04/03/2025: What a surprise to discover the flavors of this restaurant! Roman traditions are respected, and each dish is a true delight, to the point where words fail me.
Special mention for the tiramisu, served in a moka coffee maker: an original presentation, and a cream as light as a cloud. What a joy to end with such an exquisite sweet touch!
I highly recommend this superb restaurant

30/03/2025: Really tasty. Eggplant Parm appetizer was rich and flavourful. Wine sauce on the lamb chops paired really well - flavourful but didn't over power the taste of the lamb. Cacio E pepe was good like most other places we had it in. They were very busy and just two people working, probably the owners, so service was slow but we had wine to keep us occupied :)

04/03/2025: I found this place while walking through the streets of Rome and I was immediately struck by the fresh pasta counter and the welcome of Monia, the owner who together with her husband manages this family business, which made me feel at home. The pastas were one better than the other, there being 5 of us, I had the opportunity to taste various types and I must say that the pappardelle with ragù and the cacio e pepe with artichokes really amazed me. I will definitely come back to try other dishes feeling at home!

15/03/2025: I went to dinner with friends and we ordered meat dishes. We had a really good time.
The pork shank was exceptional and I can say the same for the ribs.
Compliments to the chef, highly recommended place! Wide choice of dishes, attention to intolerances and ideal for children.

10/03/2025: I highly recommend and would go back, friendly and helpful staff, I let them guide me on the choice and I didn't regret it, I had an appetizer with space swordfish and a second course with tuna, and finally a homemade dessert. First choice fish, perfectly cooked dishes that are beautiful both to look at and eat and generous portions, fair prices.

Well-balanced dishes, to be tasted.
Squid with caramelized onion, the best among the appetizers,
While among the first courses, don't miss the paccheri with octopus and pecorino.
I have to go back to try the risotto with scampi cream: the chef accepted the challenge, so he knows his stuff ;)

02/02/2025: Excellent location, furnished with elegance and sobriety, a place with excellent acoustics, I believe thanks to the sound-absorbing furnishing panels, so even if full it doesn't create the typical buzz of many places. The meat is really excellent and there is a wide choice of cuts. The wine cellar is excellent. Prices normal. Super recommended.

20/03/2025: Had a wonderful night at Il Convivo Troiani, well worth its Michelin star. Appropriate decor - a temple to food. Professional and humorous staff. Wonderful and inventive flavours, playful (this seems to be a real thing in Rome Micehelin places). They even played with colours in one dish, made me think of Raphael (getting carried away here).
Great value for its star.
15/03/2025: We had the 9 course meal (plus 3, sweets). The service was great and the food was excellent. Definitely worth coming back!
