The perfect Spaghetti alla Carbonara! Surprisingly aromatic Spaghetti all'Amatriciana! Superbly matched wine! I spent the best evenings in Rome there! Lovely staff, great advice on the best dishes. Fantastic atmosphere for an everyday, homely yet exquisite gathering. Worth going there even from the other end of The City!

Hello, this was our first restaurant in Rome and the truth is that for starters we ordered CROCCHETE DI POLLO and the croquettes were delicious, good flavor and texture, then we ordered Carbonara and matriciana pasta without gluten and it was delicious, good portion and flavor and for dessert classic tiramisu for close with a flourish

We had a great time! Found it because it was close to the music auditorium where we then attended a concert after dinner, we couldn't have had a better time. The staff is courteous and friendly (for us it is almost as important as the quality of the food), the dishes we ate were delicious from starters to desserts, the wine they recommended was excellent, the place was well furnished and I personally also appreciated the music selection! Too bad we're not from Rome, we would go back more often, but we'll definitely see us again when we're in the area :)

Super first courses as well as second courses....my favorite restaurant in Rome

We made a reservation thanks to a true Roman friend’s suggestion, and we were expecting a bit more of the true Roman taste and dining experience. The recipe of 'spaghetti cacio e pepe' was modified to be for tourists (?), the 'carciofi alla romana' were poor in their typical and delicate flavour, and the fried 'fiore di zucca' was actually soaked with oil. We finished our dinner experience with a dry 'tiramisù', which is actually a real shame, and with 'cantucci al cioccolato' which were very far from what real cantucci are. The service was also below our expectations: the mains didn't arrive together, such that one guest had to eat their course when all the other were done. The place is very nice and the staff are kind and friendly and it is a true pity to have a poor dining experience in such a lovely environment.

Siamo stati a cena all’Osteria Flaminio nel periodo delle feste e l’esperienza si è rivelata nel complesso piacevole. L’ambiente è carino e l’accoglienza è stata buona. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, direi che il menù si compone di un giusto numero di proposte che vanno dai piatti classici a quelli con qualche tocco di originalità, più alcuni fuori menù del giorno. Tra i piatti assaggiati ho trovato molto buoni i ravioli con ripieno di porchetta, discreto il filetto, poco convincenti i dolci. Servizio efficiente, prezzi medio alti.

Da Giulio e Marco ci si sente a casa. Il locale è raccolto e accogliente ed è un ottimo ristorante di quartiere dall’atmosfera familiare. Ci siamo stati diverse volte negli ultimi mesi e ogni volta ci è sembrato migliorato rispetto alla precedente. l’offerta si è fatta più varia e più curata. Suggeriamo gli antipasti misti della casa che vanno dai classici romani come il fiore di zucca fritto ( ma scomposto) a cose più inaspettate come il gorgonzola nella pasta fillo… ottima anche la polpetta di pollo sfilacciato con la salsa di peperoni. poi si può proseguire con un primo della tradizione romana o qualcosa di più elaborato. ottimi anche i dolci ( il tiramisù con il caramello salato è una variante niente male). I prezzi sono assolutamente adeguati all’offerta. Insomma l’osteria Flaminio vale una visita!
