24/07/2025: I've been to this place several times over the years, always in "evening" situations, to be honest. Today, confident I wasn't making a mistake, I went for a simple aperitivo. We sat on the terrace, started chatting, and I immediately noticed that no one paid any attention to us (if we hadn't asked to order, we could have stayed there for another 30 minutes without drinking or eating anything). Afterwards, we ordered and were told that the aperitivo package included one drink each and a platter. The platter was described as a great platter, but what actually arrived was a very meager platter: in short, €15 each for a juice, and that paltry amount wasn't appreciated by us. Furthermore, they brought us our drinks and platter without even a napkin, two pieces of cutlery, or a plate. I'd never had an aperitivo where I had to pick up everything with my hands (especially the huge slices of ham, which needed cutting) and had to use my Tempo tissues, which luckily I had in my backpack. And let's be clear: I love eating with my hands, but there are different situations, and usually the customer is left to choose whether to use their hands or cutlery. I'm writing this review not out of sheer bullshit, but to point out that what we had for aperitivo today isn't in keeping with the place, or at least with the image it's portrayed as. I expect superficiality and little attention to detail from this kiosk, which presents itself as exactly what it is: a rustic, down-to-earth place where you sit on the floor and eat pieces of ham with your hands and drink a beer. I should add that when scanning the QR code to view the menu, we ended up on an incomprehensible, confusing website where you can't click on practically anything. Again: is it possible that nowadays they can't create a simple, accessible, and functional menu? Otherwise, we'll go back to the menu, which worked very well anyway!

24/07/2025: We organized an aperitif for a graduation, including cocktails, cake, and sparkling wine. We were hosted on the venue's terrace, which was very charming and charming. The staff was very flexible with the menu choices and accommodated our needs. The buffet was appreciated by both us and our guests, as were the cake and cocktails. There were a few small service glitches, but these can happen to anyone and were promptly corrected and resolved by the staff. Good value for money. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, where we had our own space and time. I recommend it for more informal celebrations or evenings with friends.

Abbiamo preso come antipasti una selezione di formaggi, una crêpes allo zafferano e asparagi e un bignè con parmigiana, poi primi di pesce e il filetto di ombrina. Per finire semifreddo al lampone e cheesecake alle pesche sciroppate. Tutto ottimo ma soprattutto di qualità eccezionale. Servizio altrettanto eccellente, personale gentile, disponibile e simpaticissimo. Ps: anche la playlist fantastica!!!

06/06/2025: Locale piccolo ma accogliente! Questo posto è come sentirsi a casa. Il menù è pieno di prelibatezze creative ed originali,dagli antipasti ai dolci. Buona anche la carta dei vini. Complimenti ai proprietari , per la passione che mettono ogni giorno nel loro lavoro. Consigliatissimo!

10/06/2025: We went to dinner at this restaurant last night... and we had a great time! One of the few quality restaurants where the portions are really generous! In short, in addition to eating well, you eat a lot here! Everything was delicious... I had a porcini mushroom risotto that was really delicious! Then we were served by a waiter with glasses whose name I don't remember who was super kind and really knowledgeable! I have to say one of the most competent waiters I've ever met! Finally (this is not a criticism but a pleasant consideration) the place aesthetically has remained in the 80s/90s... it seemed like I was back when I went on holiday with my grandparents! In short, highly recommended, go there!

The classics are mastered to perfection, and the less traditional dishes are surprising. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the wait time was reasonable. In the heart of the Trastevere district, a quieter area than the historic center.

23/06/2025: One of our favorite meals in Rome. Stayed near the Spanish Steps and our host recommended it. The wife and kids were getting hangry and needed something quick and this place just happened to be on a side street literally 50 meters from our front door. Lucky for me, it was delicious too!

15/06/2025: A pleasant surprise: close to the historic center. Very good meat and fish dishes. We had the hay with porcini mushrooms, divine! Fettuccine with clams and zucchini, very good. Antipasto 3 scalini, highly recommended, where you can find local cold cuts, bruschetta, fried food (good for 2 people). The waiter recommended the tiramisu revised by them and we, who are used to not tasting variations from the classic, really changed our minds for the deliciousness. Even the wine, for the first time for me I have to review it for the quality after myriads of reviews I have made. Very nice place, modern, new, clean (even the bathrooms). Very kind staff and fast service. The bill was a little more salty than usual but we really ate quality food and it was worth it.

19/07/2025: Il locale è molto carino e il personale competente e molto gentile. La qualità della carne eccezionale, puoi scegliere il taglio che preferisci, verrà cotto a puntino e poi servito a tavola con delle piastrelle per non far freddare la carne. Anche un semplicemente hamburger è di qualità superiore, squisito e con un pane gustosissimo. Lo consiglio e noi torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare altri piatti.

29/06/2025: Se trata de la carne y esa carne está muy bien preparada. Desafortunadamente, prácticamente no hay nada más en el menú, además de carne y papas. Taja E coci está catalogado como un restaurante italiano y ya que están en Italia hay algo de verdad en él, pero no pasta? no risotta? no polenta? ¿Ni siquiera una ensalada verde? El menú extremadamente limitado se vio perjudicado aún más por estar fuera de los pocos artículos que no eran carne o patatas. Lo pasamos bien, pero no volveremos.
