10/06/2025: We thought the place was rather quiet for a Saturday night as we were the only ones at first. A few more people arrived later on. We learnt later there had been a major football match that evening with the Napoli team playing. We weren't handed menus. We went along with their suggestion of a lobster pasta dish for my husband and a varied cheese dish with broccoletti for me. They poured out 2 proseccos as an apéritif and we also had a glass of rosé wine each. We didn't know even how much we were going to pay and it seemed impolite to ask, so we just accepted the surprise. For the quality it seemed quite reasonable to pay 70 euros, and there was enough to eat. We thought though that we wouldn't take chances like that again and insist on choosing from a menu, or at least know the prices beforehand. We saw that the locals were not handed menus either, so maybe it's the done thing in this restaurant.

21/07/2025: We were there for a baptism and it was a wonderful experience... A modern, well-kept, and elegant location... The staff was courteous and attentive to the guests' needs (especially the extremely helpful owner). The menu featured fish 🐟, cooked to perfection... high-quality, extremely fresh ingredients, and generous portions...

31/07/2025: A restaurant on Lake Canterno, not directly on the shore, so it doesn't have a view. The large parking lot offers quality food and a great location. The single-story building features a lawn and a children's playground in a small park, making it ideal for families. Inside, the decor is new and tastefully decorated, with plenty of seating and spacious rooms. The restaurant serves classic Roman cuisine using local ingredients. Service is worth trying when it's at its busiest, but it's usually quick and attentive. Prices are reasonable and not exorbitant (I didn't order any wines). The menu offers excellent craft beers, and the vegetables include Roman-style artichokes and...puntarelle! Excellent, highly recommended. In the summer, it has outdoor seating and can seat up to 200 people. Of course, the best time to go is not when it's packed, but there are plenty of young people serving and doing their best.

30/07/2025: We came on Sunday for lunch, and despite it being so crowded, we had a great time. The staff was also very helpful in advising us on the timing of the dishes, so we didn't have to wait long. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the desserts were special. ❤️ It's not cheap, but you can taste the quality and freshness of the food. TOP rating.

28/06/2025: I stayed here because of the convenience compared to the motorway junction, rooms are quite modern and clean. At night there was a guard who checked us in even after midnight. The breakfast was excellent, in addition to homemade cakes there were also some savory delicacies 😋 Recommended, the style is very captivating, I liked it a lot! Greetings, Matteo 👋🏻

21/06/2025: Very clean in the dining room, in the bathroom and on the veranda. The girl serving was very kind, discreet, smiling and efficient. The food was well cooked, above average for a tavern and of quality. I'll be back I'm back. To tell the truth, it was a time that would have allowed me to return home in good time for lunch but I preferred to stop and I wasn't wrong. The usual courtesy and the beautiful smile at the reception and the usual cleanliness in the bathrooms and in the restaurant. Perfect air conditioning inside but I preferred to eat outside. Fusilloni with anchovies and cream of turnip tops (I'm not 100% sure but I think it was like that) which were very delicate but definitely a dish more suitable for the winter period. Arrostiticini (4 of 30 g perfect portion) cooked to perfection (I think they use a Rental oven) accompanied with mixed salad dressed to perfection. To finish a divine artisanal semifreddo that I had "spotted" the previous time out. What emerges in each dish is the search for products that are not obvious but always and in any case qualitative. I will return

17/06/2025: location a bit cold the place seems to have just been renovated. I tried the fried courgette flowers as an appetizer and they seemed too swollen and the frying a bit heavy. good tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and guanciale. disappointing gnocchi with ragu, too hard to be inedible. in fact we left them. the owner, kindly, offered us an alternative and did not add the gnocchi to the final bill. very good grilled meat. 2 courgette flowers +1 first course. +1 second course +2 desserts 47 euros final bill. not exactly cheap

07/08/2025: Di passaggio, abbiamo soggiornato un giorno e una notte. Posto meraviglioso immerso nei vigneti, casale ben ristrutturato, camere ampie e confortevoli dotate di clima, tv, macchina caffè, bagni grandi. Bella piscina a disposizione degli ospiti. Cibo della tradizione di eccellente qualità. Personale e proprietaria di rara cortesia e gentilezza. Ritorneremo
