15/03/2026: The staff were not at all friendly, we had to compromise on every dish we chose (this one isn't available, you have to order two of the same main courses, the Marsala is sold out). GENOA OFFERS BETTER PLACES

22/02/2026: A restaurant in the alleys of Genoa. We booked here for a get-together with old friends. The location is definitely dated and a bit dark, and initially I wasn't impressed, but it was packed, so I thought maybe I'd change my mind. The wait was a bit long. Not everyone could choose what we wanted because the chef was alone, so he could only prepare appetizers, then first courses, and finally second courses. My friend, who only ordered one second course, waited for everyone to eat their appetizers and first courses, watching us, and then ate herself. I found this absolutely inconceivable. Now, let's move on to the positives: the lady who served us was very friendly and pleasant, and we forgave her for every delay and shortcoming. All the dishes were good, except for my shellfish, which was overcooked and dry inside (probably reheated). The only downside was that I ordered spaghetti with clams, but they weren't there, and they told me they could only make it with clams (which have a very different price, but I paid the same as clams). I don't think they wouldn't have increased the price of the dish if I'd asked for white truffle instead of black truffle, or fillet instead of steak, but vice versa. That said, the dish was really good, and we didn't complain about it this time either. The quality outweighed the "distraction." Price: Like many places in Genoa, the prices are a bit high. There are some things that could be improved; the dishes are good, the ingredients are good, and it was cooked well. Compliments to the chef.

22/02/2026: I'm reviewing the restaurant because we've only tried it. The atmosphere is simple and clean, the staff is quick and friendly, and the dishes are delicious and plentiful. A special mention goes to the grilled octopus: EXCEPTIONAL. From now on, every time we return to Chiavari, the Miramare restaurant will be a regular stop.

05/01/2026: Nice facility, but the dog management needs rethinking. The residence is truly lovely: clean rooms, an excellent location, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Nothing to complain about the facility itself... However, I must point out a sore point: the excessive presence of dogs in every area over the past year, especially in the breakfast room. Although I love animals, I believe that for reasons of hygiene and respect for all guests, dogs should not have access to the dining area, or at least there should be a separate area. Being surrounded by too many four-legged friends during the first meal of the day isn't ideal for those with allergies or who are afraid for reasons unknown to everyone. It's a real shame because we really enjoy the sense of freedom this place offers. A special mention for the staff: reception, housekeeping, and breakfast room (Laura is top notch).

02/01/2026: This residence is isolated from shops at the end of Albenga. The wooden windows are very worn, the chairs and table are old and very noisy—it would be enough to put felt under them—the blankets are old and have holes in them. You can hear the train passing by and everything being said in neighboring apartments. Located right on the seafront, but allowing dogs, the beach becomes a dog litter box (certainly not the dogs' fault, but their owners'), so you have to be careful where you step. The only positive thing is the view, overlooking the sea and Gallinara Island. Year 2025, end of December. improved, the PVC windows, an extra sofa, breakfast service a little worsened, for the rest it has a breathtaking view and is a quiet place for those seeking peace, silence and not wanting to see anyone, just the sea and peace, thanks to Laura for her friendliness and kindness and to all the staff, thanks

16/10/2025: Exceptional trattoria, a welcoming, family atmosphere, and prompt, attentive service. Spent a Sunday with the family; truly excellent value for money. Exceptional staff.

02/01/2026: Arriving at just under 2 PM, with two large dogs, I asked if they'd given us anything to eat, and to our surprise, they said yes! I couldn't have asked for anything better. We had a set menu and an à la carte menu. The set menu was very good, and the price was excellent, with dessert included. I had two first courses without a second course, and both were very good, with a truly excellent dessert! Another thing not to be underestimated was the coffee! Well-made and delicious! Excellent service, with a very good waitress, kind and always smiling! Perfect timing between courses! I recommend it! P.S. I recommend calling first, though! 😁😁

22/03/2026: Food was not bad. But absolutely overpriced. An artichoke salad 16 Euros. Adding artichoke to the vongole spaguetti 8 euros/person. Would not return.

21/03/2026: Dry and flavorless farinata. Potato and green bean pizza arrived almost cold. 4 Seasons pizza with 4 artichoke slices added for a €3 surcharge. The waitress was unkind; she even shushed me when I was ordering, saying "just a minute" and turning to the person with me. I sat with the door behind me, and every time it opened I froze. There were only 5 tables occupied that evening. The previous owners were better! I wouldn't recommend it.

14/03/2026: Amazing flavor in the pizzas. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in Monterosso.

10/03/2026: We lived in Monterosso and traveled all Chonkwe Terra looking for calzone. And when we failed we came to the Smorfia. That two calzones were best pizzas in the world! Yes, people is passing by. But we forgot of that after glass of wine.

29/11/2025: We were on the bike path and stopped randomly. The best tables with a view were reserved, but that didn't detract from the setting. The service was efficient and welcoming, and the fish dishes were excellent. We ordered the seafood pasta and the grilled anchovies. You can tell the kitchen staff are professional, efficient, and generous!

20/01/2026: Excellent place, with interesting aperitifs and delicious wines. I just wonder how you can offer an excellent wine alongside a mediocre one? A place, like a brand, should be "targeted"—excuse the unorthodox term. I wish the owner of this place, undoubtedly one of the best in the area, had the courage to eliminate the mediocre and commercial elements in favor of what's already available in his business and makes for an incredible experience. P.S.: I recommend Bordeaux Ricaud.
