28/05/2025: Very rustic tavern with a fun and friendly atmosphere. There are typical Ligurian dishes, from pasta with pesto to farinata, passing through all their typical cakes and fried foods. Also ideal for a quick meal before or during a walk in the nearby shopping streets

27/05/2025: Great place to eat typical food without too many pretensions. We tried the farinata, the chard pie and the pasta with pesto, all good. Unfortunately, the tomato rice pie was very disappointing. Small and very informal place. We had lunch outside, where they have just 3 / 4 tables right on the street. Friendly staff and fairly fast service.

09/06/2025: We visited the restaurant today and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. We had to wait 80 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant was only half full. The fish was really delicious. The tuna with sesame was also a real change. Unfortunately, there were practically no side dishes to go with the fish, even though it was listed on the menu, for example, with the fish of the day with mixed vegetables. However, this was manageable and hidden under the fish. The ambiance is very nice and the service really friendly. However, at the end, we were asked if we wanted some free alcohol. That's not what I'm used to. They either put something in front of us or they don't. The table next to us wasn't asked; they just offered us something. Due to the lack of side dishes, the value for money isn't really good for me. Two potatoes would have been enough for me with the fish. Since we ate late in the evening, it wasn't that big a deal. I wouldn't eat here for lunch, as the portions are too small, as described, and the price is simply not worth it.

07/06/2025: We ate at Verve years ago, twice. We've been back twice in a row now. The owner speaks all major languages ​​and knows the world. He's a wonderful host. The rest of the staff is very friendly and welcoming, yet highly professional. The food is refined, straightforward, and delicious. Excellent ingredients are perfectly prepared. The wine selection covers Italy's best regions. We'll be back.

02/06/2025: Serata molto piacevole abbiamo preferito menù a base di pesce ed era tutto molto buono , specie il cappon magro , ombrina e linguine . Molto bene anche il servizio Consigliato !!!

02/06/2025: Location accogliente in complesso silenzioso. I posti a sedere fuori sono immersi in aroma di gelsomino. Servizio professionale e sorridente. Menù ricco da un gusto davvero delizioso e ricercato. Super consigliato

06/06/2025: Highly recommended. We missed the ferry and arrived just before 10 p.m., quite exhausted and drenched in sweaty motorcycle gear. Very friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen stayed open extra late just for the two of us. The food was good and plentiful. Very tasty. The restaurant also went out of its way to accommodate us, even though it was already closing time. Highly recommended.

04/06/2025: I checked in on April 23rd. The hotel has an excellent location by the Genoa port and is very close to the metro station. The room was clean, and the breakfast was great. The hotel offers paid parking within the same building. One area for improvement is that the signage and operation of the parking entrance were confused somehow.

11/05/2025: It's been a long time since we had an aperitif with mum and I must say that it left us more than satisfied; the barman Simone, as well as super welcoming and friendly, very professional and classy...! A recognition also to the always very kind staff.

30/04/2025: We ate well, an old-fashioned trattoria, where we pay more attention to the dishes than to the environment, very, very simple. Prices (now) normal. The only real flaw is the parking on the street, very very limited but there is a designated area further on about 300 meters away. However we will definitely return

03/05/2025: Esperienza deludente. Dopo aver atteso 20 minuti prima che qualcuno venisse a prendere l’ordinazione, nonostante il locale non fosse pieno, ci aspettavamo almeno un servizio attento. Invece i piatti sono arrivati non solo nell’ordine sbagliato, ma anche spaiati, costringendoci – eravamo in 4 – a mangiare a turni. Il pesce del giorno, promesso in 20 minuti, è arrivato dopo 50, e il contorno di verdure, pagato a prezzo pieno, consisteva in soli 4 pezzi. Disorganizzazione, lentezza e porzioni discutibili. Peccato, perché il locale aveva del potenziale.

03/05/2025: Posto trovato per caso lungo la strada per Genova. Tuna vera trattoria: spartana, con un servizio caloroso, porzioni abbondanti e prezzi ottimi. Consiglio sicuramente!

11/03/2025: Very comfortable lunch spot under the WTC tower Very kind staff, very honest prices and quality ingredients. Endless offer of sandwiches, toasts and focaccias for all tastes. The furnishings are a bit spartan and there aren't many seats. Excellent discovery.

31/03/2025: Praticamente ristorante molto lussuosi camerieri simpatici ma purtroppo la cucina non è all’altezza . Ho ordinato la trippa molto gustosa ma la notte ho avuto problemi di nausea e per 2 giorni non ho più mangiato nulla ovviamente ho capito l’errore al mare non mangiare mai la trippa .

09/04/2025: posto meraviglioso, magari un pelo difficoltoso arrivarci per via della strada stretta ma ne vale sicuramente la pena. appena arrivi trovi una vista mozzafiato. locale molto ben arredato. abbiamo provato vari piatti e sicuramente degno di nota il carciofo arrostito, la seppia al carbone e la costata alla griglia. molto buono anche tutto il resto. piatti molto ben eseguiti dai gusti semplici ma strepitosi, materia prima di alta qualità. Servizio altalenante, qualche ragazzo si vede che è alle prime armi e purtroppo commette qualche errorino ma niente di trascendentale. altri ragazzi molto sul pezzo rapidi gentili e veloci. all'inizio vengono offerti frisceou e panissa caldi strepitosi. focaccia migliorabile. buona scelta di vini. CONSIGLIATISSIMO.

Menu degustazione diviso in 5 portate: in un crescendo di sapori e tecniche, Ortica ti guida in una esperienza culinaria di altissimo livello al pari della Location: una vista senza pari sul bellissimo golfo Ligure che merita senza dubbio il viaggio. Due piatti meritano menzione: la Punta di vitello, tenerissima, ed il Tataki di tonno, una guerra di acidità, dolcezza e consistenze che convergono in un bilanciamento perfetto. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. In una sola parola: INDIMENTICABILE
