08/10/2025: The food is excellent; try the homemade pasta (superb) and the meat (good and well-cooked), obviously with a cascade of porcini mushrooms. The place is a bit dated and could use some more tidiness; there are only a few tables. The wild strawberries in Nemi are a must; they're also available here, but I had mine overlooking the lake (spectacular).

I had the pleasure of enjoying a plate of homemade fettuccine with wild boar, which was a true masterpiece. The pasta, with its perfect texture, embraced a rich, flavorful sauce, with the wild boar adding a rustic, delicate touch to the dish. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that made me feel instantly immersed in the local gastronomic tradition. Next, the suckling pig platter was a real treat. The tender and flavorful meat melted in your mouth, its flavor reflecting the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing them. The platter was enriched with a selection of excellent cheeses, which, accompanied by a jam, perfectly complemented the experience. Every bite was a journey through authentic and genuine flavors. The combination of fresh ingredients, culinary expertise, and impeccable hospitality makes Le Scalette a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the true cuisine of Nemi. 12/11/2025: Excellent friendly service. We enjoyed their bruschetta, pate's on bread, and anchovies appies along with great local wine recommendations. Don't expect super fast service, you're meant to enjoy your time here. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, gets very busy after 6:30pm, ideally arrive by 5:30.

09/11/2025: Went for an aperitif and enjoyed it so much that we returned several days later to share a fantastic bottle of wine. This place came recommended by my airbnb host and I’m so glad we got to experience it. If and when I return to Rome, I hope to find this place is still as wonderful as it was the first time.

28/08/2025: Fantastic. We ate here for lunch on August 9th to break up a long journey and relax. I didn't expect the food to be this good. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were memorable, with fresh black truffle sliced ​​on top (every dish was memorable, we ordered several different ones). The portions were adequate and the quality excellent. The price was right for the quality and portions. Even though we're not from the area, we'll definitely be back.

17/10/2025: Unfortunately there was sand in the food and they still charged the full price. Small portion and average quality for €20 pasta. The male waiter was really nice though. I won’t recommend this restaurant

12/11/2025: I was so happy to have enjoyed delicious Mediterranean food in the town of Fiumicino on my last night in Italy. Everyone, from the staff to the owner, was so nice. They were happy to share the food and stories about each other. I would definitely return if I come back.
