01/03/2025: The waitresses are polite. The sweets, consumed with a pleasant coffee, are good and fresh. The interior of the restaurant is not large, but there is a covered outdoor space and a pleasant outdoor area.

18/02/2025: We were received without a hello, the waitress came suddenly to move the table and chairs on which we had sat, explaining to us unkindly that we were in front of a cupboard but it was not us who had set the table that way. She curtly showed us the toilets, curtly answered questions about chocolate... No goodbye, not a smile, we were very uncomfortable. We are far from the Italian welcome. The extra chocolate wasn't great.

24/01/2025: In the center of Sarzana, a single room, with brick vaults on the ceiling. The choice is not wide, and unfortunately when I went the cannelloni I wanted to get were not available. The appetizer consisting of 5 tastings consisted of silverside carpaccio (very, perhaps too tasty), good courgette flan, savory pie with spelled (nothing special), good savory pie with courgettes, a sour leaf with a morsel on top of melted cheese. Lacking cannelloni I opted for gnocchi (I imagine homemade, good) with artichoke leaves and Zola cream, let's say that they can be improved. Overall a decent lunch, also considering the honest higher prices.

19/04/2025: I stopped for lunch attracted by the squid carbonara. I must say that it is definitely worth it, tasty, plentiful and with fresh fish. Excellent dessert. Small and well kept place. Maybe slightly expensive overall.

09/04/2025: One of my best food+art experiences ever! Nothing over the top, made with taste and love! You just sit and watch all the artistic beauty around you and enjoy the fresh twist of each traditional dish! The service is warm and descreet. The Chef-Lady even finds time to come and greet the guests, you can tell that she really cares! I'd reccomend this place for all the aesthetes/foodies visiting Albisola, it'll definitely complete your stay in this amazing "Città d'Arte"!

22/03/2025: June 2022 - Dinner with your feet in the sand and nothing more, two fish starters including a tuna tartare, a fish first course, two fish second courses including a gratinated tuna steak and a grilled dish, all without infamy and without praise except for the truly terrible grilled meat which I was unable to digest, a bottle of prosecco €.138. From the reviews I expected higher quality and a slightly lower price.

15/11/2024: Ottima qualità grazie alla proprietaria che cerca sempre la materia prima migliore e alla cucina che sa perfettamente come usarla. Nel mio caso, pur non essendo un ristorante vegano, è riuscito a soddisfare pienamente la richiesta senza preavviso, dimostrando che con la giusta conoscenza si può mangiare molto bene anche con restrizioni. Grazie mille per la fantastica serata!

11/10/2024: The view of the sea is good but it's a work in progress, not ecstasy either, you order 2 beers (30cl).. the guy arrives with antipastis which he gives you plain, we had eaten... fortunately we refuse because the 2 beers = 14 eur, that said for us we don't care, there were two of us and in love 😁🌻

Super terrace overlooking the magnificent bay and the marina, the welcome is top notch, professional people, great service, food and good choice of homemade dishes.....good address, can't wait to come back again and again.... And the best was the musical duo.

30/03/2025: Aperitif: Top environment. Normal food, nothing exceptional (2 medium pizzas, some cheese focaccia samples) For 5 of us with 2 soft drinks, a juice, a glass of white wine and a drink, €97 seems a bit excessive for what we ate but ok.

02/02/2025: Intimate, warm and welcoming restaurant, tasty typical sea and land dishes! There are owls everywhere, more or less funny, of all shapes, very characteristic! Marco is a very good chef, the love and passion he puts into his dishes can be felt in the taste! I recommend trying its first courses and the owl appetizer, you will be amazed! The thin pizzas with soft dough, very seasoned (with one you are satisfied, especially seafood!) with a nice draft beer, which went down very well. Homemade desserts, delicious meringue and tiramisu. Despite the many people on Saturday evening, the staff was able to manage the service as best as possible. We feel satisfied, enjoyed and with a full belly. We will definitely return to eat at Il Gufo!

12/01/2025: We have just had a dinner for 14 people for approximately 270 euros, excellent if not perfect service and food, we have always been customers of this place, but I must point out a significant detail, the NEW owner. This evening before we even had coffee they turned off the hot air conditioner, we wouldn't have had a problem if it hadn't been that there was a hole in the glass door and we were cold, plus with a 2 month old baby. When my mother asked the owner for explanations, they were: "I thought you were hot" and "I thought he was leaving". Now, unfortunately or fortunately, I have worked for several years in the catering sector as a waitress and in any case, on principle, customers are expected to leave the table before turning everything off, unfortunately it was just a ploy by the owner to send us away, a big It's a shame because the service and cuisine were impeccable as always and what's more I have always come to eat here for years and always in large numbers, I even come from La Spezia to eat here and unfortunately after this experience we will be forced not to come here again. I feel sorry for the girls to whom I would have gladly left a tip but after this well served it didn't seem appropriate.
