01/09/2025: We’re are in Rapallo for a week, so many choices of places to eat! We chose Piaceri Della Vita, based on its menu and reviews. And what a great choice, staff - very friendly and helpful, atmosphere - sat outside, so great, the thunder and lightning just added to the great feeling we had, and the food just topped it all off. So if you’re here for few days consider or just go here, you won’t be disappointed, we weren’t.

21/08/2025: I'm a regular at the place now, but it's always a pleasure to have lunch or dinner. The hosts are incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions. Highly recommended.

29/07/2025: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY ME!!! At the beginning of our vacation, we were passing through these parts and checking out restaurants around, and we chose this place. For lunch, a FIFTEEN euro menu included a first course, a second course, and a side dish. Everything was good. For the first course, my wife and I had pasta amatriciana (short pasta, I don't remember the names) with tuna and zucchini. The second course was carpaccio with arugula and parmesan, and I had chicken alla diavola. She had salad for her side dish, and I had potatoes al verde (that is, boiled potatoes with parsley). The place is modest, but clean, and the quality ingredients are homemade.

15/05/2025: Wir gehen vom Hafen 10 Minuten zum Lokal. Neben Pasta und Fleischgerichten werden auch Fischgerichte angeboten. Die Unterhaltung auf Englisch funktioniert prima. Es ist ein kleines Restaurant. Das Essen kann im Lokal oder an ein paar Tischen vor dem Lokal (autofreie Zone) eingenommen werden. Die Bestellung wird am Tisch aufgenommen. Das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal bedient uns unverzüglich und berät uns bei der Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke. Wir wählen eine Prosciutto-/Tomatenplatte als Vorspeise. Dazu einen Roséwein. Als Hauptgericht gibt es Tortellini in einer Pesto-/Nusssoße. Zum Nachtisch gibt Tiramisu und einen Espresso. Alles ist gekonnt zubereitet und schmeckt köstlich. Wir können das Lokal ausdrücklich empfehlen. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum entspannten Verweilen. Danke an das Personal für den sehr guten Service.

01/05/2025: Tengo celíacos y al llegar al restaurante me informaron inmediatamente que solo usan harina de arroz. Pedí un curso de pescado que era absolutamente delicioso. El pescado estaba perfectamente cocinado. Mi hija, que es vegetariana, también disfrutó mucho de su comida. Además de la buena comida, el servicio también fue excelente.

06/07/2025: This bar and diner has been guaranteeing quality and hospitality on Piazza Rossetti for many years. Breakfasts are quick to serve and have a wide selection. Lunch offers hot and cold menus at a good price. It is a reference for a pleasant and restorative break!

24/06/2025: The location is fantastic, on the corner of Piazza Rossetti under the arcades, many seats available outside, spacious outdoor area, excellent cafeteria, excellent dry pastries and croissants, various cakes also made by them. The internal space is not as large as the outside but it still has plenty of seating, I was there during lunch time on a weekday, and it is full of office workers or people who work, it has a simple home-style menu, classic for a diner bar, pleasant I would say. The staff is friendly, helpful and quick, I went several times, at different times and days for work in the area, they are always smiling. Toilet always tidy and comfortable. What can I say, it's a good place for a lunch break. I haven't seen the aperitifs but I know they satisfy, so they say, and on Sundays they serve ice cream. You can get there by bus 31, which stops at Brignole in the station, or on the way back from the sea to the station. The stop is right on Piazza Rossetti in front of Piazzale Kennedy.

25/06/2025: It's a family restaurant, a simple place, an osteria from another time, and it's beautiful just like that!! Of course, for us Genoans it's an incredible museum, with relics that tell the story of a life...❤️💙 The food is simple, but very good! The fabulous ravioli and the excellent pesto!! The fried foods, (in my case, also vegetarian), are very good, light and quality.... We tried their artisanal tiramisu....what can I say... truly delicious! The prices are normal... We recommend it, we had a great time, it felt like we were among friends, family, and we will return soon to try everything else!!!!!!

