13/08/2025: Amazing delicious food ! A true gem of place with a great view of the coliseum. We had the truffle spaghetti, and lasagna and we already can’t wait to return tomorrow for another great meal. Service was great and friendly as well!

12/08/2025: A tourist trap, and obviously we fell for it... It pains us to give it only 2 stars since the staff is lovely. However, having come to eat and take a break (because that's normally the purpose of a restaurant), we were deeply disappointed... Frozen gnocchi, undercooked pasta—it's the height of absurdity for an "Italian restaurant"! Move on, because even if you won't break the bank, you'll leave frustrated.

17/07/2025: My first negative review ever but I feel compelled to warn you: AVOID this place. The owner started with an obvious lie to build rapport. Told us no service charge and free glass of prosecco - Another lie, no prosecco and tried to charge us 2.50 euro for tap water, which I called out and the waiter (who was nice) removed it. It’s a grift, they have used-car sales tactics and poor execution on the food. The picture of the pizza speaks for itself, sloppy and soggy. The carbonara was overcooked and tasted like cheez-whiz. Far and away worst meal we had in Rome.

27/07/2025: Attention and friendliness are a great start to a lunch. The dishes offered included oxtail meatballs with peanut sauce (what can I say?), and then of course, Rigatoni Carbonare and a maritozzo to finish. The dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully served. The wine cellar was well-stocked and the selections were excellent. Even the tables next to ours were SUPER satisfied. I'd say: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! The price is reasonable for the location.

24/07/2025: Best to make a reservation, even weekday lunch sittings are fully booked, but there is a social table with 8 seats for walk in diners. We arrived at 12:30 when it opened and got seats but many people were turned away. Food is elegantly prepared with new and traditional tastes. The pork neck was perfectly cooked and tender with a tasty crust. Simply delicious. Although a fan favorite, I found the oxtail meatball to be too heavy and salty. The accompanying sauce was thick and nutty, not a good match for such a dense dish. I wish they served it with a tangy sauce or some crunchy or fresh element. Service was brisk and attentive. Really nice staff. This is an excellent place to dine if you want to get away from the tourist traps in Rome, it’s not far from the Coleseum but requires an Uber ride.

03/08/2025: A quiet place located in a beautiful area of San Leo. Good food and generous portions, and a good house wine. A wide selection of liqueurs and digestifs. Menu changes are available. Good vegetarian options. Friendly and helpful staff.

16/07/2025: We ate: bruschetta, good, crispy bread, and well-made. The chef's recommended dish, spaghetti with clams and mussels, was hardly worthy of its name. It was certainly priced at €10, but the spaghetti was reheated, with small lupini beans and shriveled mussels. Then there was a seafood salad made with very poor quality ingredients, and finally a fried calamari dish, which was, however, very good, tender, and well-fried.

15/07/2025: Excellent little restaurant, friendly owner, good seafood dinner, fresh and tasty, reasonable prices compared to the local average. Highly recommended.

04/08/2025: A pleasant dinner for four, in a refined setting. The "Petroniana" and meatballs were much appreciated, and Fabiano's wine selection was particularly recommended.

30/07/2025: Magnificent place in the old pedestrian Ravenna, we were welcomed with professionalism and kindness. The pasta was excellent, the presentation very neat, we had a wonderful time in this legendary place

21/06/2025: Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Casa Capone and I must say that the experience was excellent from every point of view. The place was packed but despite the crowding, the service was surprisingly efficient and impeccable. A special praise goes to Anna, a girl who was able to manage the room with extraordinary professionalism. Always smiling, attentive and fast, she was able to meet every need with elegance and confidence. It is rare to find someone so prepared in the restaurant industry, especially in such intense situations. In short, Casa Capone is not only good food and a beautiful atmosphere, but also a high level of service. I will definitely be back!

10/06/2025: Casa Capone has been a guarantee for years now, superlative staff, impeccable cleanliness and order and excellent food from appetizer to dessert. However, one evening for health reasons I ordered a focaccia with only zucchini, and the disappointment was great when they presented me with a really poor dish, on the focaccia so few zucchini that I put them all on one side and ate only two slices. The same problem happened to an acquaintance of mine with the pizza friarielli and sausage, the friarielli non-existent. Lately the pizza has really been too thin to the point that the toppings pierce the dough, you have to eat it with a fork because otherwise everything falls off! It doesn't stay up! I hope I was just unlucky more than once because in any case I think it's one of the best places I know.

16/07/2025: The location looks very cute, a shop we're almost unaccustomed to anymore, and unfortunately, I might add. There are only a few tables, as it's mostly a quick snack or takeout option. Delicious sandwiches! Their porchetta sandwich is really well-made! Plus, they look small, but they're perfect! Excellent value for money!

30/05/2025: Sandwiches of various types, very filling, excellent quality at truly spectacular prices, compliments, a truly economical place considering it is in the center of Rome, highly recommended

30/06/2025: There is little to say, to date in Monterotondo the best place to eat fish. Careful environment, staff so attentive that it almost seems like being at home, in fact, you feel right at home. Cared for and pampered! Needless to say that we will return, also because since it opened and we discovered it we have never left it. Ciao guys, see you soon. Art, Cri and Nicholas!
