04/10/2025: Another culinary stop in Labro. We were very satisfied. The food was divine, everyone was very friendly, and the food was local. I'm not a big fan of soups, but when I travel, I love trying new things: I was really impressed by the chickpea and cod soup. I highly recommend it!

18/09/2025: Great experience, I go there regularly, excellent for lunch break, on weekends there is always live music and dinner shows, top food, fresh fish and then the delicious Nikkei cuisine... polite and professional staff... I absolutely recommend!!!

13/11/2025: Service was pretty slow despite them not being busy. It was about 9pm and there was no line to get in. We were also sat in the back of a cramped corner of the middle room despite there being several tables open in other areas that seemed more spacious. At one point it even felt like we were purposely being ignored since an Italian couple who sat down 10 minutes after us were seated next to the lady making the fresh pasta and had their order taken within 3 min and even got their food served before the waiter could even get to us. When we finally had our order taken after 15 min of waiting, the attitude of our waiter seemed pretty off as well. It felt like he didn’t want us there at all. As for the food, we started off with red wine and their caprese which was good. We also had the carbonara since that’s what was recommended but it just tasted wayyyyy too salty and the pasta seemed undercooked. And I’m someone who likes to add salt to everything too. I’ve read the restaurant’s responses to other reviewers who has the same criticism on TripAdvisor and they’ve kept responding that “Roman food is typically salty” so take that as you will with a grain of salt (haha). Just wanted to let anyone know in case they felt the same way about the taste. They also mentioned in their other responses to other reviews that we could have returned our dishes to have it remade but we didn’t want to seem rude. We also got tiramisu which was surprisingly my favorite dish from the restaurant. I went up to the cashier to pay but was just left standing awkwardly for an extended period of time as the cashier was busy making small talk to her coworkers despite the restaurant no longer being busy at that point. I mean like only 2-3 tables still eating and 5 workers crowded in the main room just hanging out while I’m waiting to pay. Could just be a cultural difference so idk but it’s something to keep in mind for anyone reading this. Overall, pretty mid compared to my expectations with all the hype I’ve seen and food was okay. We had high expectations due to the recommendations from social media so I’m not sure if their quality went down due to them being trendy lately. I honestly didn’t even know they had that whole gimmick with the lady making fresh pasta at the front but I’m sure that’s part of the reason why this place is famous. Fyi: don’t trust the palettes of food reviewers from reddit or tiktok lol

18/11/2025: The best prices and very good coffee and pastry but I didn't like we couldn't sit at the table, only at the bar chairs as it was said that sitting at the table is only for the customers that order meals as well.

15/11/2025: This is a small, very natural Rome caffe. Extremely good value for money, the caffe is unpretentious in its slightly eccentric fading Gothic theme, but the coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a strong local clientele but are also understanding of foreign visitors. We had coffee here on three of the four mornings we stayed nearby and already by our second visit the lady owner remembered our order on our last visit. The croissants and pastries were good too. Places like this are to be treasured in the midst of the world stampede towards tourist-orientated offerings. Go there.

16/11/2025: It was truly an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is elegant and welcoming. Meticulous attention to detail. The menu is extensive, and the only flaw is the sheer choice—I could have tried everything! I enjoyed every course, both in presentation and flavor. The service was impeccable, too. The waiters were attentive and discreet. A special mention goes to Gabriele, who was truly professional and extremely kind. Highly recommended for those who love refined food and an atmosphere I'd describe as being from another era.

08/10/2025: The food is excellent; try the homemade pasta (superb) and the meat (good and well-cooked), obviously with a cascade of porcini mushrooms. The place is a bit dated and could use some more tidiness; there are only a few tables. The wild strawberries in Nemi are a must; they're also available here, but I had mine overlooking the lake (spectacular).

I had the pleasure of enjoying a plate of homemade fettuccine with wild boar, which was a true masterpiece. The pasta, with its perfect texture, embraced a rich, flavorful sauce, with the wild boar adding a rustic, delicate touch to the dish. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that made me feel instantly immersed in the local gastronomic tradition. Next, the suckling pig platter was a real treat. The tender and flavorful meat melted in your mouth, its flavor reflecting the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing them. The platter was enriched with a selection of excellent cheeses, which, accompanied by a jam, perfectly complemented the experience. Every bite was a journey through authentic and genuine flavors. 10/09/2025: I highly recommend coming for lunch or dinner. Very nice restaurant, it's not my first time here, and the welcome is always the best. The staff treats you like a friend, you feel at home. As for the food, there are so many good dishes. I recommend the carbonara and tiramisu. Absolutely worth a try.

10/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I've eaten at this restaurant often and have always enjoyed it: the welcoming atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. That's why I hate to write a negative review, but last night's experience was truly disappointing. As soon as we walked in, the waiter—the guy with the tattoos, to be precise—greeted us coldly, listlessly, almost annoyed by our presence. No greeting, no sign of attention, it seemed as if we weren't welcome. We sat down and waited almost 30 minutes for our menus, which never arrived. Meanwhile, a couple of the waiter's friends arrived at the restaurant. Coincidentally, they were immediately served and greeted with welcome prosecco, water, and menus, in record time and, more importantly, before us, who had been waiting much longer like two fools. At that point, considering the negligence and lack of consideration we'd received, we got up and went somewhere else to eat. It was truly sad to have to leave a place I've always appreciated, but we couldn't ignore such disrespectful and unprofessional treatment. I hope the right action is taken, because it's a shame, especially when such service risks alienating customers who have always loved this place.

04/12/2025: A charming location near the Trevi Fountain in Rome. Excellent Roman cuisine, a truly top-notch carbonara...the cacio e pepe was also excellent. Abundant dishes and competitive prices. I recommend it to anyone in the area! Young and very polite staff.