12/05/2025: Locale accogliente dotato sia di sala interna che di giardino. Personale cortese ed attento, pronto a spiegare la struttura del piatto. Pane e pasta sono fatti in casa. Servizio veloce e preciso Davvero eccellenti i ravioli ripieni di pesce con pomodorini e scampetti. La spinta del limone si sente e rende il piatto fresco e bilanciato. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo

18/08/2025: If you love seafood, Ristorante Gino in Arenzano is highly recommended! For us, it's a must-visit when we're passing through Liguria: we've stopped here several times and have never been disappointed. Although the restaurant is located on the busy coastal road, its location is quite secluded and quiet enough: if you'd like to dine outside, the restaurant has a shaded outdoor area, protected by evergreen flowerbeds that muffle traffic noise and add to the ambiance. Furthermore, the outdoor area is divided into two sections: one side is the "trattoria" area (more rustic, with red and white checked tablecloths and a menu at trattoria prices) and the other side is the "restaurant" area (slightly more elegant, with white tablecloths and a more refined and delicious menu). The restaurant's interior is also charming and tastefully decorated. But what matters is the food, which is definitely top-notch and reasonably priced. Five stars, well deserved.

11/08/2025: Mediocre food. Poor staff, not exactly friendly. The outdoor terrace has no sign prohibiting smoking; the rude and impolite owner came to tell us to move out of the restaurant because we were smoking. Not recommended, even for families.

14/07/2025: Last night we celebrated a 60th anniversary with a rich and excellent buffet. The owner, Lorenzo, was very careful to ensure impeccable service, assisted by a diligent employee. The spacious and open location, while very beautiful, has the only drawback of overlooking a courtyard shared with other buildings (including residential ones), so it's advisable to keep music at a moderate volume and not go too late. I highly recommend it.

03/07/2025: La Serra is a delicatessen in the heart of the city, an unexpected place because it has a very welcoming terrace inside, where my husband and I decided to celebrate our wedding informally with children and friends. Excellent food, generous portions accompanied by cocktails and good wine. Lorenzo the very kind owner advised us on what to choose and I can say that his experience helped us a lot. All accompanied by the affection and laughter of friends! We had a great time!

03/07/2025: Updated 3/7/2025... It's a shame I didn't get to know this large, bright and elegant place before. I've often passed by these parts but, somehow, the road hid it from my sight. Martino, his brother and the entire "team" have a forty-year history! In this very long time, they have been able to captivate the palate of many customers (take a look at the awards hanging). The brother, unfortunately recently passed away, was able to pass on the art of pizza making to those present. The rest is all to be tasted. I can only confirm the goodness and quality of the dishes offered. Excellent pizza department. I don't think you can find better pizza than this (without fear of contradiction). Exceptional dough, richness of ingredients and goodness of the latter, cooking... Everything to compose a sort of work of art. You will be welcomed with extreme kindness and availability. You will end up being positively surprised by the bill. Excellent.

11/07/2025: Siamo tornati quattro mesi dopo un’ottima cena. Che delusione! Cosa è successo? Antipasto di tonno crudo minimale (50 g al massimo), poi orata al sale per due (circa 700 grammi al modico costo di 80€) di sapore salmastro, per finire dolcetti di modesta fattura. Una bottiglia di vino da 40€ che su internet si compra per 15€. Insomma circa 210€ per mangiar male. Cosa resta di positivo? La splendida vista sul golfo e su tutto Il ponente ligure. Amen.

22/05/2025: Casi siempre marcamos la opción "Vista Escénica" en los filtros TA, pero se nos permitió elegir durante nuestra visita a la ciudad costera de Camogli, Italia. A menudo nos preocupamos un poco por los restaurantes basados en hoteles que tememos que hayan terminado, con un precio que cubre sus gastos generales extensos, pero Il Doge valió la pena la pequeña prima. Los langostinos a la parrilla eran algunos de los mejores que habíamos probado - condimento encantador, cáscara principal cortésmente quitado, cocinado justo para estar tierno y jugoso. Tenía la pasta de mariscos que era delicioso. Una ventaja adicional era que su terraza tenía toldos y el clima pronosticaba algunas duchas que pasaban por allí. Así que pudimos sentarnos bajo su protección y disfrutar de nuestras vistas panorámicas a pesar de un toque de inclemencias del tiempo.
