23/08/2025: If you're in Rome, don't hesitate to come here. Good food, nice people, and affordable prices. Two hearty dishes and a drink cost 12 euros, and that's the most expensive thing I've ever had.

22/08/2025: Typical Italian dishes at the best price. They also offer several types of pizza. We ordered a two-course meal and a bottle of water for €12. There aren't too many tourists because it's further from the center, which is appreciated (as a tourist myself 😝). You can order takeout or eat it seated at a table or on the terrace. I 100% recommend this place.

06/10/2025: It is a raw dimond! The food is gorgeous, the service polite and we found the best toilets in Rom. Seriously the food was amazing. The pasta was tasteful and on point. And the bread was crunchy and fresh cut. Totally recommend!

23/09/2025: The best tiramisu I've ever tasted! We also had pasta, which was very good too. The setting is pleasant, the prices are affordable, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend stopping here during your stay in Rome.

While everyone else is vying for an ever-growing market share, only a few places manage to give you the security and care to feel at home when you're away. And Pizzando is not only AIC certified, but also a place where you feel cared for and pampered in every way. Homemade pasta, fantastic fried foods, and delicious desserts are just the tip of the iceberg; beneath it lies an immense love for good food and extreme attention to detail, where every bite becomes an intense taste experience. If you're in Bracciano, this is the place for you, with almost the entire menu available in gluten-free and lactose-free versions. Highly recommended

28/08/2025: Fantastic. We ate here for lunch on August 9th to break up a long journey and relax. I didn't expect the food to be this good. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were memorable, with fresh black truffle sliced ​​on top (every dish was memorable, we ordered several different ones). The portions were adequate and the quality excellent. The price was right for the quality and portions. Even though we're not from the area, we'll definitely be back.

16/10/2025: An absolute hidden gem, just a few minutes walk from overpriced restaurants or hugely long queues, this little cocktail bar, restaurant and bookstore is the perfect place to get away from the crowds. The meatballs were eye closingly delicious, and €5 cocktails from 12-8 are, like the food, made with care and attention. Makes me wish I lived just around the corner.

11/10/2025: Oh My! How lucky were we to literally stumble on to this cozy spot? We were greeted by Vito and Erica with such warmth! I loved the look of the place with tea tins, bistro tables and BOOKS! We enjoyed a quick drink as they were about to close. The next night was our last in Rome and we are thrilled we decided to spend it with Vito and Erica again! They are so cheerful, kind and just plain fun! We enjoyed beer and wine as well as fabulous food.! We hope to return someday. Tim and Elizabeth

03/09/2025: If there's one place in Rome I always love returning to, it's Il Papetto on Gianicolense. I don't know if it's the family atmosphere, the consistently friendly service, or the quality of the fish, but every time I go there I leave with a smile and a happy belly. It's one of those restaurants that makes you feel at home, without too many frills, but with an incredible attention to flavor and fresh ingredients. The first time I went, the name intrigued me, but it was the aroma that wafted from the door that won me over. As soon as I sat down, I immediately noticed the courtesy of the staff: smiling, helpful, and ready to offer advice without ever being intrusive. And I must say, their recommendations have always turned out perfectly. The seafood appetizers are, in my opinion, Papetto's real strength. Fresh, varied, and lightly prepared, they're a riot of flavors without ever being heavy, and they open your stomach for the following courses. I've tried the raw fish several times, and I must say the quality of the fish is exceptional: you can taste that it's been carefully chosen. The cooked dishes are also fabulous, with simple yet thoughtful combinations that enhance the natural flavor of the sea without overpowering it. Every bite seems to tell a different story, and that's rare. The mussels deserve a special mention: simply fantastic. The broth they're served in is unforgettable. It's balanced, light yet flavorful, with a final touch that makes you want to mop up every last drop. The first courses are equally extraordinary, maintaining simplicity and complexity at the same time, with that common denominator: fresh ingredients. It's clear that behind them is a particular attention to detail and the harmony of flavors. The atmosphere is simple, welcoming, and refined, unpretentious but with a warm feeling that immediately puts you at ease. There's nothing forced: it's almost like dining at the home of friends who love to cook well and share their passion. Ultimately, Il Papetto is one of those restaurants that makes you want to return again and again. I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh fish, authentic flavors, and the pleasure of being pampered by attentive and sincere service. For me, it's become a go-to in Rome, a place where I know I'll eat well and leave satisfied. My recommendation, of course.

03/10/2025: As a Spanish tourist, I'd say it's the best place in Rome for authentic food. The best pizza we've ever had. The prices are reasonable, and they have discounts at The Fork, which are easily applied. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is equally authentic. Thank you so much for your work. After this being my second time in Rome, I'm sure I'll eat there whenever I can on my third.

12/10/2025: Two friends and I went for an aperitif. It's a centrally located place, so it's busy but not too noisy. It has outdoor patio seating and indoor seating. Excellent service, friendly staff. Linda

16/10/2025: I can't really rate the food since i only ordered a few drinks here. But the location is very nice and cozy and the staff is very friendly. The drinks are high quality and made with noticeable effort, they taste great either way. 10/10 would come again, highly recommend it to passers by.

08/10/2025: The food is excellent; try the homemade pasta (superb) and the meat (good and well-cooked), obviously with a cascade of porcini mushrooms. The place is a bit dated and could use some more tidiness; there are only a few tables. The wild strawberries in Nemi are a must; they're also available here, but I had mine overlooking the lake (spectacular).

I had the pleasure of enjoying a plate of homemade fettuccine with wild boar, which was a true masterpiece. The pasta, with its perfect texture, embraced a rich, flavorful sauce, with the wild boar adding a rustic, delicate touch to the dish. Each bite was an explosion of flavors that made me feel instantly immersed in the local gastronomic tradition. Next, the suckling pig platter was a real treat. The tender and flavorful meat melted in your mouth, its flavor reflecting the care taken in selecting the ingredients and preparing them. The platter was enriched with a selection of excellent cheeses, which, accompanied by a jam, perfectly complemented the experience. Every bite was a journey through authentic and genuine flavors. The combination of fresh ingredients, culinary expertise, and impeccable hospitality makes Le Scalette a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the true cuisine of Nemi. 06/09/2025: I stopped by after the renovation. The location has lost its former elegance. It's definitely brighter and more functional, but now it's modern, not elegant. The croissants are finally good. I wasn't thrilled with the mini croissants, but they still deserve a solid 6. The gelato is always a solid 6.
