03/07/2026: This evening, my wife and I spent a wonderful evening at the El Billi restaurant in Sanremo. A simple, relaxed evening, but one that was truly special thanks to the hospitality, the service, and above all, the food we were served. We ordered two truly extraordinary Cappon Magro. As a Ligurian by birth, I can honestly say that at El Billi, you can enjoy one of the best Cappon Magro on the Western Riviera. 01/07/2026: Some Restaurants Serve Food. Others Create Memories. 🇮🇹 For me, El Billie is the ultimate Italian restaurant and pizzeria. I have known Billie for more than ten years, and one thing has never changed: his smile, his passion, and his genuine hospitality. Every visit feels like coming home. Whether it's a perfectly baked pizza, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, tender octopus, or a beautifully grilled seafood platter, the kitchen delivers outstanding quality every single time. What impresses me just as much is the atmosphere behind the scenes. Billie treats his team with respect, and you can feel it immediately. The staff are engaged, motivated, attentive, and proud of what they do. Great leadership always reaches the customer. El Billie has never disappointed me—except on the rare occasion when I arrived and found the door closed. One recommendation: reserve your table in the evening. 06/04/2026: We arrived without a reservation on our return to Venice. We knew the place and wanted to return, hoping for luck at finding a table and bringing our friends... Very kind lady. Fast and helpful service... Excellent food... homemade... The tortellini in broth... the trio of first courses... you can tell everything is homemade... from the pasta to the sauce... the lamb and the beef steak were superb (finally meat that tastes like meat... super flavorful). We also took home the pesto they made because it was excellent... thank you so much for your kindness. A big hug and see you soon 💪💪

09/06/2026: We've been to this bar many times and have always had a great time. However, I find it shameful that at 11:30 they refuse to serve us a toasted sandwich or a platter because the kitchen opens at 12:30!!! We went to another bar 50 meters away and had wonderful toasted sandwiches.

09/06/2026: The highlight of an exceptional day trip. I caught a traghetto from Camogli in the sparkling blue Ligurian Sea, dropping me off at the small dock next to the large sign reading "TRATTORIA." Calling ahead for a reservation, I was seated at a lovely table right at the water. The service was exceptional! Everyone friendly. The owner even introduced me to another table of people who shared my Italian mother's maiden name! The pesto was outstanding, as it should be in the Genoa region. The fish and roe main dish was worth celebrating. A tasty gelato dessert and the obligatory caffe. The meal was leisurely, all the time listening to the lapping of waves against the solid rocks. Having indulged in an amazing dinner, I decided to take the hike back to Camogli (a 1500 ft rise with countless steps) which went through several towns and amazing views, powered by a great meal beforehand!

05/06/2026: Dinner with friends. The waiter, Davide, was knowledgeable and very friendly. The food was good and there was a decent selection. We didn't order pizza, but it looked very inviting. The price was reasonable.

08/06/2026: A pleasant discovery: the octopus with potatoes was divine, and the tagliolini with clams, friajelli, and breadcrumbs were truly excellent. The staff were friendly and polite, and the quality/price ratio was excellent.

10/07/2026: I chose this restaurant on a whim, because it felt right, and they had pasta alle vongole on the menu, exactly what I was in the mood for. So delicious, truly incredible. I would order a second one in a heartbeat. Very good beer beforehand, and a fine white wine during the meal, which I let them choose. Perfect espresso afterwards. Happy happy happy.

15/05/2026: I must say that I found myself in a simple and clean family environment, excellent service and excellent food. Don't miss the platter of cured meats and cheese served abundant and delicate, continuing then with the famous ravioli al tuccu of the past and continuing with the variety of second courses all worth trying. Excellent place, we will return.

02/05/2026: Authentic, home-cooked food, generous portions, delicious ravioli with old-fashioned flavors, and very hard, bland chestnut gnocchi with pesto, which tasted nothing like pesto. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, but inattentive.

04/06/2026: A real wood-fired pizza? Despite high demand, we managed to snag a free table. Very attentive service. Our pizzas were flawless, my "4 stations" were generously topped, my best pizza in Italy...so far.

28/04/2026: We went for dinner without a reservation, and I appreciate the fact that it was already 9 pm and they seated us. That said, the girl who welcomed us and then served us seemed a bit cold. The pizza was plain, and the plain focaccia, just so you know, comes already cut (not round like the pizza). I wasn't entirely sold on the crème brûlée, but I did enjoy the tiramisu. The service was quick, however, and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is informal and quite welcoming, in my opinion.

16/07/2026: Very good pizza, owners not very friendly, they refused a reservation on Saturday because they "were unable to serve us given our needs" (pizza with little tomato, among other things for health reasons, or with salami undercooked). It's a shame they've lost some regular customers even on the quieter winter evenings. So 2 stars and I won't be returning.

07/07/2026: hands down the best authentic food you will get in rapallo. this place was suggested by locals so we gave it a shot, and the food was so comforting that we kept coming back for dinner for our entire stay. it’s not pretentious, just fresh, flavorful, and simple food that satisfies ur hunger after a day at the beach. we highly recommend the risotto w seafood, grilled fish, and soufflé. they have a HUGE selection of pizza which are amazing! superb food and atmosphere, definitely will come again when in town :)
