stumbled upon this restaurant near our hotel and decided to try! simple yet perfectly cooked authentic italian dishes, and we were the only customers who were non-italian. they have a menu translated to a few other languages which was helpful! would recommend the lasagne and pork chop (perfect cook on the meat - tender, not overcooked/dry)

A simple restaurant but with very good food. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Food that comforts you in a welcoming environment. Worth it.

Good Italian home-cooked food. The service is really fast, so if you are in a hurry, this is an excellent choice. We got our pasta about four minutes after ordering. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. I know that in Italy, quickly clearing empty plates is a sign of attentive service, but it still felt a bit rushed when they were taken immediately, especially since we were the only people in the restaurant. Overall, a good experience.

Simple but excellent. Fast and friendly service. A variety of soups (rarely found in restaurants), good gnocchi, and excellent vegetable meatballs. If you like simple, tasty food, this is the place to go. Prices are reasonable.

Stumbled on Ristorante Regina during our walk back to the hotel on our last night in Rome. This family run restaurant had friendly service with excellent value as well. The tiramisu is a must!

05/05/2026: Amazing. I regret choosing à la carte and not ordering one of the menus, but I'll be back. Not a single dish was out of place or unbalanced. It was a high price, but I can't call it "expensive," a place that isn't "high" in relative terms (read: for quality and pairings). I absolutely recommend it.

31/03/2026: Based on the advertising I'd seen, I expected more, in terms of quality and type of meat. The menus were very explicit and clear, but while the Tagliata was excellent, the Picanha was tough, the quality-price ratio, in my case—though this could be an exception, a one-off situation—tipped the needle toward a price that I felt was a bit too high, considering the entire dinner. The service was very professional and courteous, and the atmosphere was excellent.
