08/08/2025: August 2025 I often return throughout the year, but this time I was truly surprised, starting with the service and the staff, who are kind, hospitable, and perfect. The cuisine is always top-notch, nothing to complain about, and I continue to recommend Branda in every way. The location is still the same, well-maintained, but the new terrace on the seventh floor has been renovated and makes wonderful after-dinner drinks. April 2022 Excellent quality of the ingredients and special preparation, the Branda and pistachio cheesecake are highly recommended. The only flaw is the service, nothing special, and a few oversights, such as a hair in the focaccia they brought us at the beginning. The waiters are not up to par; with better service, this place deserves 5 stars, especially since it's the restaurant of a famous hotel chain.

05/08/2025: Fantastic hospitality, great food. Our family was having trouble with getting the last train, great thanks to Rosy for helping us for calling a taxi and arrange the food order for us.

26/06/2025: 0. Overrated, Overpriced, and Disrespectful Service. We ordered pasta with shrimps, and it was awful. It smelled bad and had no taste. The shrimps were chopped into tiny bits and didn’t seem fresh at all. When we brought it to the staff’s attention, they dismissed it as our problem, offering no alternative or apology. This place is way too expensive for such bad food and rude service. Not worth it at all.

25/06/2025: Beautiful culinary and human experience. The attentive and helpful service, the uniquely flavored dishes, the private and welcoming atmosphere made our dinner a wonderful memory. We will definitely return

01/08/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. The hostess and her staff were very helpful and professional. It was our first time here, but the atmosphere felt like we were regulars. The food was all excellent. I absolutely must try the Genoese-style cuttlefish! It was a truly satisfying lunch, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

A Michelin-starred restaurant that shines not only for its extraordinary cuisine, but for the warmth and professionalism of its people. A place where you go to eat well, and return to feel good.

20/07/2025: Absolutely recommended. Four of us, including our children, came for the 5-course menu and were thrilled. The Michelin star is absolutely deserved, and the quality, presentation, ambience, and service are all in line with what we expect from German Michelin-starred cuisine. We particularly appreciated the freshness and lightness of the menu. The dishes and wine glasses are exceptionally beautiful. And the very friendly sommelier selected wonderful Ligurian wines for us, which paired beautifully with the menu. The service is multilingual and consistently pleasant. We loved the terrace seating with its sea view and the sound of the waves, and the few passing cars weren't a nuisance at all in what is now a very traffic-calmed zone. Parking is easily available nearby. We would be happy to come back.

13/08/2025: Go for it! Great restaurant. Friendly and welcoming owner! I recommend the gorgonzola pasta and their tiramisu to die for.

09/08/2025: What more can we say than to use the word... extraordinary! ... A typical, local trattoria with perfectly high-quality products. The starter was homemade linguine, and it's true, it was to die for. The gorgonzola/pistachio sauce was delicious. My partner enjoyed a beef carpaccio with truffles. ... the word "delight" isn't strong enough. For the second course, the baked sausage was delicious and the beef was of high quality. And let's not even talk about dessert... I'm still salivating! An ice cream of incredible creaminess. A very pleasant bottle of white wine from the Cinque Terre. We let the owner choose, and it was unrivaled value for money. And above all, the grappa with its hazelnut flavors is the best we've ever had, and yet... we're both fans and connoisseurs of this spirit. And to top it all off, we became friends with the owners at closing time, and the house offered us a limoncello made on site... a delight that makes us never want to drink this unparalleled nectar anywhere else. In short, the best discovery of our stay. If we ever come back within 200 kilometers, the detour will be a must!!! Highly recommended. Usually there's always a negative point, but here I... won't find any, and that's rare. Yet we are demanding. Ludo (clubfiatissimo) and Mali See you soon and thank you again for this great meeting.

23/05/2025: È raro uscire da un ristorante con la sensazione di aver vissuto qualcosa di davvero speciale, ma è esattamente quello che è successo dopo la cena da Hostaria Ducale. Ci siamo trovati lì quasi per caso, in una serata genovese di pioggia leggera, e sin dall’ingresso abbiamo percepito una cura fuori dal comune. Il locale è raccolto, intimo, arredato con gusto ma senza ostentazioni. Non c'è musica di sottofondo: solo voci basse, piatti che arrivano con grazia, e una certa sospensione del tempo. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. I camerieri si muovono in silenzio, presenti ma mai invadenti. Una ragazza in particolare ci ha accompagnati per tutta la cena con discrezione e gentilezza, rispondendo alle nostre curiosità con chiarezza e senza fretta. Non c’è nulla di affettato nei loro modi: si sente che ci tengono davvero a farti stare bene. Abbiamo scelto il percorso degustazione da otto portate, e ogni piatto è stato un piccolo viaggio. Indimenticabile il risotto con anguilla affumicata, un equilibrio perfetto tra cremosità, affumicatura e acidità. Il piccione con foie gras è arrivato come un’opera teatrale ben costruita: cottura magistrale, sapori profondi, senza eccessi. Anche i dessert, spesso trascurati altrove, qui brillano per inventiva e precisione.

13/08/2025: The service is the strong point, truly excellent, very hospitable and helpful. The space is a bit small, but the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. The food is also good, carefully presented and explained; the fish and chicken are delicious. The portions are a bit small, but considering the location, it's worth it!

29/07/2025: I'm sure you'll agree, it's an absolutely amazing place. If you're interested in trying the local cuisine and meeting the people, you've come to the right place. It's a popular place, so you might have to wait around ten to fifteen minutes for a table. They just had a local menu, and it was really cheap. Just wanted to say a big thank you for the local feel and the friendly, professional service. Just a heads-up: let us know when you're going to be around, and we'll make sure to include you on the list.

21/07/2025: Cena di ieri 20 luglio in famiglia. Abbiamo scelto l antipasto misto che consisteva in salame, pancetta, voul au vent ai funghi, formaggella, tortina di erbe e riso, capricciosa, pescetti in carpione e insalata di songino arricchita da frutta secca tostata e grana, tutto apprezzato. A seguire i ravioli, sia al ragù che al sugo di noci, perfetti nelle due versioni, personalmente preferisco il sugo di noci perché, secondo me, li valorizza. Il secondo proprio non ci stava, abbiamo preso una fetta di torta di mele, buona, per golosità. Vino bianco della casa dal sapore asprigno ma ci piace così , caffè e mirto per digerire, prezzo onesto e servizio sollecito!

03/08/2025: This was our first visit to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of the ingredients and dishes. The staff is extremely friendly and managed to find us a table even without a reservation. The portions are generous, and a special mention goes to the signature dish: paella, served with fresh, flavorful seafood. Highly recommended.
