24/08/2026: A truly lovely and welcoming place, with a splendid view of the sea. The staff was kind, helpful, and always attentive. But let's get to the stars: the focaccias! Incredibly light, tasty, and truly irresistible... one slice calls for another, and it's practically impossible not to ask for seconds! We tried Biagio's cheese focaccia, which was truly delicious, and the focaccia pizzata: both are absolutely worth trying. A place that won us over with its quality, atmosphere, and hospitality. Highly recommended!

23/08/2026: Unfortunately, the place is in decline. I've known this place for many years and I used to go there often and it was always good, but when I went back recently I didn't find it great. The prices were high and the quality of the food had really dropped. The cheese focaccias seemed to have been reheated in the microwave. It's a shame because the guys who serve are good, but it's a place that has really lost a lot.

16/08/2026: ⭐️☆☆☆☆ Terrible experience on Ferragosto: service and hygiene need to be reassessed. We went to this place for dinner on Ferragosto, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing in every way. The food wasn't great, especially the fried food, which was heavy and clearly cooked in old oil, fried and re-fried. Besides the quality of the food, the organization left much to be desired: we ordered beer, but they didn't have any (on a festive evening like August 15th). Even the attention at the table was minimal; just think that for two people, we were only served two packs of breadsticks. The most serious aspect, however, concerned hygiene and compliance: the lady behind the counter was happily smoking a vape inside the restaurant. We definitely won't be returning.

01/10/2025: Exclusive seaside hotel with a restaurant open to the public, extremely well-maintained and where the food is sublime. I recommend the fresh raw fish and the entire menu, where every dish is served with extreme care by the very professional and friendly staff.

27/09/2025: The trip with Murer-Reisen left nothing to be desired. The reception at the hotel (luggage transfer to the room, staff, reception, and the reverse on the day of departure: everything as you would expect from a four-star hotel) was perfect. Every question and every request was answered in a friendly manner. The waiters in the dining room were very courteous and friendly, as were the room staff. The cleanliness left nothing to be desired. The kitchen deserves a big round of applause. Alassio is worth seeing. It will be a pleasure for us to return there again and enjoy some days of relaxation. Thanks to everyone involved.

It was 11:00 PM and we hadn't had dinner yet... the staff welcomed us without any problems, whereas three other restaurants at 10:00 PM had turned us away, saying the kitchen was closed. They treated us very well and the food was truly excellent. So I highly recommend this place... 😋

26/07/2026: On our way to France, we decided to stop in Celle Ligure and found La Meta, a very cozy and intimate restaurant that offered us a special experience. The food and service were top-notch; we'll be back just to repeat this magical tasting experience. And I might add: far from Michelin-starred, for me it was a 4-star tasting experience.

09/06/2026: I frequent the "Meta" restaurant in Celle a couple of times a year, and each time it proves to be a wonderful experience. The restaurant is small, but it's a true culinary gem. The menu is always interesting, thanks to dishes that change frequently and are presented with great care. The Meta offers three tasting menus in addition to the à la carte selection. You can also opt for the classic menus, both meat and seafood, which are priced at €58 and offer truly excellent value. For those seeking an even more substantial experience, there's the "Intrecci" menu, which offers a whopping 9 dishes for €110. At first glance, the portions may seem small, but by the end of the meal, you'll be perfectly full, fully satisfied, and never feeling heavy. Adding a splendid touch to all this is the kindness of the waiter, always welcoming and professional. Well done!

08/08/2026: A welcoming place where reservations aren't possible, but it's very spacious, and the wait for a table is acceptable. This is perhaps its weakness: the very attentive (but very kind) waiters make you feel more like you're just passing through than at home, for example, clearing away plates from diners who have finished their courses while others are still eating, as if desperately trying to minimize downtime. Fortunately, their politeness and friendliness, and the good food (we only had pizza, but it was excellent and very digestible), make up for this flaw.

The food and ingredients are top-quality, and the hospitality, especially for me as a celiac, is exceptional. A wonderful surprise in the stunning Trebbia Valley!
