18/02/2026: Excellent wine shop, lovely welcome, and I ate elephant ear, which you can't find anywhere else anymore.

14/12/2025: I went for a birthday meal in November, filled with locals it is not a tourist type restaurant. The food was fantastic we shared a very large steak, on the table next to us they had bone marrow straight from the bone. The chef's know their way around meat. I had a great time, there was even an entertainer singing Italian classics. It was dark and in late November when we went so there wasn't much of a view to take in, but given it's prominence on a hillside I expect on lighter evenings that it has a tremendous view and some outside seating. I highly recommend, it is a little pricey but as the food was excellent I think the cost is justified. I have no problem in recommending it

08/12/2025: Why so many... Friday, November 28th, dinner in a very welcoming, small, and intimate restaurant with stone walls, typical of Genoa's alleys. We spent €56 including the €20 discount on the Fork. We had two appetizers, two first courses, two desserts, and a bottle of water. I'd say the price was right. The appetizer was a generous and delicious steak tartare, and the octopus salad. Perhaps the olives, a bit too much, covered the flavor of the octopus. The first course was pansotti and spaghetti with seafood sauce and arugula, delicious, and the dessert was delicious. Why...? Negative comments about the service? As far as I'm concerned, it was fast enough, attentive, helpful, and I'd add friendly. Congratulations, in fact. We're in Genoa, so if you're expecting the holidays, it's better to go somewhere else.

22/02/2026: A small trattoria in a narrow alley in the historic center. If you're looking for classic Genoese cuisine, you can't go wrong here. A no-frills atmosphere. Friendly service. Dishes to be savored, not admired.

20/02/2026: Personally, I wasn't thrilled. The food wasn't bad, but there wasn't a single dish that stood out to me, leaving a vivid, clear memory. Furthermore, the staff was a bit awkward (which is understandable; perhaps they were inexperienced).

02/12/2025: Delicious pizza in an ideal location, right on the street and promenade of Santa Margherita. The warm and attentive service creates a pleasant atmosphere, and the food is served surprisingly quickly.

09/11/2025: A historic osteria in Sestri Ponente. It offers traditional Genoese dishes, with excellent value. Today we enjoyed the borage ravioli with a delicious slow-cooked ragù and the spinach tart. The kindness and attentiveness of the manager and the waitress Carola complete the experience. Highly recommended.

22/10/2025: A small, prix fixe restaurant with a daily fixed-price menu and a moderate selection of dishes. I appreciate the fact that you can finish with fruit instead of the usual dessert. Friendly owner, quick service.

12/12/2025: It's a pretty good hotel for the price. Parking is €15 per car, and there's electric charging, but it's very slow. The breakfast is good, with a good selection, as for Italy. There's even a small gym. Special thanks to the girl at reception, who speaks the local language. Unfortunately, I didn't ask her name.

06/12/2025: Excellent beachfront hotel with comfortable rooms and a generous and varied breakfast. Very kind and helpful staff. The only downside is the shower tub, which leaks when you shower and floods the bathroom.

09/09/2025: Da Monica: A great find in Cicagna! I was passing through Cicagna and, looking for a place to eat, I stumbled upon this diner. I was a little confused at first, because at the entrance I saw a counter selling fresh pasta. But once I found the right entrance, I discovered the true heart of the place. I tried the ravioli with meat sauce and I must say the quality was truly excellent. The ravioli were incredibly fresh, the meat sauce flavorful, and the portions were generous. My only small complaint, which doesn't affect my overall rating, concerns the oil, which, in my opinion, wasn't up to par with the deliciousness of the ravioli. The service was very quick, and my dish was served piping hot in no time. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The only thing that could be improved is the table layout, which is a bit too close together. Overall, my rating is absolutely positive. The experience was excellent and I intend to return, perhaps with more time, to try the full menu that intrigued me.

06/09/2025: We stopped by chance and were more than satisfied, the staff were kind and attentive to customers, the food was excellent, the beer selection was good, the music was a little loud but not annoying, we were very satisfied.

17/08/2025: A small place, very cute and welcoming inside. If you're going with more than two people, it's best to book. To accommodate more guests, there's a street-facing terrace, with a veranda in the winter. They've added gluten-free options to the menu and offer gluten-free beer, which is great for us celiacs. The prices aren't cheap, but it's worth a try.

27/12/2025: The standard has dropped...portions are no longer generous, and the food, besides not being well prepared, is of fairly poor quality. Too bad...the focaccia and farinata are good, but everything else needs to be revisited, including the service.
