29/11/2025: We stumbled upon this place by chance and chose to eat there because of the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. The first courses were good and rich in sauce, with only one side, but it was tasty. More attention to service. We'll definitely be back.

23/09/2025: A charming restaurant in the north of the island, distinguished by its authentic cuisine. The dishes are fresh, simple, and full of flavor—ideal for lovers of traditional Italian cuisine. I simply had to try the octopus salad and was not disappointed. The main courses were very good. The fig-based cheesecake perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff provides a warm welcome. A place where you feel at home and can enjoy authentic Ponza cuisine.

18/10/2025: Went here to dinner with my family last night, two adults to kids, the service was fantastic, the meal to die for. Food tasted incredible, but I ate the lamb and everyone else in my family had a pasta dish. I have been sick with food poisoning for the last 24 hours. It has been utterly awful experience. I wish I could just remember this as a fantastic experience but unfortunately it went down hill fast. Lost an entire day to discover the city.

16/10/2025: We had a wonderful lunch here with a small group. The menu offered dishes to suit a variety of tastes, and everyone enjoyed everything. The wine list was also good.

08/12/2025: The place is truly charming; it's housed in a cave inside a fortress. I believe it was originally a wine cellar. The dishes I tried were very good and well-cooked. I don't know if it's intentional, but the menu doesn't really have a Roman feel, quite the opposite... so you can also find dishes from other regions. I think they also pay attention to seasonality, which is why we've recently found broccoli, broccoli rabe, and pumpkin on our plates... The staff is mostly young, very courteous and cheerful. There seems to be an air of serenity and collaboration among them, too. Even going to the bathroom is charming... I won't say anything else... you'll see if and when you go 😉.

07/12/2025: I had lunch on Sunday with my daughter and grandchildren and we were thrilled with both the quality of the food and the wine tasting led by a friendly and qualified sommelier, as well as the unique location. They also offer excellent local products to buy to extend the experience at home or as gifts. Suitable for any occasion: from family to a group of friends or work colleagues, or as a couple. We would return soon and recommend it without reservation to everyone!

15/10/2025: Fabulous place. Stylish, great indoor and outdoor seating, excellent wine and food but best of all was Claudio who is surely the greatest restaurateur in the world. He remembers everyone and gives the best advice on wine. If you are staying anywhere near Metro Basilica San Paolo in Ostiense, then come here.

12/10/2025: At Osteria Andreoli, I had a simply perfect carbonara, creamy and traditional like few others. The fillet steak with porcini mushrooms was a refined dish, with incredibly tender meat and a Barolo reduction that brought out all the flavor. Friendly service and an authentic atmosphere: an excellent experience that I highly recommend and will repeat soon.

06/11/2025: Excellent experience and good food. The manager is always available to help with any requests or concerns. I honestly prefer the middle of the week when it's less crowded, but it never loses quality, so it's a matter of preference. The pappardelle with wild boar was truly top-notch, an excellent appetizer, and needless to say, a perfect porchetta. Prices are average, but you'll still leave satisfied. I highly recommend it.

The food was truly excellent, with attention to every detail, and all our guests were delighted. Special thanks to the owner, Loredana, for her availability and attention to detail: she oversaw everything with great professionalism and passion. I highly recommend Villa Francesca to anyone looking for a refined and well-managed venue to celebrate important moments.

22/10/2025: I got married in this dream villa a month ago!!! And I couldn't have asked for anything better!!!! Loredana and her entire staff welcomed us, pampered us, and organized the wedding down to the smallest detail, so much so that our guests still thank us for the evening and the delicious food!!! We had an unforgettable day... What more can I say!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

11/12/2025: A very rustic place with a huge fireplace in full view, where they cook textbook meat dishes. I had a lovely medium-rare rib-eye steak, tender and juicy, accompanied by a focaccia cooked with lard. The place is very busy, and reservations are mandatory well in advance. I've been back three more times, and I can fully confirm my impressions.

08/12/2025: AMBIENCE: Last Friday I went to eat at this restaurant located at Via Appia 38. As soon as I entered, I noticed how spacious and well-maintained it was. A large fire was burning, its crackling sound seeming to set the pace for my steps. The tables were set, full of customers already enjoying the restaurant's dishes. I was greeted by a waitress who professionally led me to my table. EXPERIENCE: As a welcome gift, I was brought bruschetta drizzled with olive oil. The crunchiness of the bread and the acidic flavor of the olive oil were a pleasant start to my dinner. I ordered a pasta dish with creamed broccoli and sausage. The pasta's texture was pleasant, and the silky creamy broccoli paired perfectly with the bold flavor of the sausage. For my second course, I ordered rare sirloin steak and baked potatoes on the side. Even before the meat was brought to my table, I had the opportunity to watch the chef arrange it on the stove, an experience I found both interesting and enjoyable. Once ready, it was brought to me immediately. The sirloin was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the meat was rare, just as I'd requested, and the baked potatoes were perfect, seasoned with rosemary, which gave the potatoes a delicious aroma. To conclude my meal, I ordered a sorbet, whose sweet and tart flavor was a perfect end to my meal. BILL: I found the bill to be in line with the service received and the food ordered.

05/12/2025: I'll be honest, I've been frequenting Chiara's Bar for a few months now, and more than just a bar/pizzeria, I feel like I'm visiting a big extended family, filled with stories and people mingling over a fantastic pizza and an excellent aperitivo. Breakfast is always a bit of a rush, but the place is truly vibrant in every way. The staff? I think it's an understatement to call them that, but the warmth and welcome are definitely the first thing you'll notice. A heartfelt thank you to everyone, especially Chiara and Daniele (the big guy :) )

27/08/2025: We were invited to dinner at this place we didn't know. A friend invited us to a nice, well-decorated place, but we weren't thrilled with the dishes, from the mussel sauté, which consisted of various types and sizes of mussels, all flavorless, to the spaghetti with clams, which were actually clams (at the price of clams...) and had a bit of sand in them. They were half closed, and at a certain point they left the pasta unseasoned. It was a shame because it was al dente and creamy enough. My husband's fried fish was well-breaded and dry, but undercooked and lacked crunchiness. The parmigiana, with too much mozzarella, didn't convince our friend. The service from the owner, who seated us and took our orders, was rather basic and lacking in empathy, while the waitress was more present and interested in our enjoyment. In short, all things considered, we were not very satisfied, unfortunately.
