The pizza is good. Nothing extraordinary, no variations on the usual. No beer other than lager. Fair prices for a decent pizza. The atmosphere, however, is more than simple, downright modest, if not disappointing. The dessert counter at the entrance doesn't look particularly clean, and the restroom is shabby. In Alassio, on the promenade, I expect simplicity to be fine, but also thoughtful.

28/02/2026: Excellent if you're heading to the Bormida Valley from Liguria. We recommend stopping here without any pretensions, but with a satisfying experience every time. Breakfast, a snack, lunch, or dinner are all worth a stop. Ever since we discovered it, a stop has become a must and a truly satisfying experience.

Trattoria Tripoli is one of those places where the cuisine speaks for itself: traditional dishes prepared with care, generous portions, and flavors that bring you back to the origins. The staff is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere simple and familiar, just as a true trattoria should be. A local landmark for generations: eating here means savoring a century of history and passion for good food. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity and uncompromising flavor.

Pizzeria Black Bull

13/04/2026: I dined there two nights in short order. Once, I had pizza, which I wasn't thrilled with (but I'm not a pizza fan, so my opinion might be a bit biased). The second dinner was worthwhile, with an excellent seafood risotto, very rich and delicious. The desserts were average, the service professional, and the bill reasonable.
09/04/2026: On Easter Monday, we looked for a place in Spotorno to grab a bite to eat with friends and found this pizzeria and restaurant. Excellent quality, generous and tasty pizzas, seafood and more. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
