04/06/2026: If you are looking for authentic and food made for local people, then you have to visit this place. Carbonara was the best I've had. Staff is friendly and explained everything (even the menu were Italian only) 😆.
22/05/2026: In the heart of Pigneto, one of Rome's liveliest, most alternative, and multicultural neighborhoods, this splendid trattoria is the ideal meeting point for anyone seeking sincere, hearty, and traditional cuisine, served at truly affordable prices. The atmosphere inside is consistently vibrant, youthful, dynamic, and pleasantly informal, characterized by simple, yet tastefully designed decor that naturally fosters conviviality, joy, and spontaneous conversation among the adjacent tables. The dining room staff is made up of young, well-trained people driven by infectious enthusiasm, ready to welcome each guest with a warm smile, spontaneous kindness, and a down-to-earth approach.
The menu offers hearty cuisine that faithfully adheres to the golden rules of Roman "cucina povera," yet interprets them with a touch of freshness and contemporary energy. The first courses stand out for their generous portions and rich toppings, with perfectly blended sauces, creamy and flavorful to suit even the most discerning palates. The patiently cooked meat dishes and side dishes featuring fresh seasonal vegetables are prepared without unnecessary aesthetic pretensions or pretentious plating, but with extraordinary attention to authentic flavor and richness. The meats are incredibly tender and flavorful, always accompanied by savory sauces that seem tailor-made to be mopped up with the last piece of bread at the end of the meal. An honest restaurant, modern in spirit yet ancient and rigorous in flavor, perfect for immersing yourself in the real, everyday life of modern Rome.
