15/06/2025: For the first time we go to the very renowned Scalvini restaurant, a beautiful experience starting with the staff, super professional and prepared to explain the various dishes, Mrs. Roberta very nice, impeccable service, starred restaurant dishes, not a big place but better this way, very well cared for in every detail, quiet environment. We felt very pampered, I recommend it to everyone, we will definitely return.

26/04/2025: Despite the kindness of the dining room staff, the experience in the restaurant of this 5-star hotel was nothing short of shocking. The quality of ingredients and preparation is scandalously low: farmed fish and many pre-cooked and frozen dishes. But the peak was reached when they served us a second course of chicken completely covered in plastic, which we even ate! We found ourselves ingesting plastic, a carcinogenic and harmful substance. The waiter's apologies and the dish not being charged to the bill do not erase the seriousness of such an episode. The absence of an intervention and an apology from the chef directly in the room was a further demonstration of a lack of professionalism in the face of such an unprecedented event. To be absolutely avoided until the chef has changed and everything has been redone from scratch.

25/04/2025: Nonostante la gentilezza del personale di sala, l'esperienza nel ristorante di questo hotel 5 stelle è stata a dir poco scioccante. La qualità degli ingredienti e della preparazione è scandalosamente bassa: solo pesce d'allevamento e molti piatti precotti e congelati. Ma l'apice è stato raggiunto quando ci hanno servito un secondo di pollo completamente ricoperto di plastica, che abbiamo persino mangiato! Ci siamo trovati a ingerire plastica, una sostanza cancerogena e nociva. Le scuse del cameriere e il piatto non addebitato sul conto non cancellano la gravità di un simile episodio. L'assenza di un intervento e di scuse da parte dello chef in persona direttamente in sala è stata un'ulteriore dimostrazione di mancanza di professionalità di fronte a un fatto così inaudito. Sarebbe il caso di fare un reset e ripartire da zero con un nuovo chef.

30/06/2025: I was invited (paying) to attend a lunch at this restaurant. Those who had booked arrived quite late. let's get to the point, as appetizers 2 mousses as big as walnuts whose ingredients I don't remember, 2 stuffed mussels, 8 mussels marinara, 8 mussels with pepper, 2 stuffed anchovies per person. then they served the first courses (spaghetti alla enzo and penne that we didn't understand what sauce was in there, the tomato was there. for the bread and wine you had to ask at least 5 times. all of a sudden a gentleman came out saying to hurry up and ask for the second course because the chef would leave soon. they brought a mixed fried food with 4 squids and half a fried cuttlefish. I had left to eat fish, but the fish never arrived. all for only 75 euros per person I leave any comments to those who read. available for any comparison to those who don't believe my story regards Riccardi Danilo

26/06/2025: A local captain suggested we stop at this place for lunch or dinner, and I am so happy we dined here! Incredibly fresh, local seafood, yummy food overall (fabulous seafood risotto), and delicious local wine that was suggested to us by our waiter. Fabulous service in a lovely atmosphere!

24/05/2025: This was the best restaurant we went to when we stayed in Monterosso. It started off with amazing views that lead into an awesome experience from meeting the owner & chef. The food was OUTSTANDING. I had the florentine steak & my wife had the Pesto pasta. Both were incredible and then we finished the night off with the chocolate soufflé. We called a taxi to go up but they took us back down, excellent service and highly recommend!

21/05/2025: Best service I’ve had in Italy. Owner picked us up from monterosso. The best views of cinque terra and great food. A must do here!

12/06/2025: In search of quality cuisine, we definitely found it here! We were welcomed in an excellent manner by the very kind, precise and professional waiter; he immediately explained to us without us asking the composition of some of their typical local dishes. Black tagliolini with prawns, calamari and cherry tomatoes, in addition to their spectacular Ciupin! You can immediately feel the high quality of the food, in addition to the great ability of the chef! Excellent selection of wines. High level cuisine but where you feel at home! Also correct quality/price ratio. Owner equally kind and friendly, a lover of his work! A place where it is truly a pleasure to go! As soon as we are in these parts we will definitely return to visit them and delight ourselves with their cuisine!

11/06/2025: The restaurant is a bit anonymous from the outside, but the quality of the dishes is truly excellent. The fish is delicious! The staff is kind, attentive, welcoming. We will definitely be back.

13/06/2025: We had dinner in this little place as a couple. Very nice place, very kind and attentive staff. Very good food and generous portions! The homemade tagliolini and the fried food were excellent, dry and crispy. The dessert... An unexpected surprise! Highly recommended!

04/07/2025: Very tasty, atmospheric and pleasant, service 5+. We had only two evenings in this city, and we decided to give both dinners to this establishment, everything is cooked from the heart, delicious, beautiful. I highly recommend it.

02/07/2025: I often go with my wife to dinner here. The food is plentiful, good quality and also with "tasty" dishes. The desserts are very rich and the price is more than fair, given the location. Just be careful with the dishes off the menu, which are sometimes a little more expensive.

10/05/2025: Very good dinner! I booked on the fork, a very nice place in a small square in Via Piacenza. Friendly staff and quick service. The menu offers many proposals plus off-menu items which are all interesting. We had warm octopus salad and seared calamari on chickpea cream that were really good! Perfect cooking! Calamari and pistachio testaroli, good and plentiful, perhaps a little too much garlic? Good Cheesecake with Strawberries two starters, two first courses, 1 dessert, 2 glasses of rose and two coffees. We spent €44 each, maybe a little more expensive than I thought, but good!

09/05/2025: Highly recommended! The food was divine, the place is a little hidden for those who are perhaps not from the area (I live in Pegli) however, everything was really very good!!!
