Excellent food! Highly recommended! We had the arrosticini, which are 15 euros a portion, a mixed grill, all delicious, the tart and tiramisu, and two coffees. We spent 46 euros.

It was 2:15 PM and we were looking for a restaurant, and while walking along Via Salaria we saw the sign for this butcher's shop. The parking lot was full, so with little hope, we decided to give it a try anyway. The restaurant was indeed full, so we asked, and the waiter (who looked like the head waiter) said, "If you give me 5 minutes, I'll fix you up." So it was, we sat down, and in no time at all, they brought us drinks. There was a set menu, but we ordered à la carte, and everything arrived in sequence. Mixed appetizer (excellent cured meats), super-abundant and delicious first courses (gnocchetti with mutton and fettuccine with ragù), second courses chosen from the butcher's shop: steak (600g) and heifer burger, side dishes of chicory and grilled vegetables. Wine, water, and coffee: 90 euros. What can I say? From the service to the quality and quantity, everything was excellent, so we'll definitely try it and return. A tip: the first courses are really plentiful, so it's best to split them.

When they present you with a €30 menu with four choices of starters, main courses, side dishes, water, and wine included, shut up and eat! The portions are generous, everything is good, the meat and fettuccine are good, but parking is a bit limited.

I already knew this place for its strategic location along the Via Salaria. Easter Sunday lunch confirmed my previous comments: excellent food, wonderful staff...simplicity and flavor combined, served with unparalleled kindness and courtesy. 😍✌Well done, keep it up! 😃

Everything was delicious, the mutton polenta was exceptional, the gnocchi were wonderful.

Everything excellent, exceptional meat

We discovered a restaurant by chance on the side of the road. We ordered an appetizer: a platter with hot dishes (coratella and tripe) to share between two. The cured meats were incredibly fresh and hot. For starters, I highly recommend the gnocchi with mutton sauce... out of this world! The pieces of boneless meat were gigantic. Possibly the best mutton sauce I've ever eaten. I'll definitely be back. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, from the kitchen to the dining room.
