02/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at La Palazzina restaurant in Rieti, and it was a truly special experience. The restaurant has a significant history, carried on by six generations of restaurant owners, and the passion is evident in every detail. The owner, Giuseppe Amici, was very kind and took me on a tour of the restaurant, showing me photos and documents that tell the story of his family, including during World War II. This story makes the place even more interesting and adds significant value to the experience. The welcome was wonderful: the waiters were polite, attentive, and always available. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and I really enjoyed both the indoor dining room and the outdoor garden, where the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The food is truly excellent: the cacio e pepe was delicious and perfectly balanced, and I loved the tortelli with ricotta, zucchini flowers, and anchovies—truly unique and flavorful. The bruschetta, with their signature olive oil, was also special. The mixed meats and the bruschetta with lard were also excellent: everything was prepared with great care. Finally, the wine I tasted was truly nectar. I highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking good food, tradition, and a genuine welcome in a quaint city like Rieti. I thank Giuseppe, Oxana, and Leonardo for their wonderful welcome. I will definitely be back.

16/04/2026: We came from Salerno for a judo competition and were referred by locals. Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent food, reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

15/05/2026: I had a wonderful lunch! The appetizer was truly excellent, carefully crafted and rich in flavor. The butter and sage ravioli were simply delicious: fresh pasta, delicate, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The dessert also ended the meal in the best possible way, truly exceptional. A special thanks goes to the waiter Francesco, extremely kind, professional, and attentive throughout the service. He made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality, hospitality, and excellent cuisine!

23/04/2026: La Rocchetta is home, the place to eat when you want to feel at home. The service is cheerful and fast, thanks in large part to Francesco (I hope I didn't get his name wrong). Delicious appetizers, homemade first courses, and exceptional condiments. Special praise for the excellent quality grilled meat.

10/05/2026: Google Maps says the kitchen closes at 5:00 PM. We arrived at 2:30 PM; after a 10-minute wait because "a table for two is free," they told us we couldn't sit down to eat because the kitchen closes at 3:00 PM. They advised us to "go further ahead," but unfortunately the second restaurant was already closed. Because of this miscommunication, we missed a meal (and I can't begin to tell you how uncomfortable it was for a diabetic not to be able to eat lunch). If we had known, arriving in the area at 2:30 PM, we could have chosen a restaurant where the kitchen closed later. The icing on the cake is that they don't accept cards (which is deduced from the sign at the entrance "no bar, no cards"). Maybe the food is delicious, but unfortunately, I'll never know.

07/04/2026: A fairly strategic location for reaching Lake Turano (Rieti). But the location (Posticciola, a hamlet of Rocca Sinibalda) of this property isn't MAGICAL, but *ENCHANTABLE*, thanks to its meticulous care, thanks to some artists who have transformed this small village into a true gem worth visiting, rich in history and local tradition. The property is managed by the great Gianni. He is remarkable for his simplicity, friendliness, and skill for always being available. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and the bathroom was completely renovated. Breakfast (on the terrace) was DELICIOUS, with a wealth of homemade desserts. Lunch and dinner? What can I say, everything was delicious and plentiful. I also recommend the pizzas and tiramisu. We'll definitely return because we didn't have time to visit all of Posticciola... And it was instantly magical... ❤️

22/03/2026: Avoid – shocking bill and zero transparency Two steaks, two side dishes, two beers, and two bruschetta (two simple slices of bread with tomato sauce): €100. An absurd price for absolutely average quality. The meat is decent, but nothing to justify the price. Menu only available verbally and no prices stated: an unacceptable practice that leads to surprise bills. A clear sense of dishonesty, especially towards non-locals. The atmosphere is cold, the table settings are basic, and the service is practically nonexistent. Poor value for money. We won't be returning.

Kind and helpful, even with our beloved 🐶 Nebbia, who was let in (and let us get water) without any problem, and with a smile for her too. (Not like the nearby bar where pets aren't welcome, and consequently neither are we!) Thank you so much, best wishes, and see you next time.

18/04/2026: Maybe it was Easter Monday, but there was a lot of confusion at the tables. Dishes meant for other tables kept arriving, and we all ate at different times (there were 6 of us, 3 and 2 of whom had the same dish). The location was very beautiful, the food was good, especially in some areas (meat), but the "Roman" dishes weren't the best (the carbonara didn't seem to have an egg, the supplì fell apart, and it didn't taste like supplì). We hadn't gotten the message sent days before that we were fewer, even though they had responded.

06/05/2026: My group and I went to lunch here and had a truly wonderful time. Despite some unexpected events on our part and the resulting delay, the staff was extremely understanding, helpful, and friendly, even though the place was packed. The food is entirely homemade, and you can taste it: I especially recommend the first courses, with truly spectacular fresh pasta. A wonderful discovery, we'll definitely be back.
