15/08/2024: Typical Ligurian welcome! Booked at 1pm unfortunately I cancel an hour before and I am rudely told that they will take down my number because you can't have an unexpected event an hour before... Terrible... you are really terrible... congratulations!

05/08/2024: I find it absurd that in 2024 the possibility of paying separately will be denied, with the excuse that this cannot be done, even if what cannot be done is precisely denying the possibility of separate accounts. Obviously an experience that will not be repeated due to the mockery.

23/07/2024: One of my favorite bars! If not the best! You certainly won't find better in Carignano, the girls are very sweet and kind. They always have a smile on their faces and that helps a lot, I often stop just for a coffee and I'm always happy to have a chat with them. Excellent quality pastries and at a more than honest price, like the coffee which still maintains its cost of €1, a characteristic that is difficult to find nowadays... hahaha fantastic sandwiches, good juices and made with real oranges, not watered down like in most bars. Only positive notes I would say, plus the place is spacious and very nice, they also have a very comfortable outdoor terrace.

18/06/2024: Overall, the service leaves a little to be desired. The lady is very busy, the rest of the staff is a bit lazy. The customers are not always very polite but this obviously does not depend on the owners or the staff

02/06/2024: Siamo stati oggi x un compleanno in famiglia 13 adulti e 3 bambini.. siamo stati accolti con tanta gentilezza e ottimi antipasti… due squisiti primi.. e tanta carne alla brace! Con patate formaggi … al conto ci hanno offerto la bottiglia di spumante richiesta da noi x il Brindisi .. è omaggiato i tre bambini e l’amaro finale ..una super coccola!! Grazie a presto

28/07/2024: In the lower Val Polcevera, in the Trasta area, this trattoria (in Genoese "dai Giuanelli") has been present since time immemorial. From the road that leads to Trasta Alta, across a small bridge that crosses the stream of the same name you reach this place, equipped with car parking (some private parking spaces are also on the street, marked by the reserved parking sign). In a typically Ligurian environment with a non-lavish appearance, it is possible to taste a variety of Ligurian cuisine dishes, starting from the appetizers, whose queen is the unmissable Russian salad, passing through the homemade ravioli, whose taste is distinguishes the "persa" (marjoram); to follow, among the second courses the Genoese top stands out and, among the desserts, tasting tiramisu is a must. The prices are within everyone's reach (you can find the price list online). Too bad it's only open for lunch! Unbeatable quality/price ratio!

04/09/2024: Sorry will be long story, please read completey with passion. Really annoying, am so angry. Arriving at still quite empty restaurant at shortly after 1930h me and son ordered 1 Antipasto (Cozze Marinara) but forgot to mention extra plate to share it and 2 secondi. He decided for Filetto plus fried patate while I had been looking forward already almost whole day for Fritto Di Mare Misto and chose so. About 2005h Antipasto and 1 of secondi, his filet, were delivered one directly after other. Willingly to savour and appreciate we enjoyed delicious mussels while son had to split attention on both. Btw filet was too well done so less tender as possible but did not comment there on that. Realized too late that were'nt asked what doneness but minor concern. Time passed and my so desired seafood didn't appear like was fogotten. Asked estimated 3 times politely to the waitress, a seemingly 15yo woman unable to english communication and heard repeatedly "appunto" and "arriva". But instead of caring and serving she went increasingly on edge like we were the ones harassing her, treating us impolite and brusque. After 1h was passed and remains of mussels and filet had been cleared away long since I more strongly insisted on my order, later asking for bill without Fritto if not served within now minutes because heading for appointment at 2100h. Allowed to enjoy a restaurant meal without open end? Whithin 1 and 1/2 hour? Okay, better have the whole night time... Impossible to decide, which way different her and our understanding (or interpretation) of "arriva" was that moment (bill or food) but besides she wasn't ready to serve the client patiently and zealously (with love?) she neither searched help by patrone, more expierienced colleagues or chef/kitchen but, as we got to learn, left us in obscurity. Why didn't anybody else come? Come support her. Again: her fault is the minor for she appears a beginner and I don't want to remember all of my own rookie mistakes. The system failed by leaving her alone and not providing her to deliver food ordered over 1h ago! Leaving guest wait for over that time after ordering while restaurant in the beginning was almost empty plus one 2nd meal was delivered same time as antipasto must not be so considering prices and location. Left after +/- 90min without fried seafood paying 53€. Would give it exactly 1 more try.
