12/07/2025: In beautiful Bolsena... a special encounter with Papayo! A small rotisserie pizzeria but of GREAT quality. We tried the pizza al pala, made with selected flours and a long leavening time, uniquely soft and with a fantastic crispy exterior... yesterday, off the menu, there was fried fish, what can I say: High quality! Fresh fish and expertly fried! Generous portions and an excellent price! Thanks to Paolo and Giulia, the very kind and friendly owners!

13/07/2025: 12 luglio cena nel suggestivo borgo di Tuscania, La Botte Piccola di rivela una tappa gastronomica capace di coniugare autenticità e gusto con sorprendente coerenza ed armonia. Durante la cena il famiglia, il locale ha saputo offrire un’esperienza che va oltre il semplice pasto. L’antipasto di salumi si distingue per la qualità eccellente delle materie prime, mentre le bruschette condite con olio locale rivelano al palato tutta la nobiltà di un prodotto Evo strepitoso. Tra i primi i lombrichelli giocano un ruolo fondamentale, raccontano con generosità ed equilibrio la tradizione laziale. L’assaggio di cicorietta, semplice e sfiziosa, completa un menu che rispetta con coerenza la filosofia del km 0. Accoglienza calorosa , servizio attento e un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, coronano una serata di sapori genuini e atmosfera sincera e piacevole. La Botte Piccola è la dimostrazione che anche nei piccoli locali si può vivere un’esperienza gastronomica enorme. Grazie di cuore da Roby, Giorgia e la piccola Sofia.

20/07/2025: A day on Lake Como with an aperitif, and finally we stopped for pizza in Como city, but… it's incredible and at times shocking to pay €15 to €18 for simple, non-gourmet pizzas. A pizza with salami costs €14, a pizza with sausage €16—these prices are comparable to those in Milan's Montenapoleone district, or perhaps even worse, Dubai… a €3 cover charge for eating on a newspaper-style placemat. The pizza itself isn't great, as it's very thin, almost like a wafer, so much so that it's difficult to lift without a fork, and the mozzarella is very watery. I absolutely don't recommend it, and I'll never return. Let's not even consider the service; four Sri Lankan waiters who don't even speak Italian—for these prices, I'd expect much better. In a word, completely disgraced. If a family of four goes there, with four pizzas at €30 each, including cover charge and drinks, we'll be left with over €100. Are you kidding? We're still talking about a pizzeria, not a Michelin-starred restaurant?! Because at a certain point, browsing the menu, I wondered if, instead of being in a pizzeria, I was in one of the many luxury hotels above Como.

07/07/2025: I'm sorry but you only work because tourists come. The appetizer is small and of poor quality. The first course is half a portion. The second course is fried. Small and badly cooked. And few choices.

31/05/2025: A very nice place in the center of Viterbo. Amazing pizzas with a finish with Sardinian nougat and myrtle, a real icing on the cake. Attentive service and attentive to customers' food intolerances. Excellent quality ratio A pitstop not to be missed

09/06/2025: Quiet and welcoming environment, menu with a minimum of offers between appetizers, first courses, second courses and side dishes. Dishes cooked to perfection and seasoned in the right way. I didn't ask for desserts but they are there. Repeatable experience.

14/06/2025: The tramezzini! A dedicated counter that is a place to dream, comparable to the "great" Roman tramezzinari and similar. Rustic place but with a nice outside and in the shade during aperitif time. The staff is friendly and attentive. A good vegetarian (and vegan) choice on the menu.

07/06/2025: Very nice place a few kilometers from Rome. Surrounded by greenery. Everything is perfectly organized for a relaxing stay from the room to the pool. The food is also excellent if you want to use the restaurant of the inn, but only for lunch. For the evening there is still Orte and other neighboring towns a few kilometers away.

24/05/2025: A beautiful farmhouse in the countryside, a stone's throw from the remains of the Roman port of Seripola, you eat very well and the service is excellent
