18/06/2025: We had lunch as a family on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in this restaurant with medieval decor nestled in a small, typical Lazio village (Casalvieri) and it was a delicious moment not only for the excellent flavor of each dish but also for the warm welcome from Marco and Zio who, above all, gave us a little history lesson of this unique place. We learned that this restaurant was also a refuge for the "partigiani" during the Second World War. The dishes are generous and the beef is of high quality! Marco insisted on presenting us on a platter several ribs of beef so that my husband and cousin could choose them, which is rare! The hamburgers are also divine, accompanied by skillfully prepared potatoes or green vegetables! Of course, the antipasto (mix of cold cuts, various cheeses, white beans in sauce, etc.) was also a real delight. Not to mention the desserts... I can only recommend this restaurant 100% and in all objectivity!!!!

17/08/2025: Very nice and well-kept place. The dishes were plentiful and, above all, delicious!! My girlfriend and I were on a trip to the area and couldn't have chosen better.

12/08/2025: A place that is not very visible, close to the climb to Castelforte, an excellent location on the road, but it would need a sign that gives it more visibility from both points of origin. The flaw is that it does not have good parking. The place is very characteristic, all in bare stone and well structured, with the right capacity for well-managed management. In fact, one detail that I immediately noticed is that they have perfect timing. From the moment the customer is seated, there is a perfect sequence of times between the waiter who serves the menus and asks if he can serve water, a perfect order taken with full clarification of the dishes and a final summary to synchronize their arrival. As already mentioned, perfect timing both in terms of the time from the order and the interval of times between the dishes, I would say a Swiss clock. Congratulations to everyone. Excellent service, accompanied by friendliness and kindness as well as impeccable professionalism. Excellent appetizers of typical local products accompanied by many local delicacies prepared in a delicious way. I tasted two first courses that were nothing short of delicious, and one that was as rich as it was. The seasoning was not heavy at all, a perfect balance that didn't disturb at all. The meats were prepared on a grill that you're delighted just by looking at it and intoxicating yourself with the aroma it emanates. Excellent meats for all tastes, high-quality, prepared to perfection according to the customer's cooking preferences. Various side dishes of seasonal products were served, rightly so and very well prepared. A good selection of wines, not very extensive but perhaps due to space, should be enriched by adding something more special in my opinion. Delicious desserts, both homemade and external, from well-known Sorrento patisseries. Let's say a triumph of sweetness to be savored in rotation. (I would avoid spray cream as a decoration on the plate. If you really want to add it, I recommend preparing it fresh or varying with something else, such as berry juice, black cherries in juice, and more. However, spray cream is reductive when placed next to a good dessert.) The Cherry and Genziana were excellent. Congratulations to everyone, an excellent venue, excellent service, a quality that dominates everything, and a feeling of serenity while sitting down for a very comfortable dinner.

25/08/2025: Must-Visit Sandwich Spot in Rome! We were told not to miss this place when in Rome, and I'm so glad we came on our first day! The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, made with top-quality ingredients, and the service is fast, super friendly, and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back as often as we can during our stay. There are great options for different dietary preferences, and everything is reasonably priced for the amazing quality you get. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome. Don’t miss it!

A location surrounded by greenery and slightly elevated, perfect for those seeking a warm, intimate, and relaxing atmosphere. The friendly and professional staff explained each dish to us and recommended the right wine. A lovely evening and excellent company. We will definitely be back.

19/06/2025: In a slightly hidden neighborhood street you wouldn't expect to find such a well-kept and welcoming place both in terms of atmosphere and choice of food to taste accompanied by an excellent selection of wines in which the highly qualified staff helps you orient yourself. The aperitif proposal for €10 is one of the best in the area, with meat snacks (their specialty!) particular and tasty. The selection of cured meats and cheeses is also excellent, but there is also the possibility of taking more filling dishes such as pinse, sandwiches and savory maritozzi! In short, a highly recommended place both for nibbling something and for a real dinner.

15/08/2025: Discovered by chance, this Hosteria is truly worth a visit. The dishes are prepared with excellent ingredients, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The supplì are the best I've ever had, the pasta with clams is spectacular, and the octopus millefeuille is a perfect balance of flavors. Not to be missed!
