02/11/2025: For people like me, "Lo Spito" (the spit) isn't just a name, but an evocative object, reminiscent of a childhood spent with family in front of the fire. An evocative name, just like this place, nestled like a precious stone within the historic walls of a medieval townhouse. A small restaurant where the rooms intersect between the wooden beams of the ceilings and the arches of an old warehouse. The atmosphere reflects a profound attention to detail, to the past, and to our history. The menu isn't overly extensive, but it's well-stocked, allowing you to enjoy traditional dishes in a cozy, welcoming, almost family-like atmosphere. Prompt and courteous service. Excellent value for money. Reservations recommended.

31/10/2025: Average food, low price... 2 glasses, a sliced ​​steak, a "fillet" with truffles, 2 potatoes, a mixed cold cut and cheese, and 2 potatoes, 2 waters, 88 euros... the fillet was lovely, plentiful and tasty... I think it was a fillet steak due to its shape and quantity compared to the price... it's a shame because the place is beautiful, everything is average, but if I order fillet, I have to eat fillet. Otherwise, I recommend it.

05/10/2025: It had been a few years since I'd been to Trattoria Gasperini, and I was delighted to rediscover the excellent cuisine I remembered, along with a few unusual twists like the delicate juniper-infused wild boar rack. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and Tuscan ragù was also excellent. The dessert was delicious: a mini fruit tart with exquisite cream.

28/09/2025: Excellent home-style food, simple menu with limited choices but quality... Sundays are chaotic, the prices are excellent, the place is quaint, rough but okay, the staff is excellent. The only downside is getting there by car from the restaurant's parking lot. The small alleys of the village are chaotic, and if you have people who have trouble walking, it could be a problem. If it weren't for the parking and the fact that every time you call they tell you we're full, even months before Christmas, for example, I would have given it 5 stars!

12/09/2025: We spent a weekend at this resort and I must say we were completely satisfied. Let's start with the downsides, which are few but there are nonetheless. The property doesn't have onsite parking, which is quite inconvenient given that there's only a nearby parking lot that's always packed during the day. Another negative for overnight guests is the possibility of daily access by outsiders: this certainly creates some overcrowding, which prevents guests from fully enjoying the relaxation (something those who decide to stay here certainly seek). Let's now analyze the resort. It's certainly unique, structured on several levels and with different spaces. There are several hot tubs and heated pools flavored with rosemary, thyme, and more. The outdoor pool is also very beautiful. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are also beautiful; we had a suite with a hot tub. Very good breakfast. The light lunch option, which can also be enjoyed in your room, is excellent. The quality of the dishes in the restaurant for dinner is also excellent.

11/09/2025: A relaxing weekend with my husband, a sudden choice. We weren't familiar with the place. We were truly satisfied. Everything was beautiful and well-maintained. The aromatherapy hot tubs, both indoors and outdoors, were fantastic. Breathtaking views of the Frosinone mountains. Truly, compliments! A wonderful facility. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, not to mention the on-site restaurant. Everything was very refined, with attention to detail. The food was of the highest quality, almost Michelin-starred. We will gladly return and highly recommend it to everyone.

24/09/2025: The legendary Paradiso cake, soft and dusted with powdered sugar, that I used to get before going to Bonghi Elementary School, is unforgettable. It's a joy to see the business still going and to be able to get the same treats for our children.

18/10/2025: I went as a couple, we had a beef and cheese and a Roman pork panini, and it was delicious with very fresh ingredients. The wait was quick, excellent!!

17/10/2025: We have eyed this lovely looking place on our way out of the Vatican City after the Wednesday Papal Audience in St Peter Basilica, but the queue was long, and we grabbed something already. Really happy that we went back the next day - upon entering the store, something smelled really good welcome us, owners really pleasant, their paninis amazing 💛 Ordered the caprese and the burata, and we love every bite of ‘em 💛

15/09/2025: Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Here, you'll only find local specialties made with handmade products at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: We found ourselves in Blera for a walk to see the local necropolis and decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant (reserving in the morning). We found a very pleasant welcome in many ways. Food: excellent first courses featuring homemade pasta (stratti) made by the house's mother, delicious wild boar in white sauce accompanied by excellent skin-on chips, and well-made desserts by the "little girl of the house." The staff: (all family-run) were attentive to all the needs of us diners and even our dog. The prices: fair and consistent with the quality of the food. We will gladly return to try more.
