15/07/2025: So... A former neighborhood bar, now expanded and pretentious. The renovated and extremely clean space is anonymous—shabby, country, chic, hipster—perfect for northern Rome and the Pigneto district. I ordered the wrong dish for the summer: gnocchi cacio e pepe. Salty as a salt pan, a mine of salt, too much, even for a dish that's necessarily savory. The wine, a Vermentino, was good, but the selection was limited. Let me explain: if a place is pretentious, the wine cellar must be commensurate. The waiter is friendly, but the person I assume is the owner is not. It's... off-putting... I'm not asking for a flower necklace, but neither am I asking for the cold distance of a New York restaurant maître d', intent on skimming off customers. What can I say... Lunch was a disappointment; I'll try dinner later. The price: a plate of gnocchi cacio e pepe, a glass of Vermentino, and a coffee cost €19.

10/07/2025: I think this was one of the best places that we visited during our 6-month stay in Rome. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. And I will never forget the food that we had there. We visited the bar at least 2-3 times a week. Make sure to visit them during your time in Rome!

27/09/2025: The Port of Ripetta no longer exists. A hygrometer and a fountain remain where they once stood. The port disappeared with the construction of the Tiber embankments. The small river port was built in 1704 by the architect Specchi on behalf of Pope Clement XI, which is why it was also called Porto Clementino, and served as a port for goods arriving from upper Lazio. On either side were two small columns indicating the flood levels reached by the Tiber.

14/09/2025: Spectacular service, we with a child went down to the bathroom and the lady disinfected everything, a service I have never found, attention to all the details from the waiters and also from the owner, I will definitely return and I recommend it
