24/02/2025: Excellent experience, polite and competent staff. We ate some very, very good tuna (they also accommodated the need for more cooking) and a much appreciated red snapper. The vegetables served as a side dish were also very tasty and well seasoned. To be repeated! Advised!

14/12/2024: we had the company dinner at the Grottino and spent a truly great evening as guests of Salvino and his sweet wife. They prepared a succulent dinner for us and offered their place to entertain us and have fun with karaoke and Salvino sang with us. I will definitely go to visit them with my family and I hope to become a regular guest.

12/12/2024: Locale situato in una bella piazzetta alle spalle del municipio...una fraschetta nella pianura pontina con eccellenze di formaggi e salumi...dove si possono degustare anche tipici piatti romani...simpatico e premuroso il propietario tal Salvino...ma la vera anima è Simonetta...moglie del propietario...cuoca top....da provare....!!!

08/12/2024: A welcoming place, where you can feel at home and enjoy delicious dishes without spending a fortune, this trattoria is a real gem! The environment is intimate and well cared for, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that immediately makes you relax. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the best of the menu. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable. It's rare to find a place where you eat so well for so little.

29/03/2025: Michele is a top-level chef, he comes from a family that is involved at high levels in the restaurant business. The other two brothers work one in Paris (2 Michelin stars) and the other in Orvieto. Careful with the products that he uses in a very careful way on everything that enters his kitchen. Today a pecorino with vegetable rennet that married wonderfully with the paccheri alla newborn of cuttlefish. A very rich fry enriched with a Camarque salt true refinement in taste so as not to cover the sea flavor of the ingredients used. And then being treated in any desire by Roberto and Piera as if at home. Last note since they opened their level it has been very good with constant growth. Excellent value for money. A pitstop not to be missed.

10/02/2025: Very kind and honest owner. We booked with Smartbox and it gave us a wide choice of dates and no limitations on the menu which included 3 courses and a bottle of wine. Excellently cooked food, wide choice of starters, first and second courses. Elegant and clean place. Excellent experience. Thank you.

15/09/2024: If you visit Ponza, you must eat here and try the tuna and mozzarella skewers. Best appetizer ever, it may seem simple but is so so good! Main courses are great too. The red snapper and swordfish were amazing! And desserts? The pear crumble and cheesecake were both great!

17/09/2024: THERE IS BETTER - Decent but not excellent food - 8 euros for 1/2 liter of house white wine / in a carafe + 4 euros for service, for 2, for eating on paper placemats and on pizza slice tables seemed excessive to us - €38 in total for 2 for one pasta each and 1/2 liter of wine

14/09/2024: I had lunch in this small inn today, the first question I asked the waiter (owner) he was rude and unprofessional decent food we took a platter of cold cuts he brought us a small plate with a cut sausage and four slices of ham a small piece of tiny cheese the bill too high for the service and the food there is better.

Excellent food, expertly cooked by Antonio and his women. Grandma's donuts make you swoon with deliciousness. And the seafood gnocchi are sublimation! A heartfelt thank you for helping to make it perfect this special day.

The appetizer has no equal with the delicious pancakes and many other delicacies but continuing with first courses, second courses and desserts you reach the pinnacle of taste. 03/01/2025: My partner and I were in Gaeta and we chose this small restaurant on the seafront because we needed tranquility. We were welcomed by the owner, a very discreet and kind Rocco Papaleo type. We ate very well, starting with an appetizer of cured meats and cheeses described in their origin and nature by the owner very accurately. I still have in mind the goodness of organic goat cheese, black pork salami from Caserta, delicious local olives and special ham. We then had two tielle with escarole, olives and cod, it was a pleasure I would have eaten until I fainted. Followed by a portion of black beans with pork and another with escarole and cannellini beans, all accompanied by excellent bread and an excellent wine clearly recommended. It is a family run kitchen where the owner's daughter is in the kitchen. It's one of the few times that I take the flavors of food away with me in my mind. It is a place among my favorites where I will definitely return.

26/08/2024: Bel locale curato, attenti nella ricerca della materia prima cucinata con cura. Ottimi gli spaghetti alla puttanesca! Anche le tielle e i crostini molto gustosi.

27/09/2024: We stopped at this beach which is very pretty, very calm and even deserted at the end of September, it is very clean and pleasant. We ate at La Scalette and we were pleasantly surprised, it was just delicious 😍 the sea bruschetta is just divine, the seafood pacchero incredible and the fried foods were delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I will go back there when I come back to Italy!
