03/11/2025: 16€ for 1 glass of wine is all I have to say about this place. They would hardly upsell you and you’ll never know the price before the bill comes. Food is below average, small portions. I paid 55 euros for 1 ravioli and 2 glasses oh wine. Left hungry and angry. I am sure they take advantage of tourists and that’s why the place is empty.

03/11/2025: By far the best restaraunt experience we had in Rome. Small and cozy, the food was simple but phenomenal. The Rose was lovely and service was exactly as we wanted.

26/09/2025: I went to this restaurant for the first time and I didn't find anything good, even rude and unhygienic staff.

10/09/2025: I highly recommend coming for lunch or dinner. Very nice restaurant, it's not my first time here, and the welcome is always the best. The staff treats you like a friend, you feel at home. As for the food, there are so many good dishes. I recommend the carbonara and tiramisu. Absolutely worth a try.

18/09/2025: Great experience, I go there regularly, excellent for lunch break, on weekends there is always live music and dinner shows, top food, fresh fish and then the delicious Nikkei cuisine... polite and professional staff... I absolutely recommend!!!

10/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I've eaten at this restaurant often and have always enjoyed it: the welcoming atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. That's why I hate to write a negative review, but last night's experience was truly disappointing. As soon as we walked in, the waiter—the guy with the tattoos, to be precise—greeted us coldly, listlessly, almost annoyed by our presence. No greeting, no sign of attention, it seemed as if we weren't welcome. We sat down and waited almost 30 minutes for our menus, which never arrived. Meanwhile, a couple of the waiter's friends arrived at the restaurant. Coincidentally, they were immediately served and greeted with welcome prosecco, water, and menus, in record time and, more importantly, before us, who had been waiting much longer like two fools. At that point, considering the negligence and lack of consideration we'd received, we got up and went somewhere else to eat. It was truly sad to have to leave a place I've always appreciated, but we couldn't ignore such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment. I hope the right action is taken, because it's a shame, especially when such service risks alienating customers who have always loved this place.

12/11/2025: I was so happy to have enjoyed delicious Mediterranean food in the town of Fiumicino on my last night in Italy. Everyone, from the staff to the owner, was so nice. They were happy to share the food and stories about each other. I would definitely return if I come back.

19/10/2025: The atmosphere is relaxing but not overwhelming, perfect for a lovely romantic evening or a quiet night with friends. The dishes are always excellent, and the off-menu items are always new and imaginative. I always love coming back.

18/10/2025: We tried the appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, all perfect. The service and helpfulness of the owners are beyond compare. We return as often as we can when we're in Rome. Highly recommended.

17/10/2025: I can't give it five stars for two important reasons: we ordered a simple cacio e pepe, which arrived covered in COLD fried zucchini, thinly sliced, which negatively affected the taste; in fact, they were set aside. We then ordered a lobster catalana, which is priced at €90 per kilo on the menu, but unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its value, both due to the freshness of the product and the way it was served, with a mashed potato covering the lobster itself. I've attached a photo for a visual assessment. To be fair, I'd also like to highlight the courtesy of the staff and the atmosphere of an old-fashioned Roman tavern right in the city center, just steps from the Vatican.

08/10/2025: The food is excellent; try the homemade pasta (superb) and the meat (good and well-cooked), obviously with a cascade of porcini mushrooms. The place is a bit dated and could use some more tidiness; there are only a few tables. The wild strawberries in Nemi are a must; they're also available here, but I had mine overlooking the lake (spectacular).

Each bite was an explosion of flavors that made me feel instantly immersed in the local gastronomic tradition. Next, the suckling pig platter was a real treat. The tender and flavorful meat melted in your mouth, its flavor reflecting the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing them. The platter was enriched with a selection of excellent cheeses, which, accompanied by a jam, perfectly complemented the experience. Every bite was a journey through authentic and genuine flavors. The combination of fresh ingredients, culinary expertise, and impeccable hospitality makes Le Scalette a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the true cuisine of Nemi. An experience I absolutely recommend and deserves 5 stars! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
