29/10/2025: I went for lunch at Da Rischio, a delightful trattoria located in a hamlet between Allumiere and Tolfa, with some friends, and it was a truly enjoyable experience! The welcome is warm and the staff is kind and helpful. The food is excellent: generous, carefully prepared, and flavorful dishes, made with authentic ingredients and a great attention to tradition. The location is quaint, with its Russian pine slats, although some details could use a bit of a makeover. I'll definitely be back!

06/07/2025: I thought long and hard about whether to apply here, because I really want it to remain an insider tip. You arrive and feel welcome. The hosts, Anna and Pino, really deserve 10 stars. The room was spacious and clean. The food was delicious and just what you'd imagine Italy to be. We were able to recharge our batteries here on our way to Rome, in this peaceful spot.

09/11/2025: A disgrace. An appalling experience from start to finish. We booked a table for two at 9:45 PM. We arrived promptly, politely, and were told to wait "10 minutes." Well, those ten minutes became thirty, then forty, then a full hour. An hour's wait with a confirmed reservation! At 10:45 PM, after an hour standing in the cold, we left without even eating. The apologies of the lady at the entrance with the reservation book were in vain: it's too easy to apologize when the disorganization is obvious. You don't treat customers like that, ever. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to accept more reservations than it can handle, just to fill the room at all costs. This isn't good work: it's disrespectful to the people who had the courtesy to organize themselves, arrive on time, and choose to spend their money there. If you don't have a table, tell the truth. If the wait is longer, let us know. It's the bare minimum for anyone who works with the public. We can't stand by and watch scenes like this: reservations accepted in droves, no management, customers left waiting as if they were invisible. Transparency and honesty are worth more than a thousand covers. A place like this only gives the impression of wanting to "squeeze" customers, not welcome them. Total disorganization, zero empathy, zero respect. A Saturday night completely ruined—and not just for us, because several people, exasperated, left without eating. I wanted to give zero stars, but unfortunately I can't. I'll just say: Shame on you. Never again. And, sincerely, I hope whoever runs this place stops to think.

23/10/2025: Good food, average to good quality. The wine selection is limited (and the quality is equally poor), but they're fine for a meal like this. Good dishes, carefully prepared with high-quality ingredients. The wait staff are kind and courteous. Fair prices, small place.

30/08/2025: The worst pizza of my life, the base seems pre-made, all the same, hard and tasteless... there are better pizzas in the supermarket, also when I told the man my complaint he reacted irately and arrogantly telling me that I had no idea, we left more than half a pizza and half a focaccia (the same base) and bought a pizza al taglio in the alley of Fontana di Trevi to get rid of the bad taste in our mouths... I was surprised to find such a horrible pizza in Rome. They take advantage of the location of the restaurant, they take advantage of tourists and underestimate them.

28/07/2025: Great food, reasonable priced, and friendly staff. I always visit this place everytime I visit Rome since 2019. I was so sorry when I saw it was temporarily closed in the last March. I hope I can visit there next year!

21/10/2025: An incredible experience with the owner, a great entertainer who makes us feel like we've known each other for a long time due to his way of doing things... excellent food, especially the fried chicken, and excellent craft beers too. In short, a place worth trying for anyone in the area... we'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: We go out for dinner a lot, but truly have to say: never had we ever a host like Michael. An absolut fantastic and heartwarming host who does what he loves. You can tell that he is passionate about his restaurant and values quality and regional food. We were delighted to be his guest and our two small children couldn’t have been any happier. The food Michaels wonderful wife prepared was delicious and we almost couldn’t keep up with the high quality shots (gin/rum/whiskey) we were provided with. 😄 We want to thank you, Michael for this lovely experience and the sweet memory you gave us. 26/10/2025: Today, to celebrate my wife's birthday, I had decided to go to another restaurant in the area, but then I changed my mind and booked a table for four at Stuzzichino, requesting a table near the fireplace. I was told it would be difficult, as they had other similar requests. We showed up around 12:45 and were seated at a table near the fireplace, as requested. It was our first time there and we weren't familiar with the place, which was already a real pleasure. The place is lovely and intimate, and it was soon fully booked. The staff were very friendly, and they even recommended/suggested some dishes. I found the carob flour bread interesting. Excellent dishes, and we were all pleased, especially since the service was fast, considering the place was full, and I think the price was fair. We will definitely be back.

26/10/2025: A family-run trattoria, unassuming but with truly excellent food. The staff is friendly and helpful. Try the nduja bombette (or ravioli with ham). The homemade desserts are also excellent.

11/10/2025: We love it. We stumbled upon it three years ago by chance, looking for a place to eat, and despite its modest appearance, instinct told us to stop. The lady cooks like a pro: pajata, truffle ravioli, and bombette stuffed with anduja and provola cheese... Everything is super homemade and delicious. And the gentleman is incredibly friendly and welcoming; he spoils us with a drink, even a non-alcoholic one for my son, and always has a kind word for everyone. We hope it never changes, and I'm a little sad to write this review for fear it will be overrun by tourists, but they truly deserve it.

01/11/2025: A small bar in the heart of Monteverde, Cafe Vert offers a wide selection of drinks and food. The table service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is also excellent. I understand the need to expand, but the outdoor tables are a bit uncomfortable (since some are on a slope) and exposed to traffic. Finally, I find the prices excessively high.
