16/09/2025: Very Açai in Rome is fantastic! The bowls are incredibly tasty with plenty of healthy, fresh options, and everything is beautifully presented. We loved the vibrant flavors and welcoming atmosphere—highly recommended for anyone looking for a refreshing and wholesome treat.

16/09/2025: Finally found a healthier breakfast option in Rome! This place is in Prati, which is where we stayed, so it was a short walk for us. My husband got avocado and hummus toast and I got a bowl with smoked salmon. Both were fresh and delicious. We also got lattes with coconut and almond milk. Coming from the US, our alternative milk options have no flavor, they taste like water. So these coffees here were a huge surprise to us, as the coconut and almond milks actually tasted like coconut and almonds! I think there was only 1 person working there, so there was a bit of a wait. But she was very pleasant. We only saw 3 small tables outside, so it’s not really a good option for a bigger group, I think. Otherwise, a great find! We’ll be back!

17/12/2025: The place isn't very nice, the tables are cramped, and—on a rainy Tuesday evening—it's overly crowded. The service is informal but absolutely efficient. We tried fried baby octopus, crispy and flavorful, and two first courses: spaghetti with clams, flavorful and creamy, and pici with grouper, olives, capers, and cherry tomatoes...this one was truly delicious! We finished with crème caramel and lemon sorbet. Generous portions and a fair price. For those who value substance, this is truly a great alternative to the more well-known seafood restaurants.

11/12/2025: I was in the area for work and came in, absolutely a surprise: the restaurant is a bit dated, but precisely for this reason, it's welcoming. And the staff are helpful. The appetizers and first course were absolutely excellent. I was satisfied with every bite. I'll gladly return, especially given the outdoor space available.

16/11/2025: What can I say? It was the best three friends could ask for at a restaurant for dinner. The dishes were all better than the last, starting with the appetizer, followed by the tripe, the polenta with fresh porcini mushrooms, and finally the classic wine donuts. All washed down with local wine and excellent homemade bread. We were next to a fireplace that exuded warmth and cheer, with the owners occasionally dropping by to keep us company and chat. Top!

26/11/2025: Excellent place. The food is truly good and the price is right. Don't miss the Antipasto Centro Tavola. The guy who appears to be the manager is a charming, bipolar person. On one hand, he's constantly worrying about whether you liked what you ate, and on the other, he forgets to bring you what you asked for. The baked potatoes, which I even suggested, never arrived. Luckily, because when I left, the "belly" came out first, and half an hour later I... well, I was stuffed to bursting... The decor of the place is wine-themed. Hundreds of bottles are a joy to behold for any lover of this nectar of the gods. As it happens, I'll definitely be back.

08/12/2025: The place is truly charming; it's housed in a cave inside a fortress. I believe it was originally a wine cellar. The dishes I tried were very good and well-cooked. I don't know if it's intentional, but the menu doesn't really have a Roman feel, quite the opposite... so you can also find dishes from other regions. I think they also pay attention to seasonality, which is why we've recently found broccoli, broccoli rabe, and pumpkin on our plates... The staff is mostly young, very courteous and cheerful. There seems to be an air of serenity and collaboration among them, too. Even going to the bathroom is charming... I won't say anything else... you'll see if and when you go 😉.

07/12/2025: I had lunch on Sunday with my daughter and grandchildren and we were thrilled with both the quality of the food and the wine tasting led by a friendly and qualified sommelier, as well as the unique location. They also offer excellent local products to buy to extend the experience at home or as gifts. Suitable for any occasion: from family to a group of friends or work colleagues, or as a couple. We would return soon and recommend it without reservation to everyone!

08/12/2025: We ate at "Da Gaetano" for lunch on December 8th. We arrived at 2:30 PM, and the staff was very kind in seating us despite the late hour. It's not possible to make changes to the menu, but the lady who served us was helpful. The polenta with sparerib sauce was very good, as was the homemade tiramisu.

06/12/2025: We've been returning to this restaurant, located in the Prenestini Mountains just outside Rome, for years. The atmosphere is refined, the owners are friendly, and the staff are welcoming. The restaurant, founded by Grandfather Gaetano, offers traditional dishes with a delightful twist. It's a family-friendly atmosphere that welcomes guests and puts them at ease. The flavors are authentic, worthy of dishes prepared with the finest ingredients. Rich appetizers, homemade first courses, and excellent meats, always grilled! Fresh and delicious side dishes. A wide selection of classic desserts, including traditional pastries and tarts with local jams. Highly recommended... especially for those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable experience in these locations, which offer fantastic views and sacred sites.
