23/10/2025: This palace is beautiful, unfortunately the route is not very well indicated but nevertheless the staff is very kind and they speak French. I recommend renting an audio guide although it is a little expensive for a better understanding of the paintings.

Their cold and unprofessional attitude made it difficult to fully appreciate the place. It's a shame, because the food deserves much better.

01/11/2025: I absolutely have no complaints about the quality of the dishes; the quality of the ingredients is evident. The only downside was the attitude of the person I believe to be the owner: my wife and I felt like unwelcome guests, perhaps because we only ordered water (my wife was pregnant, and I don't drink if I have to drive), one appetizer, three first courses (a trofie with olive oil was for my two-year-old son), no second course, and only one dessert. I understand and agree with the focus on high-spending customers, but if you only want to cater to that type of clientele, at least don't serve them in denim shorts. PS: It was July, and the place doesn't have air conditioning. It's a shame, because the food is truly delicious, and the waiters were all kind and understanding. PS: I'm writing this after four months because I was thinking of returning to the area. I'm not accusing anyone, but simply describing my personal experience and feelings.

08/10/2025: The appetizers were good, especially the mussel soup. The fried anchovies were dry and the breading was way too thick. The main course consisted of fried calamari, shrimp, and vegetables—the vegetables were just breaded, with no sauce—just dry. The cod in cream with pesto was okay. We expected much more based on the excellent reviews.
06/10/2025: Beautiful, cozy restaurant. Good service. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Highly recommended. The price/performance ratio was perfect for us.

This can easily be ranked as one of the city’s best pizzas, but given it has just a few seats and it’s open at lunchtime only, it’s rarely visited by tourists. However, if you want a very good pizza with a crunchy dough and tasty toppings, with a few euros you will have it! Quality/price ratio is unbelievable. And you can eat it in the garden nearby Colombo’s house or in Piazza Matteotti in a sunny day for a true Genoese experience!

09/11/2025: As you already know, dear readers, it's rare for me to give five stars so easily. But the second thing that comes to mind, after five stars, is wow. From the moment I crossed the threshold of this interesting place of "perdition," country and country-rock music mellowed my ears, introducing a truly interesting and well-organized atmosphere. A flame protected by a glass urn hinted at the motifs of blazing braziers and grills. In a flash, we ordered and had our drinks at the table. The fragrant and tasty bread was in the basket. A Fassona tartare and a Barcelleria hamburger were our choices, on our first, but certainly not last, visit to this refined place of meat culture. Two portions of Dippers and we were done. In short, an evening of good cuisine, with excellent cuts of selected meats that were much appreciated. The table service staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable. A special mention for their style and bearing. And so I set off again, always in search of the food and wine excellences of our beautiful country.

Chef Carlo kindly personally ensures that everything is to our liking. A guest with celiac disease is attentively looked after. Impeccable service. Fair quality/price ratio.

Chef Carlo welcomed us like we were his children, making us feel at home and providing an unforgettable experience. The quality of the food is undeniable, as is the chef's passion for cooking it.
