22/12/2025: Everything was perfect: a quality menu, a clean and tidy environment, attention to detail, a friendly, knowledgeable staff, attentive to customer needs, and fast, precise service.

09/11/2025: Fantastic place both inside and out, surrounded by greenery and beautiful olive trees. Fast and professional staff and very good dishes with locally sourced ingredients.

19/05/2026: Truly an incredible restaurant, especially considering we're in Liguria, a seafood region. Here, however, wonderful cuts of meat from various countries abound. They recommend the best cuts based on the customer's tastes. I read about the bill, which is confusing: it works like this: the waitress prepares the bill, then takes it to the owner, a refined and kind man, who discounts it significantly (in my case almost €70), at which point the receipt is issued based on this discount. I had consumed almost €280, and they charged me €210. At that point, the receipt stated three meals for €70. In addition to the fabulous meats, I really enjoyed the Spritz sorbet!!! Never eaten there…

08/04/2026: Very good local steak. The problem with this place is that they don't provide a receipt listing the dishes ordered and their cost. They charge a flat rate at the end of the meal at the cash register, without the possibility of checking the dishes ordered and their costs. It would be nice if everyone paid taxes...

03/04/2026: I've been twice; the food is generally good with large portions, and the drinks are reasonably priced for the quantity. It's a good idea to make a reservation, although there's a chance you'll find a spot. The service is helpful and efficient (especially the waiter). The pizza selection is vast, and there's something for everyone. A major drawback is the quality of the dishes. We had a four-cheese order with too much olive oil (it was floating around), but it was tasty. The calzone was burnt on the outside and cold in places. So, they have room for improvement. In my opinion, the chef/pizza maker serves the food too quickly, and nothing would have happened if they'd waited a bit longer. If it improves things, I'll recommend it "more."

30/12/2025: The bruschetta and lasagna were delicious and freshly prepared. The bottle of white wine from Liguria is also highly recommended.

28/10/2025: We were there at 5:00 PM, many places were closed, but this one was open, they poured a generous amount of Aperol and the lasagna was not bad, my friends recommend it! ;)

03/05/2026: Highly recommended: a mix of seven appetizers and scampi and champagne risotto. The prices are quite high (€25-30 per dish), but well worth it! Reservations are recommended.

09/04/2026: My girlfriend and I had dinner here the night before Easter. We didn't have a reservation, and despite the late hour, they were very accommodating, which we really appreciated. We ordered two first courses: she had pasta with clams, and I had seafood ravioli. Both were really good. To finish, we also had a dessert to share. Overall, it was a truly enjoyable dinner, with good food and attentive, helpful service. Definitely a place to return to.

03/06/2026: Unfortunately, our impression that foreign guests pay different prices or receive different service was confirmed. Three beers ended up costing €24, and drink prices weren't listed anywhere on the menu. We ordered the Ligurian-style fish twice, but each time we only received one medium-sized grilled fish, without tomatoes or olives as described on the menu. When we asked if it was indeed Ligurian-style and if it was really a portion for two people, we were simply told "yes." In the end, we received a €6 discount for the missing olives, but we were charged a hefty €50 for the two fish (which was only one fish) – a real shame, as the appetizers were delicious and reasonably priced. We wonder how things would have gone if we had asked about prices and portion sizes in detail beforehand.

24/05/2026: Very kind and professional, excellent fish dinner, the fish soup one of the best I've ever had. For lunch, the fixed-price menu was very good.

10/06/2026: Very polite and professional staff. Clean rooms. The hotel's location is very convenient; the metro, bus, and train station are all very close and easily accessible. Genoa city center is still just a short walk away. The restaurant staff deserves special mention.

03/06/2026: The underground parking garage is hidden and not easy to find. Breakfast was good. The room was clean, and there was an iron and ironing board.

13/09/2025: Excellent place if you’re looking for peace and a break from the city. Delicious breakfast (included) and dinner (€30 per person) made from local products. Breakfast and dinner are available only for guests. They also have a ropes park and offer lunch for non-guests.

09/09/2025: Simply: it felt like home! ❤️ We spent days of pure relaxation and felt pampered and welcome. We ate, drank, and slept divinely! Bob is a loyal four-legged friend who quickly makes friends with everyone. Thanks to Nereo, Lucia, and their children. We were lucky to discover the Giandriale farmhouse! ❤️

07/06/2026: Absolutely avoid! We stumbled into this ersatz restaurant somewhat by chance, drawn in by the crowd (June 2026). Proof that popular success isn't always a guarantee of quality... First surprise: the wine list seems to have been curated by a jeweler. The prices are simply astronomical. We then ordered a beef fillet with grilled vegetables. After more than 30 minutes of waiting for a rare steak—clearly enough time to let the beef mature—the plates finally arrived. And then, astonishment: the pieces of meat were so thin and small that for a moment we thought we'd ordered the tasting menu from a dollhouse. As for the grilled vegetables, there were an impressive four of them: two tiny slices of eggplant and two of zucchini. A veritable vegetable orgy. Still starving, we had to order a plate of frozen fries for €8, probably flown in by private jet given the price. And to top off this surreal gastronomic experience, the bill came to €125 for two people. It was eventually reduced to €120, the waiter having made a mistake on the price of the bottle... to our detriment, of course. A gesture of goodwill we won't soon forget. At this point, we decided against the desserts, priced at €18 each: after all, we still had to pay for the return trip. In short: Lilliputian portions, gargantuan prices, and value for money worthy of a work of fiction. An experience we certainly won't be repeating.

27/05/2026: Great atmosphere....friendly staff....I was a tourist in a place with mostly locals and they were all very kind and fun! I went back each day I was in Santa Margherita.... oh, and the food and drink A+++++++++++++++

20/05/2026: Great place to stop for a nice espresso or cappuccino for locals but you can go too! The barista is very kind and you can sit on the plaza and watch the goings on. Price is Good and Great atmosphere with a small local coffee bar! Close by is also good gelato and shopping!

17/05/2026: Last night we ate at Marco Polo, I've always heard great things about it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, which were carefully planned down to the smallest detail, the lovely and helpful staff, and not to mention the wine and grappa, which were divine. Thank you! 🥂🥰
