01/09/2025: We arrived at 12:15 just to be told they open at 12:30, not being offered to look at the menu in the meantime or to sit down somewhere to wait (it was empty). The place is obviously charming, food was ok, very small portions for the price but ok given the location, however the coperto 5€ per person sounds like a scam for a simple trattoria without even proper tablecloths…not to mention there is lots of room for improvement in the service and the welcome.
24/08/2025: I'd like to give it 100 stars, but I can't! Last night I had dinner with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary, and thanks to the wonderful evening, the location, and the dinner, we had a wonderful evening! Excellent food and wine, very fresh fish, and friendly staff. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews that kept us from booking! Some people should do what they know how to do, not keyboard food critics, who probably don't know how to cook a hard-boiled egg! Thank you so much to the owner and our waiter for their kindness! 01/02/2026: Big surprise. Late Friday evening, we were looking for the nearest place to eat. We ordered a pesto pizza and house wine. It turned out to be a great choice. After leaving, I checked the restaurant's rating on Google and was very surprised to find only a 3.9. I've been to restaurants with 4.7 and 4.9 ratings since, and the food wasn't any better than this one.
04/01/2026: For a quick and varied lunch break, this is the place to be. A good ethnic-style restaurant where you can eat well and affordably.

06/11/2025: Last night we had dinner with some quality friends.
I was immediately struck by Monica's warm welcome, which, after seating us, elegantly guided us through the selection of a good wine.
The decor is comfortable yet refined. The vintage stools near the counter add a touch of class that doesn't go unnoticed.
For those of us who are truffle lovers, you can see from the photos that the quantity is remarkable.
I will definitely be back.

28/02/2026: Lovely and authentic family hotel in the historic part of Chiavari. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the pool area is nice and the restaurant has some good local options. The staff is of high level of hospitality, shoutout to Rebecca and Aaron. I was there almost an year ago in May 2025 but keep recalling the nice stay and good time I had in Monte Rossa.
05/12/2025: First and foremost, the wonderful staff deserves a mention. Everyone was attentive to the guests' well-being and very friendly. We stayed in a newly renovated room, which, while not very large, was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was wonderful, and the bathroom was also very nice. The hotel restaurant offers excellent food, and the breakfast buffet is very appealing and well-stocked, even in the off-season. We would definitely choose this hotel again in Chiavari.

Excellent pizzas, good beers, as are the other menu options, and a truly hospitable atmosphere and staff.

14/10/2025: Unfortunately, there was an event going on, and someone in attendance kept a door open, and we were freezing! But everything was excellent!
13/10/2025: Unfortunately, there was only one fish from aquaculture. Given the restaurant's location by the sea, we would have expected a selection of two or three freshly caught fish. A sea bream from aquaculture was a disappointment for a restaurant with such a great atmosphere.

18/10/2025: Yesterday morning my current carer bought a jar of seafood ragù and a jar of pesto alla genovese from the legendary Trofiaio in Piazza Colombo 10 and 12 reds (watch out for the pen!): one better than the other, despite what some say on this website who vehemently maintain that the pesto from Trofiaio is prepared with parsley instead of basil, as required by the specifications for pesto alla genovese DOP.
17/10/2025: I discovered this shop a year ago and I'm very happy with it, lots of choice, everything fresh and of good quality at an unbeatable price.

22/02/2026: This afternoon we stopped by for ice cream. The sales assistant was very kind, but there was one small detail I noticed: she had an earpiece in her ear, probably a phone. I looked at the other girls to see if they had one too, thinking maybe it was for communication. But they had nothing. Now I'm wondering, is it allowed to have earphones in an ice cream shop? Where's the professionalism? These are small details that unfortunately make all the difference in professionalism. I advise this girl not to use technology because it doesn't look good. Otherwise, the ice cream is excellent. I recommend it.

25/10/2025: A pleasant surprise on my return from Liguria. Excellent customer service and great friendliness. Ample parking nearby. Great variety of pizzas and more. A must-visit from now on, especially since I'd love to visit Masone.
04/10/2025: Very thin and crispy pizza, just the way I like it, with a good selection of ingredients. The place isn't huge but very welcoming. They didn't have all the desserts on the menu, but that's no big deal because the house cake (my third choice) was truly excellent. The staff was friendly and polite; we hadn't booked, but they managed to find us a table in about 20 minutes. Great price! They might still have some room for improvement in terms of service, but they're definitely on the right track. We'll definitely be back.

03/01/2026: We had lunch at this trattoria on Christmas Day, and honestly, we're not sure which restaurant the negative review we read refers to! Everything was excellent: the food was excellent and plentiful, the service attentive and well-organized, even with all the dishes on the menu. A special day made even more enjoyable by a truly impeccable experience.
