15/08/2025: The place is modern, well-kept, and very beautiful in the residential center of Ostia between the ferries and the Panfili. The coffee and croissants are very good, the bill is also very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We were very dissatisfied and disappointed by the owner's behavior, known for being a bit arrogant and unfriendly. We arrived late at 11:00 for breakfast and were told we couldn't have breakfast. He then told us we could have breakfast at the counter, and then we asked for a table since they were preparing it somewhere else entirely. The problem is that later, around 12:00, other people came in, and he welcomed them freely without saying anything, going to serve them at the table himself when we were supposed to get our own cups and croissants and bring them to ourselves. This was a different and unbalanced service that left much to be desired.

The appetizers are varied and sophisticated: from tender octopus served with creamed potatoes, to calamari on a cream of bell pepper, to delicious fried meatballs with sweet and sour sauce. The mixed tasting menu, which allows you to discover different dishes in a single dish, is also excellent. The first courses deserve a special mention: the fresh tagliatelle with calamari and truffle is a rich and refined dish, where the delicacy of the sea meets the intensity of truffle. Among the second courses, the tuna in a Bronte pistachio crust stands out for its perfect cooking and pairing with the radicchio and arugula salad. To conclude, the desserts are worthy of note: the artisanal Malaga-flavored ice cream served with Saint James Agricole rum is an unusual yet successful combination, leaving a lasting impression. 06/10/2025: We went to this place last night. Very pleasant atmosphere. Pizzas: excellent Roman pizza dough (a Roman one with a twist, haha). You can taste the quality. The pizzas were cooked very well (they weren't burned on the bottom, but they were charred just right on the sides, which is typical for Roman pizza). Fried food was good quality, meeting today's demand for above-average fried food. There are two areas for improvement: 1) the size of the supplì isn't adequate for the price (in my opinion they should be a little larger), and the cod should also be a little larger for the price. I'm talking about the rustic supplì with beef ragù. We didn't try the other one. 2) the second aspect is related to the fact that, for me, something a little different would be needed, some more unusual pairings (there are some interesting ones, a few more wouldn't hurt). I'd give the experience an 8- (excellent experience). Adjusting for these two aspects, I think it would even reach 8.5-9 because the pizza dough is truly good. Prices are absolutely in line with today's average for a superior pizzeria.

12/10/2025: The Small Bridge is a welcoming place with ample outdoor space. Parking isn't exactly easy to find, but it's ample for the area. The food is excellent. The meat is truly excellent, as are the appetizers. The service is overall good, although more customer service would be appreciated. I'd happily return and recommend it.

I tried the gricia and the Cinta Senese shank, accompanied by a glass of wine: everything was excellent and perfectly balanced in terms of quality/price. The place is well-kept and welcoming, the atmosphere relaxed but with a touch of elegance. A special thanks to Tina, a Persian woman of unique refinement and kindness, who made the evening even more enjoyable. The owner, very courteous and gracious, wanted to conclude the dinner by offering a delicious Tuscan amaro: a classy gesture that is always appreciated. I will definitely be back: a place where you can feel pampered and eat well! 🍷🍝✨

05/11/2025: I went for dinner a few days ago, stumbling upon it by chance. I chose to have pork shank, side dish, and dessert. The shank was simply sublime. Slow-cooked for over 30 hours. Delicious. Simply delicious. The side dish was okay, the dessert excellent. The place is small, so it's best to book in advance. But it's very welcoming. And the great thing is that the acoustics are excellent (the place is cute and the furnishings are soundproof, creating a very pleasant atmosphere). The staff are helpful, friendly, and kind. In short: top marks. I stumbled upon it by chance, but I'll definitely be back.

28/10/2025: On the first evening of our five-day trip to Rome, we stumbled upon Boris Cucina & Salotto quite by chance and were delighted by the ambiance, the service, and the delicious food. What impressed us even more, however, was the owner's hospitality and kindness. We were in the unfortunate position of having no accommodation in Rome, as our original booking had been canceled that same day by the apartment owner without any explanation. When Boris learned of our predicament, he spontaneously arranged private accommodation for the four of us for one night through a friend, so we didn't have to sleep on the street. Therefore, a big thank you again to Boris!

28/10/2025: I visited this restaurant and ordered pasta — I really liked how well it was prepared. The food was delicious and you can tell it was made with care. The portion was generous, the sauce rich, and the crispy bacon added a nice touch. By the way, I calculated the calories of this dish using the service mentioned in the photo attached to the review. It turned out to be super convenient and quick — everything was ready in just a few seconds! Now I recommend everyone to try using this calorie-counting service — it really makes it easy to keep track of your meals and understand what you eat.

21/10/2025: The place is nice; I went there with friends for an aperitivo. It took us ages to understand the menu, which wasn't even explained to us when we asked the waiters because "they hadn't seen it yet, they didn't have a copy, and it was new." The food was pretty good, no complaints there, but we spent €20 each for a platter shared between two people and a cocktail. Also, a vegetarian friend of mine had all her cured meats taken away, literally bringing her four slices of cheese without changing the price or adding any additional tarallos or snacks. Nice, but it could definitely be improved.

22/09/2025: We celebrated our son's baptism on the terrace. We had a great time; the owner was super nice and helpful. The food was excellent. Both we and our guests were very satisfied.
