27/09/2025: The Port of Ripetta no longer exists. A hygrometer and a fountain remain where they once stood. The port disappeared with the construction of the Tiber embankments. The small river port was built in 1704 by the architect Specchi on behalf of Pope Clement XI, which is why it was also called Porto Clementino, and served as a port for goods arriving from upper Lazio. On either side were two small columns indicating the flood levels reached by the Tiber.

17/10/2025: The shrimp amatriciana was superb. The cod was exquisite. The owners and staff were polite, professional, attentive, and friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

07/09/2025: A great insider tip! Great Italian restaurant! You wouldn't even notice it if you drove past. We went there twice during our vacation. The atmosphere is fantastic! It's very cozy and decorated with attention to detail. The food is very high quality and very reasonably priced. There's a very large wine selection. The service is very friendly, which was resolved with Google Translate despite some language difficulties. If we're ever in the area again, we'd love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful evening. 04/10/2025: A truly welcoming family-run trattoria, where you can enjoy traditional dishes at very reasonable prices. The platter for two is excellent, packed with delicious cheeses accompanied by fragrant focaccia baked in a wood-fired oven. The fettuccine with ragù, spare ribs, and sausage is spectacular, with an intoxicating aroma that alone is worth the visit. The braised beef is tender and flavorful, prepared with great care, worthy of a high-end restaurant. Also not to be missed is the delicate and delicious sour cherry tart. The dining room has a view, excellent value, and a passion for cooking. Congratulations, keep up the good work!

The ingredients are top-quality and carefully combined to please both the eye and the palate. The restaurant is welcoming and clean; the staff is friendly and provides excellent service.

The quality of the fish was average but very tasty and well-cooked. I recommend trying it for a pleasant evening.

20/09/2025: Castel di Tora, a rural watercolor; in this setting, among the romantic medieval alleys, you unexpectedly come across a narrow alleyway, lined with ancient doors and at the end, "L'Osteria di Bacco." A home restaurant, a "miniature restaurant," very well-kept, clean, delightfully decorated, and welcoming; the owners' passion for the culinary arts and attention to local products infuse every course, simple, flavorful, authentic, and therefore comforting. These dishes reveal the hand of a "home" cook, a bearer of family traditions and certainties, who has modernized the recipes, giving them a much-appreciated lightness, without sacrificing flavor. I've frequented the osteria several times since it opened, and my friends are equally satisfied. I recommend it for a two-hour experience of significant satisfaction and relaxation.

20/09/2025: It is right on the Via Aurelia, crossing the town. A nice welcome, young and easy, but impeccable service: substance rather than empty form. I appreciate the ice bucket for wine, which arrives without asking. The menu is on the blackboard, like in the taverns of the past. We start with a delicious fried seafood, we continue with a classic (tuna steak in a citrus fruit crust) and with an interesting combination of octopus and escarole. Right portions, prices too.
