Questa accoglienza, così diversa da qualsiasi posto che ho frequentato in tutti questi anni, mi ha fatto innamorare di questo posto prima ancora di assaggiare una qualsiasi pietanza e ho già, sorprendentemente, l’acquolina in bocca. Siamo in quattro e ognuno di noi prende uno starter diverso. Il guazzetto di muscoli (cozze per i non Liguri), il Cenonno composto da una serie di piattini con assaggi mare e monti, caldi o freddi, polpo e patate, mentre io scelgo il piatto che avevo già visto sul loro sito web: code di gamberi avvolti nel lardo d’Arnad con stracciatella di burrata, semplicemente spaziali, cotti alla perfezione, con materie prime di altissima qualità, sono entrati di prepotenza nella mia personalissima top 10 di piatti più buoni mangiati nella mia vita ! Qui Ada, ci grazia della ricetta “casalinga” di questo piatto, semplicissima, rapidissima ma con ingredienti che devono essere necessariamente di ottima qualità ! Proseguiamo questa esperienza culinaria eccezionale, con i ravioli di burrata con pomodorini, basilico e acciughe di Cetara, delicatissimi, preparati alla perfezione e cotti al dente come piacciono a me. Finiamo con la “Tavolozza di dolci” tutti provenienti dalla Campania e Sicilia, uno più buono dell’altro. Io però ho scelto la delizia al limone tutta per me e ho fatto bene in quanto era veramente troppo golosa per condividerla con qualcuno. Di una cosa sono convinto adesso, il ristorante Nonno Cuoco è sicuramente la mia prima scelta a Cogoleto.
13/07/2025: Located on a narrow street parallel to the main street of Cogoleto, this restaurant may not particularly impress you from the outside with its neon signs or advertising, but as soon as you enter, you'll feel a little at home. I can't help but start with Signora Ada, the true story of this place. She welcomes us as if we were regulars, family friends, neighbors. And that's exactly how you feel after spending a few minutes together. The detailed explanation of the menu isn't the usual rigmarole of dishes, ingredients, or a list of raw materials... each dish is described to us along with its history, its anecdotes, the recipe, and the way Signora Ada (or simply Ada, as she prefers to be called) cooks it at home. This welcome, so different from any other place I've frequented in all these years, made me fall in love with this place before even tasting a single dish, and my mouth is already, surprisingly, watering. There are four of us, and we each choose a different starter. The mussel stew (mussels for non-Ligurians), the Cenonno, a series of small plates with hot and cold seafood and mountain appetizers, octopus, and potatoes, while I chose the dish I'd already seen on their website: shrimp tails wrapped in Arnad lard with burrata stracciatella. Simply out of this world, cooked to perfection, with the highest-quality ingredients, it's now firmly in my personal top 10 of the best dishes I've ever eaten! Ada, please share the "homemade" recipe for this dish—very simple, very quick, but with ingredients that must be top-quality! We continue this exceptional culinary experience with burrata ravioli with cherry tomatoes, basil, and Cetara anchovies—delicate, perfectly prepared, and cooked al dente, just the way I like them. We finish with the "Palette of Desserts," all sourced from Campania and Sicily, each one better than the last. I, however, chose the lemon delight all for myself, and I was right to do so, as it was truly too delicious to share. One thing I'm now convinced of: Nonno Cuoco is definitely my first choice in Cogoleto.

13/10/2025: On Sunday, without a reservation, we were greeted warmly. We ate wonderfully, truly traditional cuisine: the ravioli with a touch were excellent, the polenta with goat stew (a superb dish), the boiled meat served with salsa verde (very good) and Cremona mustard, and the desserts were perfect. The service was courteous and prompt. The prices were absolutely reasonable. Congratulations, we'll be back soon.

15/05/2025: Wir gehen vom Hafen 10 Minuten zum Lokal. Neben Pasta und Fleischgerichten werden auch Fischgerichte angeboten. Die Unterhaltung auf Englisch funktioniert prima. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant. Das Essen kann im Lokal oder an ein paar Tischen vor dem Lokal (autofreie Zone) eingenommen werden. Die Bestellung wird am Tisch aufgenommen. Das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal bedient uns unverzüglich und berät uns bei der Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke. Wir wählen eine Prosciutto-/Tomatenplatte als Vorspeise. Dazu einen Roséwein. Als Hauptgericht gibt es Tortellini in einer Pesto-/Nusssoße. Zum Nachtisch gibt Tiramisu und einen Espresso. Alles ist gekonnt zubereitet und schmeckt köstlich. Wir können das Lokal ausdrücklich empfehlen. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannten Verweilen. Danke an das Personal für den sehr guten Service.
01/05/2025: Tengo celíacos y al llegar al restaurante me informaron inmediatamente que solo usan harina de arroz. Pedí un curso de pescado que era absolutamente delicioso. El pescado estaba perfectamente cocinado. Mi hija, que es vegetariana, también disfrutó mucho de su comida. Además de la buena comida, el servicio también fue excelente.

14/10/2025: A very bad experience. We were seated at the very back of the terrace, at a rickety table, under broken decorations that were in danger of falling. The welcome was cold, almost contemptuous, and we can't help but think that this treatment was linked to our appearance. This feeling of exclusion and discrimination is unacceptable, especially in a place that is supposed to welcome everyone. Avoid.

27/11/2025: A classic bakery in the historic center, undoubtedly excellent quality. The cashier was incompatible with a customer-facing role (as noted in other reviews). When it was time to pay, I presented my card to the cashier and, out of curiosity, I looked at the large price list for the various products. From that moment on, the cashier began to constantly give me a look that was somewhere between contemptuous and amused. At first, I didn't believe it could be directed at me, since there was no reason for it. But seeing her insistence, I asked for clarification. The lady pretended nothing had happened, smiling slightly but continuing with the same look. Continuing to look at the price list, she continued the dramatic scene. At which point I asked a second time what the problem was, but the cashier, continuing her attitude, preferred not to answer. Perhaps because I paid with my card for a recent purchase? Perhaps because I dared to look at the price list? 😂 Who knows? It will remain a well-kept secret by the cashier with the ambiguous and contemptuous face 😂 Professionalism is required when dealing with the public, and one cannot allow oneself to be influenced by one's own absurd personal judgments. At least the request for clarification could have been answered (if there had been good faith) instead of continuing with this scene. Terrible. Among other things, simple bread with water costs €6.20 per kg. I'm not arguing with the quality, it's certainly excellent.
11/10/2025: We had a savory breakfast with Recco focaccia, excellent, Genoese focaccia, super greasy, divine, and private olive and sage bread, a sort of focaccia from Spezia. Everything was excellent, at a great price.
