The suppli is absolutely amazing and beyond fresh, even went back for seconds later on. The trapizzini was amazing, enjoyed every bite. Sat in the courtyard patio and was amazing friendly service.

Excellent lunch! We have been before, but returned for more of the fantastic food inc. the suppli! The “playvino” is recommended for a taste of different wines whilst having your food. The waiter was excellent at explaining the dishes, wines and general banter. 100% recommend!

We wanted to go in person but our day was too hectic with our infant baby. As a result, we ordered delivery to our hotel and despite the food presumably cooling down a bit and not as fresh by the time it got to us, we still devoured it because it was so good! We tried the eggplant and the chicken trapizzinos and both were amazing, we wished we ordered more. The supplis were also good but a bit too heavy for our taste.

Trapizzino in Trastevere was one of my favorite food stops in Rome. The concept is simple but brilliant: soft pizza pockets filled with classic Roman dishes. I tried a couple of different fillings and they were all incredibly flavorful, hearty, and perfect for walking around the neighborhood.
The bread was warm and slightly crispy on the outside but soft inside, and the fillings tasted homemade—rich sauces, tender meat, and well-balanced seasoning. It’s also great if you want authentic Roman food without sitting down for a full restaurant meal.
The spot itself has that lively Trastevere atmosphere, with people grabbing a quick bite and enjoying it outside. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and location.
