26/08/2025: Excellent and plentiful dishes, well-cooked and tasty. We tried the first courses and grilled fish, and it was definitely worth it! The staff was exceptional, friendly, and helpful. It's a shame we were just passing through, but I hope to return soon; it's worth it! The prices are very reasonable.

Not only that, they also offer non-alcoholic drinks made with the "zero" version of the most famous spirits.
Delicious cuisine is an excellent accompaniment! Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

17/08/2025: I dined at this lovely restaurant two evenings ago. The location is tastefully decorated, elegant, tidy, and clean, and staffed by friendly and professional wait staff. The pizza was amazing! The meat was good quality. The small gift while you waited for your order was both welcome and tasty. The homemade bread was incredibly delicious! The wait times were reasonable: serious cuisine demands its time. I highly recommend this restaurant, where the entire staff's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident.

04/09/2025: We got married on August 27th at Grappolo d'Uva, and everything was perfect. We can't say enough about the excellent service and helpfulness of Tiziana and Elisa, who looked after us with great care throughout the year and on our wedding day, flawlessly managing the coordination of the day itself. The professionalism and expertise of the restaurant manager Achille and the entire staff were exceptional!
The location is splendid and meticulously maintained, and the menu and quality of the food were excellent. We had Italian guests and others from around the world, and we continue to receive compliments on our wedding.
I can only recommend Grappolo d'Uva and thank everyone infinitely.
31/08/2025: On Saturday we celebrated my daughter's wedding and I have to say that everything was wonderful from start to finish, beautiful place, very polite and professional staff, excellent food, fabulous musicians in short, an organization worthy of applause 👏 👏 👏 and then the sea that mirrors a fairytale location! 12/08/2025: The mozzarella we ordered was spectacular, and next time we'll order buffalo meat, which we've never eaten before. I'm curious to know what it's like because I imagine it to be soft and juicy.

Polite and knowledgeable staff, thanks go to the waitress Loredana, very good at recommending and explaining the dish in detail (and that's not for everyone), I will definitely return, a wonderful dinner.

11/08/2025: Delicious food, probably one of the best restaurants in the area. Fresh and authentic- must try. I'd you go, ask your waiter to bring out an assortment of local things to try as your antipasto. Their gnocchi Alla sorrentina are incredible.
10/08/2025: We came here today completely spontaneously. We were seated quickly, only to end up waiting a little longer than usual for the food. When it finally arrived, I have to say it was very, very good. We had one ravioli with a pecorino burata filling and one fried calamari. The food was exceptionally good. The prices are a bit higher than usual for this area, but they're absolutely justified for the quality. We would eat there again anytime.

29/08/2025: A very quiet place, with tasty dishes, from appetizers to first and second courses and side dishes, served with kindness in a family atmosphere. Toward the end of the meal, the owner, a very friendly and affable man, delighted us by offering and sharing a selection of excellent bitters made with herbs and spices, mostly from Calabria, which he introduced to us individually, as well as a homemade turmeric and ginger limoncello. Truly excellent value for money. We'll be back as soon as we can, when we're in the area.

09/08/2025: We used to frequent this place many years ago; we returned this evening and found the same comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. You can eat inside or outside. The owner, Paolo, is a true gentleman and host.
A cacio e pepe worthy of a 10 from Alessandro Borghese.
Pizza l'Arco DOC with real buffalo mozzarella.
The fried calamari is also recommended.
Fair prices.

We were delighted to hear the host's suggestions for dishes.
The mixed antipasto was a bit spicy but very varied in flavor. The meatballs and roulades were full of flavor.
The hospitality and courtesy, along with a smile, completed the picture.
03/08/2025: A particularly captivating stone setting with an olive press millstone in the middle of the small dining room.
A restaurateur who gracefully conveys his enthusiasm and professionalism, pairing carefully crafted dishes with authentic local products, expertly presented and commented on.

Alessia, serving tables, never loses sight of you, always attentive to your requests, orders, and needs. Umberto, the owner, is the man with a smile for everyone.
Highly recommended.
22/08/2025: The more I go, the more I want to return. The atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable, and full of lush plants. The food is excellent, with a wide variety, even off-menu items. The staff is friendly and attentive. Even the littlest guests are treated with kindness and respect.
The wait times are very short. The owner is hospitable and friendly. Both my son and I will gladly return.

23/07/2025: We return to this restaurant often, and every time the experience is impeccable. The quality is consistent, as is the attention to every detail. The cuisine is balanced and never predictable. Each dish is conceived and crafted with great respect for the ingredients (which are equally high-quality) and with a mature vision, even though the chef is young.
At the end of the meal, we often stop to chat with him. It's a moment that enriches the experience, because you can sense all the passion behind it.
In short, a place you'll gladly return to.

22/07/2025: We found this place by chance while looking for a gourmet restaurant to dine at after a day at the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the simple yet elegant setting, and the outdoor space is very pretty and well-maintained. The waitress was very good and attentive in her recommendations, and we enjoyed two seafood tasting menus. Of these, we truly enjoyed the tuna tartare and the cod maritozzo with mock cappuccino. The best dish, however, was the pettola with cream of beans and shellfish, with chicory powder—truly incredible. The wine recommendation was excellent. A negative note for the chef's aperitif: although the drink was truly special, the amuse bouche seemed a bit "old," cold and lacking in crispiness. However, the white fish main course with pea parfait was unimpressive and lacked much flavor. The desserts were polar opposites: while the exotic dessert was an explosion of flavors and textures in the mouth, the hazelnut and raspberry dessert had unpleasant textures and almost no flavor. We were very pleased with the pre-dessert and the small pastries. Overall, it was a very positive experience and one I would repeat, especially since the price is perfect for everything you eat; I didn't find it too high for the cuisine, ingredients used, and service.
18/07/2025: We were in Fondi for family reasons, not for a planned vacation, and for this reason, discovering Riso Amaro was even more surprising. My wife, while searching for a good restaurant in the area, spotted this Michelin-starred establishment, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. It's located in the historic center of the city, just behind the castle: a charming area, rich in history and atmosphere.
The restaurant is elegant, well-maintained, and very clean. We dined on the patio, in a quiet and convivial setting, surrounded by a courteous clientele. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, with special mention to the head waiter: kind, attentive, and knowledgeable in her wine selection.
We opted for the five-course seafood tasting menu, accompanied by matching wines. The experience was excellent: beautifully presented, creative dishes rooted in local tradition, prepared with high-quality ingredients and enriched with international touches—such as Japanese-inspired sauces or the use of prized mushrooms. Each pairing was carefully crafted, perfectly showcasing flavors and textures.
While it's difficult to describe each dish in detail, what remains memorable is the harmony of flavors, the refinement, and the overall pleasure of the experience. The price—€65 for the menu, plus €25 for the wine pairing—is absolutely appropriate for the quality of the offerings and the thoughtful ambiance.
Riso Amaro is a restaurant I highly recommend to anyone in Fondi or the surrounding area. I would return without hesitation, even just to discover the upcoming seasonal menu. A well-deserved five stars.
