20/02/2026: I hadn't been there since 2010. I was passing through La Spezia and wanted to go back with some old friends of mine even though there are many competitive places in the city now. Well, I have to say that it's still number one both for food (I ate panigacci and meat) but above all for prices. Top.

19/02/2026: We went to Vecchio Mulino in Sarzana and I have to say we had a truly wonderful time. We had a table of 28 people, a number that would overwhelm many restaurants, but everything went off without a hitch. The staff was absolutely top-notch: fast, well-coordinated, and very attentive, which is not a given when there are so many of you. Despite the large group, the dishes arrived hot and without endless waits (with dishes placed at the center of the table). There's not much to say about the food; the sgabei are excellent, as are the cured meats, and the first courses are fully in keeping with local tradition. As for the meat, it was possible to cook it more gently using a brazier that was brought to the table. The quality-price ratio was excellent, although the prices have increased slightly compared to a few years ago. If you're planning a group dinner in Sarzana and want to play it safe, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!

22/02/2026: To end a weekend at the seaside, we had dinner at this restaurant. We ate very well. We chose the seafood menu: trofie with squid ink and monkfish ragù, Sicilian-style swordfish and baby octopus with spinach and potatoes, and for dessert, tarte tatin with ice cream. 15/02/2026: We went to this place on Valentine's Day. Even though it was a very busy night, we had a really good time. The food was excellent, with quality ingredients and a truly friendly staff. Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: We made a reservation for four people by phone, no wait, and were seated in the dining room next to a side exit door. The staff opened it countless times, causing some disruption, but fortunately, the quality of the service made up for it. The dishes were generously portioned and generally good. The paella was plentiful. Prices were in line with other restaurants in the area. The prices, after all, are unquestionable; they're obvious. We might return, though I always like variety.

25/02/2026: A paradise for meat lovers! Rossocarne's menu celebrates the authentic flavors of Ligurian tradition, using top-quality meat. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is quaint, and the decor contributes to a casual yet elegant atmosphere.

22/02/2026: We booked for 10 people; the place wasn't very large but it was nice, with friendly and attentive service. We ordered an appetizer of cheeses and cured meats (excellent) and various tartares (average). Then we ordered a Florentine steak aged for 60 days (good but not exceptional), and a rib-eye steak aged for 180 days (more than 180 days), which unfortunately arrived cold and raw. We had it reheated, but it still didn't taste as exceptional as expected—a shame. All this was accompanied by an excellent Primitivo di Manduria. The desserts were not to be missed.

31/01/2026: I've dined here numerous times with my family. I've always found the quality of the products and ingredients excellent, and the service impeccable and very friendly. The atmosphere is elegant and has a homey feel. I'll definitely be back many more times.

23/12/2025: We went to this restaurant on Saturday evening for my birthday. We were very impressed with the helpful owners and the food, from starters to main courses, was excellent. Excellent value for money. Gluten-free options available.

24/02/2026: We're talking about a trattoria, so that's the definition we need to apply. The atmosphere is comfortable and unpretentious, bright and airy. A biker friend and I stopped in today. A pleasant surprise, since I was having trouble, when they directed me to a convenient and safe place to leave my helmet. The food was another pleasant surprise. Really good, carefully cooked, and not lacking. The rabbit was perhaps overheated and a bit tough. Everything else was perfect. Finally, the bill was modest.

20/02/2026: We had the stock and roast, both delicious. The location is simple and homey, so if you're looking for a refined atmosphere, this isn't the place... but the food is worth it. Well done.

03/03/2026: My favorite restaurant in Finale. All the food is excellent, seasonal, and beautifully presented. The service is friendly and fast. However, I haven't eaten there since December because it's temporarily closed. When will you reopen?

03/01/2026: We ate here twice during our vacation. Despite the long wait (New Year's Eve week) and since reservations aren't possible, I highly recommend it! The waiter, who takes care of the wait list and seats you, is very quick, attentive, lively, efficient, and professional! He keeps an eye on everything and everyone and makes sure your experience is excellent. The food is very good, both the pizza and the fish dishes! The portions are excellent and the prices are fair! The tiramisu is also very delicious! We'll definitely be back :)

The food is magnificent, prepared with great care and quality, and each dish is beautifully presented. Furthermore, the wine list is very well curated, with a carefully selected range that perfectly complements the culinary offerings. The service deserves special mention: professional, attentive, and friendly, always ready to make the experience even better. Without a doubt, it's a place that has left a lasting impression on me, and I would gladly return. Highly recommended for both the accommodation and the restaurant.
