Quality food, very good and tasty, generous portions at a fair price. Helpful and attentive staff, great evening, highly recommended!

I was there a couple of years ago, I finally found it on Maps: if I were to return to Genoa I would rush here to eat!

To visit this restaurant, you have to seek it out, as the location doesn't do it justice, but I assure you it's worth it. Once inside, you're greeted by the wait staff who immediately make you feel at home, among friends. At your table, you're served by Marina and Isabella. Two friendly, professional, and helpful people who provide excellent service. The menu is truly varied, and finding modest prices in Genoa seemed strange to me. I highly recommend, almost obligatory, trying the Crevari focaccia. €3 well spent, then the house special fried food, the shrimp cocktail, and the tiramisu. The house white wine by the glass is a pleasure to drink. In the kitchen, the dishes are churned out by Alessandro and Mauro. I highly recommend this place to everyone, because I'll want to return, especially because where else can you find a tasting menu for €27 in a restaurant in Genoa?

One of our favorite restaurants in Genoa, a „must visit“ during our frequent trips to this beautiful city. Food is excellent (the Frittura is most definitely the best in town) as is the service of the super friendly staff! You can‘t go wrong with a visit to Il Gelsomino!

This restaurant offers an à la carte menu and a daily menu. Always plenty of choice and good food. Reasonable prices. Everyone is very friendly.

For two, we paid €50 for a fixed-price menu, which was truly excellent. Top-notch food, a lovely atmosphere, and efficient staff. A wonderful Valentine's Day. Recommended.
