03/07/2026: This evening, my wife and I spent a wonderful evening at the El Billi restaurant in Sanremo. A simple, relaxed evening, but one that was truly special thanks to the hospitality, the service, and above all, the food we were served. We ordered two truly extraordinary Cappon Magro. As a Ligurian by birth, I can honestly say that at El Billi, you can enjoy one of the best Cappon Magro on the Western Riviera. 01/07/2026: Some Restaurants Serve Food. Others Create Memories. 🇮🇹 For me, El Billie is the ultimate Italian restaurant and pizzeria. I have known Billie for more than ten years, and one thing has never changed: his smile, his passion, and his genuine hospitality. Every visit feels like coming home. Whether it's a perfectly baked pizza, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, tender octopus, or a beautifully grilled seafood platter, the kitchen delivers outstanding quality every single time. What impresses me just as much is the atmosphere behind the scenes. Billie treats his team with respect, and you can feel it immediately. The staff are engaged, motivated, attentive, and proud of what they do. Great leadership always reaches the customer. El Billie has never disappointed me—except on the rare occasion when I arrived and found the door closed. One recommendation: reserve your table in the evening. 09/06/2026: The highlight of an exceptional day trip. I caught a traghetto from Camogli in the sparkling blue Ligurian Sea, dropping me off at the small dock next to the large sign reading "TRATTORIA." Calling ahead for a reservation, I was seated at a lovely table right at the water. The service was exceptional! Everyone friendly. The owner even introduced me to another table of people who shared my Italian mother's maiden name! The pesto was outstanding, as it should be in the Genoa region. The fish and roe main dish was worth celebrating. A tasty gelato dessert and the obligatory caffe. The meal was leisurely, all the time listening to the lapping of waves against the solid rocks. Having indulged in an amazing dinner, I decided to take the hike back to Camogli (a 1500 ft rise with countless steps) which went through several towns and amazing views, powered by a great meal beforehand!

02/07/2026: A down-to-earth place that focuses on substance over appearance. The fish dishes are excellent, the fried calamari (don't ask for the ringed fish or it'll go badly...) and anchovies are legendary and plentiful, and made exclusively with fresh fish. The price/quality ratio is excellent. The veranda is very popular, so reservations are recommended. Highly recommended.

04/07/2026: A charming restaurant overlooking the San Lorenzo sea. It's easily accessible via a bike path. Generous portions and good quality. Recommended for a sunset dinner.

04/07/2026: We got a table without a reservation, dogs are allowed, the food was excellent and arrived quickly, and the staff was friendly. We'd gladly come back.

19/08/2025: There's not much to say, this is absolutely the best place to enjoy a nice drink with friends at a bar. Super conveniently located, charming setting (well-furnished, there's a foosball table, a TV showing sports, and a darts board, all despite the place being small). Best prices in Rimini, and the drinks are good too.

28/11/2025: A glass of white wine ordered as normal (served without appetizers) at €7 at the counter seems very excessive to me, it is advisable to ask the prices first.

02/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome on a terrace overlooking the sea and the old village of Bordighera. Excellent Italian cuisine with impeccable service. Good value for money. A must-try on your next trip.

19/04/2026: A historic venue in one of Genoa's most beautiful squares. Unfortunately, the food accompanying the cocktails wasn't great; the pizza and farinata were very well-worn, the portions were limited, and the service was subpar. They first told us we'd have to vacate the tables within an hour and a half if we wanted them, and then it took over half an hour to get drinks.

19/04/2026: In the legendary Piazza delle Erbe, this historic bar offers a modern-style aperitif. A superb cheese focaccia, pesto trofie, cod fritters, and octopus with potatoes are served. A soft drink, coffee, and a liqueur are included—truly top-notch. Recommended.

08/05/2026: A pleasant stop with an excellent sandwich, the draft beer was a little dull, but it was okay. It's not the first time I've stopped here, always good ✌🏻

06/04/2026: A bar where all the motorcyclists stop for a break, a pleasant and often crowded place, with pleasant and helpful staff.

29/05/2026: We only had a small drink there, but the setting is magnificent. The service was pleasant.

12/05/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant in the heart of Tellaro and had a truly pleasant experience. The location is one of its strong points: a small, secluded and quiet terrace with glimpses of the sea amidst the town's alleys and hamlets, creating an authentic and relaxed atmosphere. The cuisine offers simple dishes, without unnecessary complications, but prepared with great care and attention to detail. Everything we tasted was tasty, balanced, and beautifully presented. You could sense the quality of the ingredients and the desire to showcase them without excess. We had two dishes each, dessert, and a bottle of wine, spending about €70 per person: a price appropriate for the experience, the quality of the dishes, and above all, the truly special location in the center of Tellaro. A place I would recommend to anyone looking for authentic, well-crafted cuisine in an intimate and charming setting.
