04/11/2024: Gorgeous food and lovely owner. We had Tiramisu, Bruschetta and Potatoe in Jacket. The IPA beer also delicious and easy to drink. The owner and his wife were lovely and very friendly. He also speaks a bit of English which is convenient.

04/01/2025: A welcoming and familiar place, with a very nice and kind host. Excellent wine combined with simple and genuine culinary proposals, with local products. All immersed in the magical atmosphere of San Donato. Only one thing you shouldn't do: ask for a spritz!!😂

19/10/2024: The place is very beautiful, with the wall with restored stones. In the summer it is cool inside while in the cold season there are no problems because there is a small wood stove that heats the whole room making your stay comfortable. It is also possible to eat or drink outdoors due to the presence of external tables. WINES: there is a large variety of wines to taste and with the help of Marco "tartufo" (Sommelier and owner) you will surely choose the wine that best suits your tastes. Furthermore there is also prosecco. BEERS: there are craft beers FOOD: the cuisine is traditional, onions, meatballs with sauce, soup, platter with local cured meats and cheeses and much more to taste All very good! The restaurant is located in a central and easily accessible position. I highly recommend you try this experience in this ancient "cellar".

24/03/2025: Disappointing experience. The prices are outrageously high for the quality of the food, which leaves much to be desired. The menu is extremely limited, with very few options to choose from, and what is served does not justify the cost at all. For the price you pay, there are infinitely better restaurants. I absolutely do not recommend it.

24/03/2025: Seconda Recensione in poco tempo meritatissima, che dire Super Marco e suo figlio in cucina, la moglie in sala, una squadra perfetta, antipasti che variano molto dove l'inventiva di Marco la fa da padrona e non sbaglia mai , come ultima pietanza inserita nel menu' ci ha deliziato con una trippa baccala' e pecorino da leccarsi i baffi , come sempre la parmigiana di pesce squisita le cozze freschissime i moscardini al sugo divini ma il piatto forte (e non facile da trovare cosi buono) e' il risotto alla crema di scampi . Abbiamo chiuso con una frittura di calamari fresca e per niente pesante si sente che l'olio viene cambiato spesso GRANDI RAGAZZI ci si sente a casa ambiente familiare. PS: la Grappa Barricata per chiudere in bellezza di alta qualita' cosa da non sottovalutare.

09/03/2025: Sono stato in questo locale con degli amici e trovo sempre irritante il fatto che se si è in più di quattro persone (eravamo in 7) si cerchi in tutti i modi di fregarti. La scelta è ricaduta su questo ristorante perché tutto il gruppo è appassionato di carne alla griglia. al momento in cui ci consegnano le varie ordinazioni faccio notare che la mia bistecca non corrispondeva a quella richiesta (la differenza con un mio amico che aveva scelto lo stesso taglio di carne era notevole: erano bistecche di tipologie diverse) Fatto presente la cosa al cameriere lui inizia fard un gioco stile "carta vince carta perde" prima affermando che mi stavo sbagliando io poi dicendo che poteva esserci un errore. Infine mi cambia la carne e ammette di aver sbagliato l'ordinazione con un altro tavolo... Anche se il dubbio che mi abbiamo portato un altro tipo ancora di carne rimane. Al momento del conto abbiamo pagato singolarmente e chi ha pagato in contanti si è trovato a dover far presente che nella confusione il responsabile alla cassa non ci stava dando il resto di una quota versata. Da parte sua ha finto di non averlo fatto appositamente... Che dire.... Troppe cose che non tornano. P. S. È inutile chiedere la cottura della carne durante le ordinazioni se poi la carne ti viene servita sulla pietra e non ti forniscono un piatto per poterla spostare nel momento in cui la consumi. O mangi velocemente altrimenti la carne si continua a cuocere

16/02/2025: The name intrigued me, so I decided to try it, but I have to say that I've tried better. The choice of meat is rather limited: there were two of us and we opted for a Florentine steak. I had asked for a Danish, but the waitress informed us that only the slightly more expensive Irish was available that day. In the end, we spent €110 between us for: • Charcuterie platter • Focaccia • Fiorentina (I had asked for 1 kg, but around 1.2 kg arrived – understandable human error) • 1 beer • 1 water • 1 Coke Zero • 1 side dish of grilled vegetables (very bad quality, they seemed frozen. The most disconcerting fact was the price: €8). The bill would have also been acceptable if the quality of the food had been up to par, but unfortunately the meat was a big disappointment. Serving it on the hot stone is not a choice I agree with, but the real problem was the flavor: insignificant. Positive points? The service was fast and the staff were friendly, but the quality of the meat does not justify the price. For this reason, I would not recommend it. P.s. the owner doesn't like a detailed and truthful review. You have to be humble dear owner, don't justify yourself and accuse the customer. I'm sorry but I have also read other reviews from people who have eaten much better meat than yours and have received far too ironic responses. Good work.

31/03/2025: Hi, today I went with my family to celebrate my 71st birthday, and my mother-in-law's 96th. A formidable day thanks to the choice of this location. Spacious, clean, with a beautiful view... Well looked after in detail, excellent cuisine, with lots of choice and abundant dishes. Owner and staff very kind, helpful and professional. Exceptional quality/price ratio. Not recently with a lift, therefore accessible to disabled people as the restaurant is on the 1st floor. I thank everyone, together with my family. 22/02/2025: Birthday lunch very beautiful place with the snow-capped mountains in the background. Extremely well-kept garden suitable for ceremonies and ample parking. Lunch based on extremely fresh fish, from Terracina. Abundant and well prepared dishes. Simple menu without putting many dishes that create confusion. Very good, on serve 4 because they got the service order wrong by not starting with the women. In 6 people with 3 starters, 5 first courses and 4 second courses with side dishes we spent 210 euros. Approved I will definitely be back
