22/12/2025: The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, a true asset to this place, which is also very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, however, the food (to my taste, mind you) almost seems like an imitation of Apulian cuisine. I had a panzerotto with sausage and turnip tops, which was practically empty. It felt like I was eating Apulian food in London (so I wasn't particularly demanding). The idea is certainly excellent, but there's room for improvement. Furthermore, the decision not to accept meal vouchers for lunch on Saturdays seems rather odd. I wonder: what if someone works on Saturdays?
15/12/2025: A lovely place serving Apulian specialties, from cheeses and cured meats to panzerotti and craft beers. Quick service and a friendly waitress. During off-season dining is also possible outside. However, some dishes are missing because the place will soon close and be taken over by Chinese owners.

29/01/2026: ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE! We waited outside for OVER AN HOUR because they don't take reservations, and they let people pass us by alone because they were putting them at a table with others. They're only open for lunch and only Monday to Friday. Plus, many items on the menu have sold out in the meantime. It's truly frustrating, and then they pass off toast with ragù as Tuscan crostini.

25/12/2025: Christmas lunch: all the courses were excellent, the service was excellent, and the price was excellent. We spent €60 per person for appetizers, two first courses, four second courses, sorbet, dessert, fresh/dried fruit, and coffee. Water and wine were also included. I know they have good prices during the week, too, and the food is excellent.

11/10/2025: I didn't stay, just had lunch. The food was good, but not too pretentious.
23/09/2025: Four of us arrived at closing time. They graciously offered us a table and we enjoyed exquisite dishes unlike anything we've ever had in Italy. The pasta... impressive, and the veal with boletus mushrooms... speechless. Elaborate desserts, good wine, and even better coffee.
Congratulations to the owners and their lucky customers.

12/10/2025: What can I say?...doing a job where I travel every corner of the region...from the most remote mountaintop spot to the busiest city center...I can definitely tell you that finding places like this where the friendly service, the quality of the food, and the value for money are paramount...with the authenticity and simplicity of the service making the taste of the food even more enjoyable and the overall experience that can only leave you wanting to RETURN!...I just want to say.....
THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF.
I hope you are an example to all those places where the customer is just a number...
A habit that has now become too annoying for those who know the value of the word PROFESSIONALISM!

12/03/2026: We asked at very short notice - half an hour - for them to feed a school group of 31. There was no problem at all, the food was excellent, really well organised and tasted great. Morgana was so friendly and helpful to us. In face, it was so good that we cancelled what we had organised for the following night and went back.

08/12/2025: Very welcoming place, I preferred eating rather than taking photos of the dishes to fully enjoy the time they put into preparing the dish. Yes, to the untrained eye, it may seem like a long wait, but then you realize that every ingredient has been carefully crafted for a harmonious flavor that delights the palate from start to finish. I recommend the pistachio pesto pasta or, if you happen to have it, the carbonara. The menu isn't always repetitive but follows the seasons a bit; they don't have mushrooms all year round here. 👍🏻 Homemade desserts, now it's apple season, and apple pie is the best. Don't come in a rush, don't change the dishes to complain.
But take their advice and let them work. Enjoy your meal.

31/12/2025: Christmas dinner for more than 50 people. A cold appetizer consisting of fish salad that was certainly not fresh but from an industrial can, and two slices of bread. The two first courses were meat ravioli and fish rice, served on the same plate. The second course was a slice of roast beef. The waitress was annoyed that we had a stroller with a sleeping baby in the middle of the tables, and the request at the time of the bill was 55 euros instead of 50 as we had agreed. Even 50 euros would have been excessive considering how much we didn't eat. In my opinion, it was worthy of a nightmare kitchen.
16/11/2025: I got here at 7:30 PM. I waited two hours to eat, and they woke up at 9 AM.
Plus, my son's pizza was cut by hand.
What a shame!!

21/02/2026: The waiters were kind but very disorganized (among other things, at the end of the meal I went to get my coffee at the counter because it hadn't arrived). The dining room is nice and large, but it's a shame that to accommodate so many people, the tables are so close together that you can't walk between them.
26/01/2026: A very pleasant evening spent with the music of TRILLI.
The food wasn't bad, it was just a shame I found a hair in the Montanara dough. I promptly took the dish to the owner's daughter (I presume), who apologized for the inconvenience.
When we got the bill, given the fixed menus: Genovese menu €30 - pizza menu €20, I found myself paying a supplement of €15.50 for water, coffee, and service charges, for a total of €65.50. The flyers should be more clear and more attentive to customers who are disgusted by one of your dishes.
Adding insult to injury!

02/01/2026: I don't often give five stars, but this time I'm happy to do so. It may not be the most beautiful or best-equipped hotel you'll ever stay at, but Massimo's hospitality and kindness are inspiring! He treated us like we were great friends from the first moment we stepped foot in his hotel. It's amazing to see how much he loves his job.
18/10/2025: The hotel's strong points are its quiet location, spacious rooms, its location in the historic center, which allows you to walk to the beach, and a varied breakfast included (sweet, savory, and drinks).
Independence thanks to the keys provided.
The train station is a 10-minute walk away, and the bike path to Varazze is nearby.

08/03/2026: This is the most tender pizza I've ever eaten! Those rare occasions when the dough literally melts in your mouth. It seems made with love. Thank you so much for this gastronomic delight. After this pizza, "my world will never be the same."
