04/06/2025: I came here in 2021 and was pleasantly surprised by both the location and the food. I'm coming back now and I find everything has changed... the location is still wonderful but while it was once full of tables (you could never find a place even if you booked a week in advance) now there were only 4 cats on the weekend. We order some cheese focaccias and some similar baked sofficini arrive, fried panissa (good), then mezzelune in walnut sauce and mandilli with pesto both totally cold and not even decent. Finally the tiramisu was quite good. I don't know if the management has changed or something else but it certainly doesn't make me want to go back. I'm sorry because in the past I had a great time

31/05/2025: Servizio efficiente e gentile, luogo panoramico su tutta la città, menù elaborato, vario è buonissimo. Eravamo almeno 50 persone e siamo stati comodi dentro. Fuori c’erano almeno altri 20 clienti.

17/06/2025: Excellent focaccia! I am a true lover of cheese focaccia and the ones you find here are really excellent, light, thin pastry, perfectly cooked and many different and original toppings. The ones with Cheese focaccia with gorgonzola and pears and with bacon and courgettes are good We also tried their appetizers: Fried anchovies, fried panissa and fried sage, truly exceptional! Recommended! You can also take away and eat on the beach or on the promenade.

07/06/2025: Unexpected restaurant in the mountains, we came by chance, we tried the experience We did not understand everything on the menu or single menu at 35€ including still water, sparkling water and house wine First course donut with suro flowers very good Second course assortment (5-6) antipasti all homemade After, we were offered a meat with vegetables but our stomach was already quite full, so we had a cheese and salad plate with chestnut compote and suro flowers Dessert of your choice basil ice cream Strawberry panacotta Steamed flan I opted for the Panacota, then a killer, a coulis that must certainly be homemade Between two, he offers us a glass of prosecco before dessert and at the end a small digestive with homemade raspberry The service is superb I recommend this place which is different from restaurants which generally offer the same things For the bill, a good surprise like the meal For three 77€

04/07/2025: The restaurant is very nice and well-kept, the staff is kind even if not very present. We waited a bit, in general for the dishes and for the dessert, and it can be expected considering the full place, but what left us a bit perplexed was the twenty-minute wait for water and the menu... But overall the dishes were excellent and a fair quality-price ratio.

08/07/2025: I live above and I had never given this place the right rating. I decided to book hearing so much good things about it AND THEY WERE RIGHT. Very fresh raw café with dried tomatoes and olives amazing, Irish Angus 1k and 200 but if they had been 2, they would have gone down very well. The meat is butter, tasty like I hadn't tasted for a long time. My 15 month old son particularly enjoyed the potatoes 😀 impeccable service. The final surprise was the bill really for the quality of the meat, the service and everything is really accessible to everyone 💓

03/05/2025: Ate really good meat, family-run place that puts its heart into what it does....a nice dinner characterized by friendliness in an informal atmosphere. And I recommend the meat absolutely rare otherwise the chef will get angry

27/06/2025: On the advice of our B&B, we had dinner at Trattoria la Loggia, during our stay in the 5 Terre area. We had such a good time that after a couple of days we went back for more! There's little to do: passion and commitment arrive on the table, with the genuine flavors of the area and a very refined traditional cuisine. 14/06/2025: A pearl in the varied panorama of the restaurant of the western part of Genoa. The cuisine is meticulously cared for in every detail. The menu is never predictable, forget about tourist menus. Friendly and very competent service. The cellar is a real gem with a continuous selection of wines and cellars of absolute interest. Every dinner is a journey through flavour and continuous discovery. Well done.

02/06/2025: In zona centrale, vicinissimo alla bella Via Garibaldi, è un locale curato e pulito. Il proprietario è stato cortese e simpatico e ci ha offerto un tavolo tranquillo dove abbiamo gustato una cena preparata con ingredienti di qualità. Ottimi gli antipasti, molto buoni i primi, gradevole il calice di vino rosso e strepitosi i dolci. La bavarese con zabaione è la migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Il conto è stato assolutamente adeguato. Complimenti a Au Cafè :)
