20/04/2025: Nice restaurant on the square of Portofino. Kind and friendly staff. Prices in line with Portofino. Good dishes (especially the pesto). Recommended!

01/04/2025: 2 stars.. only for the view and the waiter (who was very nice). The kitchen doesn't even deserve one... It's a shame to offer cuisine like that in an exceptional place where we obviously expect to eat recipes typical of this region (tasteless and bland pesto alla genovese). Only the prices go hand in hand with the place.. too expensive..

24/09/2024: The strong point of this place is certainly the wine list: there are numerous labels that are not easy to find and also great classics from historical vintages. The menu is a little small but well cooked.

22/09/2024: A colleague booked for the Nautical show, the food was good, the wine recommended to us was very good, the service was excellent, the girl who served us was nice and polite.

22/03/2025: I had a really good time. It was a pleasure: excellent quality food, cared for, cooked and presented in a way that satisfied the sight and the palate. Perfect service, staff trained in explaining the dishes, kind and attentive in anticipating needs. Very nice and well-kept place. I breathed the pleasure of the owners' work to make customers feel at ease. I will come back and recommend it.

17/03/2025: The restaurant is typically 70s, even in the background music. Red and white checked tablecloths, even if made of paper, straw chairs and furnishings obtained with the art of recovery. Sincere and typically Roman cuisine, good food and generous portions, the only flaws are the wine in bulk which is not very good and the price is definitely too high for the environment and the type of popular cuisine. Still a place worth a visit.

22/02/2025: Unique negative experience. Right from the start we were given little consideration and treated rudely by the owner. The service is embarrassing. Very long waits between one dish and another, wine arriving after finishing eating and no possibility of asking for coffee at the end because at 11pm all the staff were busy dining alongside us. There were 16 of us: many girls only took a plate or a pinsa with a cost of between 8 and 14 euros. Others had two courses for a total that hardly exceeded 30 euros each. The birthday girl paid for all the bottles (4 bottles + 2 very cheap house jugs and for 112 euros!!!). Final bill? 30 euros each. The icing on the cake is that we stop for 4 coffees and 4 bitters: the owner outside smoking immediately points out that there were an additional 20 euros to pay. All without having even seen the receipt. It's a shame that I didn't realize the theft until later. Never had an experience like this. Stay away from this place.

22/03/2025: La cerveza buenísima. El apertivo, perfecto. El servicio, pésimo. Puedes estar 30 minutos esperando a que el borde del camarero nos tome nota. Y para nada es la primera vez. Lo mejor, no volver hasta que el propietario organice mejor al sevicil

03/03/2025: MAI PIU'! Sempre adorato questo storico locale ma abbiamo avuto una cocente delusione poche settimane fa. Andiamo per un gelato, al banco non c'era nessuno, solo una signora nel banco di fronte che dispiaciuta che mentre stava servendo continua a ripetere che sarebbe arrivata subito da noi. Dopo un po' chiedo al signore cassa, che ci stava guardando nella più totale indifferenza, se potevamo essere serviti. Finalmente manda da noi una signora al banco di fronte al bar che, tra l'altro, in quel momento non aveva clienti. Morale: gelato pessimo, immangiabile che abbiamo buttato nel primo cestino per strada e, come se non bastasse, nel resto, che fortunatamente mio marito ha controllato, MANCAVANO 5 euro...

16/02/2025: Conoscevo questa trattoria negli 80. 90 e oggi e' stata una totale delusioni pesce scadente e per fino le bevande non di qualità quindi qualità e prezz o non adeguati non consigliato

13/03/2025: My go to place for cappuccino and delicious croissants when in historic town in Genova. One of the places where you can drink your cappucino like a Genovian, dipping in foccacia. Their croissants are amazing.

08/01/2025: Dopo aver ordinato su Just eat, si presenta il ragazzo delle consegne con la pizza e in modo ESTREMAMENTE arrogante, maleducato ed intimidatorio dice "comunque la pizzeria è a Carignano e chiude alle 22, la prossima volta sceglitene una in zona". Preciso che da Google maps sono SEI minuti di strada. Oltre al fatto che palesemente dimostrano limiti nell'utilizzo di Just eat, non sapendo impostare limiti di orario, di distanza, o non sapendo rifiutare un ordine, l'orario di chiusura che indicano su Google è 23, non 22. Consiglio di stare ben lontani da una pizzeria che offre un trattamento del genere ai propri clienti e speriamo che lo possano offrire ancora per poco.

26/01/2025: I tried to leave a review on Tripadvisor, but I don't know if I succeeded, so I'll try here too... Delicious pizzas (even if there are too many on the menu and you feel confused before choosing), delicious cuisine, we tried both. Unfortunately we had to wait a bit but the service was very attentive. The girl with the tattoo on her forehead came to make sure everything was fine, which wasn't a given in Genoa, in fact she had a Tuscan or Roman accent, very pretty and friendly. Extra points for the desserts and beer, we will be back to try all the desserts, pistachio cheesecake? I would eat a whole one. I recommend the truly excellent pinsas. We would like to live closer to come more often. If you have the chance go there.

04/04/2025: I was there for dinner. good and well prepared dishes, service with some gaps, shame about the ventilation of the kitchen not being very effective. we came out smelling of a fryer. definitely a temporary problem that will be resolved in a short time!

01/03/2025: Young, fresh and lively tavern. Polite and friendly staff. Excellent food from starters to main courses. More than fair price for an excellent quality-price ratio! Well done!!! PS: we had dinner on 28/02 without a reservation and we were welcomed without difficulty.

28/02/2025: Oggi a pranzo con amici , scelto alla carta menù pesce..soute' di calamari e alici impanate come antipasto, ravioli al branzino con sugo di orata e taglierini al sugo di gamberi come primo e fritto misto e tonno come secondo...non potevamo rinunciare ai dolci.. tiramisù e torta di mele...tutto squisito..(tonno superlativo)....come dire .. soddisfatti in tutto..anche della cortesia del personale...lo consiglio..unica pecca ..trovare il locale... molto nascosto....bravi continuate così...
